Because the issue here is not that Russia doesn't have the means to retaliate. They're just waiting for the right timing. The west wants it to be now, so as to derail Russia's plan.

Remember the same Putin warned about Ukraine since 2008. Look at where Ukraine is today.

Russians are patient and slow to put their foot down into something. But when they're in it, it is FINAL.

Russians, especially Putin do not make hasty decisions. They're quietly setting up things in motion that will hurt the west for years if not generations to come. And the west knows this very well. They have satellites and intel, they already see it happening which is why they're hoping on Russia being defeated.

If them get capital why are they collecting bailouts? Same thing we saw in 2008 and will continue to see. The simple solution to human woes is the total abolishment of private property rights and money. Capitalism will continue to create the myth of prosperity on the cover of Forbes magazine but in reality prosperity is dead! Show me a single place that is prosperous? Even Bill Gates self, hungry pass the poorest man in Sudan. He is more greedy and in need of money than obedience4 wey factory work wan kill for Philly.
