MarketDispatch: Ohh, really? How come I've never heard about this? But, there isn't much pressure on it by customs like there is on rice and other commodities, right? |
Business / Re: Where Do Okrika Sellers Buy Their Bales From? by Larrishjewel: 6:50pm On Feb 16 |
Tonididdyx:Seeing the price of fuel and hike in transportation cost, I'm just thinking the seeling price is ridiculously low and the trader might not be telling the truth in order to hide the business from becoming too known or saturated. |
Business / Where Do Okrika Sellers Buy Their Bales From? by Larrishjewel: 11:47am On Feb 16 |
I passed through the Yaba market last weekend around five PM and was amazed at the prices of clothes sold there. Prices ranging from 200 to 300 naira for clothes of good quality. I got some ideas and I tried talking to one of the traders and he said they are from Cotonou, but I find it hard to believe. Fuel is expensive and transportation cost from Cotonou to Nigeria should definitely make the prices of the clothes higher. Does anyone know where they buy the bales of clothes from? I will greatly appreciate inputs from everyone and anyone who has knowledge about the Okrika business. Thanks in advance. |

FictioneerHQ: Ahh...one of the most earliest (if the grammar exists...lol) stories I read on nairaland. Had much trouble trying to comprehend the pidgin language then and the story was written in one. Can't really remember the storyline again sef. It was written by flow1759. His real name...Ugochukwu Peter Eke. He once posted to solicit for votes. |
Jobs/Vacancies / Remote Work | Lead Generators Needed by Larrishjewel: 9:03pm On Jan 24, 2023 |
We are in need of people to work on a project of getting WhatsApp contacts of business owners from social media platform to work on a marketing project. Each of the numbers will be checked to ensure you are not duplicating numbers and you did not copy numbers that are old. Pay is 2.5 naira per contact generated for now. You would be given the link to a google sheet where you would fill in the contacts generated. The numbers should be filled in using +234 as the number formats. Any other one you use you will not be paid for that. If the numbers are old numbers or duplicated you also not be paid for those. Note that this is mostly a night time job. If you are interested, you can contact me on WhatsApp on 09056123395. |

Health / How Marketable Is Pharmacology In Nigeria And Abroad? by Larrishjewel: 10:03am On Jan 29, 2022 |
I've always wanted to study pharmacy as a course in the university . I wasn't given the first time I tried because I didn't pass the cut off mark. I tried again with last year's JAMB,but I didn't meet with the cut off mark by 0.4 mark and I was given pharmacology. I don't know if I should go for it since I don't know how marketable the course is or how easy it is to to get a job after school. Nairalanders, advice me on the prospects of the course so I will know if I should try another JAMB or go for it. Thanks in advance. |

I'm finally ready to invest in this domain business. I've read page 1-200,some parts of this 2000+ pages and done some research on my own...and I pray I make my first million before I'm 19. With all I've read,I have some questions which I hope bosses in the house will help me answer. 1) Can I use the MasterCard of any bank to buy any expired domain (I hope to use Godaddy)? 2) Is PayPal and domiciliary account the only means of receiving payment in any marketplace? 3) what about bitcoin? Does any marketplace accept it as a means of receiving payment? 4) what other tool is used to check if people search for a word apart from Google keyword tool? Cause I don't understand how to navigate the site. In anticipation for your detailed reply. Thanks in advance. |
