Imagine declaring a state of emergency in the affected areas, boko haram and co would have fizzed long before now. All we see today is political state of emergency as seen in rivers.

Our military are capable but these politicians are so terrible. They keep hampering their capabilities. Let the military even rule Nigeria for just 6 months to sanitize everywhere then, return power to fresh leaders and return to the barracks thereafter. This country would have a reset and experience speedy progress. But the crop of the military officers we have today lack the boldness to tow this path. It's in the interest of the unity and progress of Nigeria, anyway.

These guys are not from Nigeria. They are here to torment the government of the day in support of their brothers. Like they pummelled Jonathan to submission, PBAT won't tolerate that!

I am a fan of H.E Mallam Nasir El-Rufai. Why? Because he is a first-class graduate of ABU. He is not a Wendell Simlin whose parents spent a fortune on him to study abroad only to end up being a paid political thug, a divisionist, and a stomach infrastructure crooner.

I think the problem El-Rufai is having is that he probably didn't do a lot of aligning and consulting before he defected to the SDP. And he should have done more of that with popular Southern politicians with high electoral values, because he already has the north at his beck and call. And then, he should also have a more nationalistic perspective or approach to issues affecting the country

You see why Nigeria is a big construction site! Under Amtifku and his herdsmen, this money would have landed in Dubai to develop Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia.
