InvestmentWho Bears The Cost Of Interest On Returned Money From Ipo's by Landmark(op): 3:02pm On Jan 21, 2008
Due to the latest trends in the stock exchange market, a lot of companies approach the market to raise capital and after innocent people uses their hard end money or wages to buy these shares the companies will now come some months after the closure of the IPO'S to tell the public they have excess stocks being subscribed for so they will return the excess back to the people.
My concern is who will be bear the interest that should have accrued if the funds were used as Fixed deposits, or for other investments. Are we sure this is not another cunning way of making use of peoples money to develop their companies without any interest accrued to the company involved.

Christianity EtcRe: - Winner's Chapel Members Meet Here- by Landmark(m): 5:01pm On Jan 17, 2008
Well it's nice having same family together at this time.
I became a member when i went for youth service in 2003, i was the Winners Corpers fellowship president and ever since then it has been a great experience with God. All the teachings and prophetic declarations are indeed working and are real. It has worked for me a lot of times.

Please move closer to God and see him do wonders in your life. Don't give up in all your dreams and aspirations you will surely get there.
CareerRe: Graduates Deficiency In Writing Or Expressing Themselves In English Language by Landmark(op): 5:23pm On Jul 18, 2006
Why are we attacking ourselves when all we should be doing is to educate ourselves. This topic was not raised for us to prove points on whether you are better off. But we all knew this to be our problem but why are we all running away from it. " If you run away from your battle today you will still meet it later in the future but then your level of preparation will determine how you handle the situation.

Yes English is not our father's language, but remember first impression matters a lot. You may be a brilliant fellow but if you meet with an opportunity and you did badly in communicating, then no one will want to listen to you again. There are some interviews that are done through the phone and the ability to carry the interviewer along and give a good account of yourself will determine your performance at the end of the day. At times it is not what you know that gets you the job but your expression.
Please let try and update and train ourselves rather than feeling being insulted. Right now in at my office the Senior manager got a teacher for all the workers so sharpen up their spoken English.
So you can see the importance of spoken English when looking for a good job.
CareerRe: Graduates Deficiency In Writing Or Expressing Themselves In English Language by Landmark(op): 8:01am On Jun 28, 2006
Thank you Scondy, you really get the gist. And i wish to make others see that i was not trying to incriminate anybody but i thought this is a site we use in education ourselves, and if we see things happening in our environment we should bring it here and let's ruminate over it and give solution to the problems instead of criticizing ourselves.
I will really appreciate it if we all can learn rather than criticize.
CareerRe: Graduates Deficiency In Writing Or Expressing Themselves In English Language by Landmark(op): 10:34am On Jun 27, 2006
Yeah at least you know that is a typographical error which can be averted by by going through your work after you are through with your typing.
Well that is one of the solution but i still believe there are other reasons.
Then ASALA "SOLN" can't be taking for "solution" but well always lead by example when next you are making corrections.
CareerGraduates Deficiency In Writing Or Expressing Themselves In English Language by Landmark(op): 7:34pm On Jun 26, 2006
What do you all think is the problem with graduates having problems in construction of good sentences? I have gone through so many of Nigerian graduates searching for job and what you discover is the use of their english is so poor you wonder whether they graduated writting their exams using their dialects.
Most of us post our "resumes" on this site but we don't take into cognisance that employers of labour too come to this site to look at our performances but unfortunately our use of English has really been putting them off from giving us an offer. What do you all think is the problem and what is the solution to this problem?
TravelRe: Is Travelling Out Of Nigeria The Solution To The Problem We Are Passing Through by Landmark(op): 8:06am On Jun 16, 2006
Well all your contributions were coming from different point of view, but i still believe it is not too good for me as a first class citizen of Nigeria to travel out of the country and become a slave in another man's land. Can you even imagine the level of humiliation of being used as slaves all in the name of looking for hard currency, where as there are better opportunities in Nigeria if only we are ready and willing to tap into all the resources that are made available by God.
Then let us all wait and put our skills, experience, strenght, together to develop our country instead of developing another man's country. I don't believe in running away from your problem when you will still go and come back and still meet it the way you left it.
TravelIs Travelling Out Of Nigeria The Solution To The Problem We Are Passing Through by Landmark(op): 2:31pm On Jun 15, 2006
A lot of pple especially the youth believed that the only solution to their problem is to try at all cost to travel out of Nigeria, despite the assault at the embassies, some go thru the desert all in the name of trying to travel. Are you sure that is the solution

RomanceRe: Is It Possible To Find A Graduate Lady Who Is Still A Virgin? by Landmark(m): 12:09pm On May 25, 2006
Yeah it is very possible. Even presently i have one, and i really adore her a lot because like you all have rightly said it hard to find and that is why i know it is possible to find.

But as a Christian too you don't have to make that a criteria but what has God prepared for you?
