U r right about PDP not being a party anymore. One of its channels in anambra is chris UBA who insisted that ngige should pay him for his venture into the anambra politics. In the higher level like fedral governments, these investors exists. All they do is put more with the hope that more corruption will favore them. If u look at things closely and concidering how much these politicians are surposed to be paid, does it really worth it investing billions of naira to run for presidency if obasanjo makes about 800 thousand naira per month as a president. multiply 800 thousand with 8 years term and tell me if this is up to a billion naira. It is just a clear sign of the curoption, yet his dogs like the EFCC ignore such things becasue he has a farm of about 500 thousand chicken. Even at that, there is no way a person could invest such a superfulous amont only to be paid 800 thousand per month from nigerian money,

The reason why OBJ is rulling for another presidency is becasue his financial objectives which he owns to his investors in the governments money has not been made. Forget about what he tells u. it is simply the truth. Okonjo iweala and efcc is used to make sure that accurate account of these government investments does not leak beyond his own plan. Forget about what u hear in the news, this is the real fact.

Yes that's fine as long as the processing plants are open to UN inspectors. There are several countries that utilise Nuclear energy peacefully without nuclear weapons. The UN monitoring body has access to the sites in these countries. So what does Iran have to hide? Why can't these inspectors go in to confirm it is for peaceful purposes. As far as i can see it, Iran are looking to posses Nuclear weapons. And the only reason they would be doing that is because they are looking for a fight.

Won't be long now before American and Isreali jets raze the Iranian facilities to the ground. Then we can all move on.

I dont think iran is hiding anything. Iran did not resist the united nations negociation. They wanted iran not to procuce the neuclear power in their country. Its meant to be produced in russia to allow US close watch to avoid developing nuclear bomb. Iran refused to have their things produced in another country which I dont think its a bad idea. After all other countires were making their neaclear technology in their country. I think its just biase for iran to not be allowed to produce. UN monitory however is neccesary for a diplomatic solution to be reached/

And in any case, the Niger Delta people do not need anybody to ''release'' what rightfully ''belongs'' to them before we get to develop our lands and people. We would rather do the ''development'' ourselves.

I think you have provided the information I needed for the area. however I am not happy with the niger people for not accepting OBJs development proposal so that niger area will be developed. I think OBJ is trying to be decent in financial distribution plan for niger people.
The people are more intrested in claiming the land and having a "stake" in the oil deal which I believe will lead to more corruption practise. It is not exactly a bad idea to have a stake but concidering what is "bigger" behind it, I think the people should just accept the development plan. However it should be independent of the struggle for the stake becasue nigeria as a country should not need to be told to develop the area like lagos and abuja.

Regarding the stake, I hope that a diplomatic solution will be reached in the issue. One big problem in niger is security.

OBJ has issues 20 trillion naira for the development of niger delta region. Over 400 thousands jobs as well will be created for nigerians in the region. A landmark to end the long term conflict b/w the Niger people volunteer force and nigeria. This might as welll lead to the release of dokubo asari who is currently charged with treason.

I still belive that niger delter security should be tighter than what it is currently is as these investments gets implimented. Education should be provided to the people and more jobs created to reduce the security threat in the area.

Greediness is not abad thing citibank, microsoft and other big insutition do it in a way that while they earn their billions, everyone is benefiting from it. Even in that nigeria, globacom is expanding to india now and that is all beign greedy in a positive way. Other wise glo could have stayed in nigeria alone.
