Bros....I read on the internet that a recall notice was issued last year for all infiniti QX4 models due to a manufacturer's defect underneath the vehicle on the drivers side. Mentioned was a hole will allows road water to enter the steering manifold which overtime may lead to rust while can lead to the steering column breaking as a result of rust due to road water entering the hole defect. Please, as an experienced auto person, what do u have to say about this recall. What advice can u give to potential customers who are interested in the QX4? Must inspection be carried out when a QX4 is bought? Is this recall a serious issue? Please advise. Thanks.
