wisepluto: Tnx @Op for this opportunity. I was developing mobile apps on a windows pc. It later crashed and I had to go for a Macbook pro...I have already partitioned the hard disk for both Mac OS and Windows 7 OS. But the challenge am currently faced with is that of the right drivers to enable all the functionality of windows on my mac. An example is the wireless lan which cannot detect any wifi within range. How best do I resolve this issue? Thanks in anticipation.

You need to install bootcamp 5, i had the same problem with Windows 8 on my Macbook pro 13, a colleague also has trouble with his trackpad but since we installed bootcamp 5, all is well...

My Love for any Apple's product is unending. The IOS, OSX among others.. the shortcuts on d Keyboard (Exposés & Spaces) though I still use d Old Mac PowerBook G4 which it's incomparable to any PC, Maleeq Guy doesn't know anything about Mac...

My question goes thus... I wanna repair my G4 screen, any idea on that & how can I get a webcam that will work for my MAC POWERBOOK G4. thanks

whats the exact model of the G4 so we can give you an idea, if parts are available locally or you have to order in.

uneeking: Hi Moderator, I have a challenge here. I installed Windows Ultimate on my system and it worked well for sometime before it started showing that it is not a genuine copy and showing blank. In order to avoid this problem, I decided to install Windows XP on one of the partitions in my laptop. Somehow, the other operating systems disappeared leaving only the XP. Now, Is there a way I can get the Windows 7 partition back? My system files were stored there. Secondly, someone was able to deactivate the Windows 7 "Not Genuine" message using Winrar but has refused to show me how to do it myself. Does anyone know how to do this in the house? Thanks in advance for your expected assistance.

The first problem was the order of your installation, installing XP (an earlier version of Windows Operating system) after Windows 7 Ultimate, The Windows XP Multiboot system wouldn't recognize Windows 7 ultimate as an existing OS installation. If u navigate your hard drive and check you C: (presuming that's the drive letter of your installation), you will find a "Users" Folder, withing that folder you will find another folder with you name or computer name as specified when you installed windows 7 ultimate and all you files will be within that folder.

Winrar is an archiver, used to zip / rar or unzip / unrar files, the person probably ran a crack that was in a zipped format, and most times you don't need to install pirated software, you should have a license key on the back of your PC for the original Operating System that came with your PC

From the symptoms it sound like you have a hard drive problem, From experience this happens when you hard drive File system has errors, it will attempt to boot and then give you a blue screen of death. You'll need to slave the hard drive, backup your files, if the hard drive is salvageable, reformat and re-install your operating system. Reason why recovery wont work is the bad file system

purplekayc: gurus am here again ooo , i have a pc that runs on 2 partitioned hard drives , i want a tip on how to wipe out the other and add the volume to the existing one which i run my xp on ? am running out of space.

Merging partitions can be somewhat tricky as if it isn't done right, you PC might not boot up. Partition Magic should be able to solve the problem for you. if you need help with it in person, we can help FOC
