Lol. Baby.

NATO CANNOT deploy troops in a country that is not part of the treaty.

Engrduke:
So who will remain in PDP and ADC?
Reasonable PDP supporters may never forget Atiku's role in the 2023 general elections.
Nyesom Wike. The PDP structure has been his bargaining chip. Slowly, Tinubu is wooing most of the PDP guys, so Wike will not have anything to bargain with. Most of the Concessions Tinubu gave him, especially as regards Rivers is because of the supposed hold he has on the PDP structure Nationally. PDP has lost the south East, they have lost Delta & Akwa Ibom, they will likely lose Bayelsa and Taraba. If Fubara get sense and he plays his card well by going to the APC, Tinubu will dump Wike Instantly and throw his weight behind SIM for reelection.

He is there as a De facto governor ( being the FCT minister). Remember FCT has a senator as well.

9jatriot:
But don't Shell have other gas supplying unit? They can simply rechannel from any of the other ones na, abi I am missing something?
Yes you are missing something. The other gas supplying 'Units' are already supplying gas to Trains 1-6. if they channel it to T7, they will stop meeting those obligations to T1-T6 and will start paying penalties. So the way it works is that if you will have a new LNG train, then you will have a new gas supply plan. if you plan to use existing facilities, then you will need to expand those to get more gas. That is the way it works

Wouldn't it have been better if it was an indigenous company?
Start your company and explore for the oil/gas yourself. Or work with other established indigenous companies and explore for the resource. No one is stopping you. Please dont tell me about you applying to Govt for loan. That is bullshit.

Brendaniel:
Shell is a foreign company, that's the point and bulk of the profit goes back to the country for resources indigenous companies could have tapped and retained the wealth in Nigeria...
Ok. Engaging you in this discourse will not be productive. The foreign company paid money to acquire the field, paid money to explore and discover the field. after spending money on exploration and drilling, you dont want them to make profits. Which local company has come out to explore oil and the government stopped them? Do you think it is easy to explore for gas offshore and develop it? Man, let me not continue this convo with you. It is pointless

Investing 2 billion dollars to drill more than 100 billion dollars of your natural resources for their benefit...

it is well
It is obvious that you and the people who liked your comments dont know how these things work.

2 billion dollars will be invested, but all the money does not come from Shell Alone. It is a contribution between all parties that own interests in the block. The sharing formula will also be the same when the revenue starts coming in, and on top of that Royalties will be paid to the government.

In a JV system where NNPC owns 60% interests, NNPC will contribute 60% of the development cost (assuming it is this $2bn) and also earn 60% of the profits (assuming it is your $100bn figure to be earned).

I disagree. it is not a Fraud. You cannot compare T7 to Nigerian refineries and it could not have been there at Bonny since Abacha's days.
You are mistaken on this one sir

Shey T7 is still under construction. why the penalties?
T7 will be finished much earlier than this. Once T7 comes onstream, any of the parties that signed gas supply agreements with them (Shell, Total Energies, NNPC, Eni) and does not meet up with supply obligations will pay penalties. HI will not be commissioned till 2028. It is HI & Ubeta that are supposed to feed T7. The other existing gas fields are feeding Trains 1-6
Business › Re: Shell Invests $2 Billion In New Offshore Gas Project In Nigeria by larryUG(m): 1:40pm On Oct 14, 2025
Shell Former CEO BVB messed up big time on this one. You sanctioned FID for the NLNG train 7, but only sanctioning the HI project that is supposed to feed the gas to Train 7 today. Only Total's Ubeta project will feed gas to Train 7 pending when HI comes online, and then Shell will continue to pay penalties to NLNG for not meeting with their commitments for gas supply to T7.

To be honest Muslims communities are the most unfair and they only talk about been fair when it favours their selfishness

Starting from freedom of religion, historically Yoruba kingship is associated with traditionalist while Northern kingship is forcefully associated with islam

This same Muslims will never ever allow a Christian become Emir of Ilorin talk less of Kano or even a non Muslim become emir of Sokoto, they will rather go to war and kill that that to happen even if the rightful heir is a non Muslim

When Muslims are in the minority they shout about right, justice and equality ...trust them at your peril. immediately they because majority they forget about what justice looks like but their own greed and expansionist agendas

Merely suggesting a Christian or traditionalist should become emir of Sokoto can get you killed while other Muslims will simply cheer the killers they forget no one is more northern than the other, they will say respect the rule of the land

Hypocrite chameleons set of people
I wholly agree with you on this one

i cant believe everyone that commented believed there was no package on the flotilla...you all amaze me...flotilla that has been emptied and israel is spilling propaganda as usaul.. Now i know why the average nigerian is dull. You mean countries will send naval ships without verifying if there is aid or not.. the news media got a hold on y all.. I dont believe this propaganda from israel. Each to his own...shalom.
Did you read the statement from the organizers of the flotilla stating that the real aim is to break the blockade so that aid will flow. So they basically admitted that there was no aid. So Israel couldn't have looted what was not there. Why then did they say they initially carried aid and baby formular? Of course you are very gullible, so you will not see that part of the plot

I fully support him on this one. Since the PDP has no balls and have decided to cede the party to Wike, he can have it. A whole zone cannot nominate a candidate for the position of National Secretary and Wike who is not even from the zone, will determine who becomes the rep of the zone. no nau. The entire southeast zone will leave the pdp, since they dont have balls to reign in Wike

Exactly my point. That's the same reason the US is not intervening in Ukraine. Not because the US is weak

OkpaNsukkaisBae:
Seems the US have gone back to fighting drug cartels. They ran away from the Red Sea after Houthis downed three aircraft, attacked their aircraft carrier. I'm still waiting for them to deploy NATO troops in Ukraine to confront Russia. Or at least intercept Russian ballistic, cruise missiles and drones heading to Ukraine from Polish and Romanian airspace just like they did when Iran attacked Israel.
Which 3 aircrafts were downed by Houthis? Which aircraft carrier was attacked? C'mon man, you can do better than this? I believe you dont understand the potency of an American carrier Strike Group that you think the Houthis posses capabilities to down US aircraft.
The weapons that Ukraine uses to attack Russia are mostly US equipment. If Russia is that powerful, they could have also intervened when the US struck Iran. it is all about interests. The US has more interests at stake with Israel than they have with ukraine, so the level of involvement will be determined by interests. Russia got involved in Syrai, but not Iran, Why? Interests.

My point is that if you require funds to maintain a toilet, there are ways to generate it without taxing everyone. You obviously lack capacity to understand that. Imagine someone having a running stomach, so if he goes to toilet 4 times because of the upset, he should pay. Well, you are free to support what ever you want.

It's not easy and cheap to maintain toilets in such a public space

If u have been there u will understand

Infact I don't see any wrong, they have workers there 24/7

How will they get paid?

Very clean toilets o
so the offering is for what? you guys will always defend fraud and rubbish. So because the toilet is manned by workers, users should pay? So when you go to a stadium to watch football or travelling through an airport, you should pay? Are there not workers there 24/7? Before you respond, I attend RCCG in PH. if the church cannot pay workers without charging for the toilet usage, then there is a big problem. in my parish last year, the pastor called us and a few other guy to buy Split unit ACs for the church, I bought one, others bought. This year, we were called to start monthly contributions to support Diesel and Salaries for workers, the few of us that the pastor reached out to started contributing monthly. Why didnt the pastor start charging every member money to enjoy AC, buy diesel or listen to Music since the Musicians are being paid? Very soon i go stop to dey attend that church
