Hi guys, please is there a way to fast track passport production ?
Did my capturing 30 April this year and up till now, still showing passport not produced .

First of all, the immigration office I know is in Asaba - Onitsha expressway and I went there but was told by drivers that there's no office there.
I was directed to Asaba - Ibusa expressway.
Newbies please note if your center address is in Asaba, the address is Asaba - Ibusa Expressway ( don't be confused).
So when I got there, I was ask who brought me which I replied no one , I'm DIY.
There were saying so I'm among those that want to stress them. I was taken to a office and was told to pay more for fast tracking which I told them I wouldn't be able to afford.
They collected my documents and I was told to wait outside. Waited till almost everyone has gone, one of the officers ask for my name and started looking for my file. Later I was called into the office and was told that I'm at the wrong center.

The document showed Warri:Command Hqters, Ogwashiku Rd. Asaba

I argued that the document was showing Asaba but they brought someone's document to show me the difference.

My Center address is Warri and the Delta State immigration center is Asaba.

So If yours shows Asaba:Command Hqters, Ogwashiku Rd. Asaba , then your center is Asaba and if yours shows Warri:Command Hqters, Ogwashiku Rd. Asaba,, then your center is Warri.

Note the difference.

Also that address is supposed to be Asaba - Ibusa Expressway not Ogwashiku Rd, Asaba.

Mhennn I'm very angry right now.

Caveat: I copied this from another thread, i hope it will be helpful for you and others that might be in this same situation.

You mean to tell me that since I put in Warri there and it shows Warri:Command Hqters, Ogwashiku Rd. Asaba, that means my appointment is gonna be in Warri?
Another thing, do you by any chance have a list of needed documents that will be uploaded during the registration process?
What background color should be in the passport?

Almost everything in Nigeria works with connections and a very strong one at that which is something I don’t have right now

I’ve had my fair share of assistance from this thread. Someone who has an intention to help you will do it regardless. Had some problem with my land and needed to put a structure in and I contacted someone here and trust me, he did it quite low and also delivered. He even did some modification without any fee.
If you want to help someone then I feel you should go ahead regardless .
Trust me, when I have something huge, I’ll definitely contact this person that helped as a means of appreciation but then, people differs

If you mean registering without going to their office, then yes you can do that online. You'll however need to visit the immigration office to get captured. Can't speak to the duration, but this nairaland thread inspired me to DIY the first time I got my passport in 2018. I chose the headquarters in Abuja and didn't pay more than the official amount at the time save the 500 naira I gave an immigration guy who was helpful to me at the headquarters. I got my passport in 2 days.

I just got back right now from the immigration office at Akowonjo to get captured for my new passport. I DIY again and didn't pay anybody except the 500 naira I used to get a file. Hopefully will get that one soon too.

We should all encourage Nigeria to be better by doing it ourselves. So I'll encourage you to give it a try.

Also, experiences vary from persons to persons. All the feedback I got on twitter for the Akowonjo office for DIY people was negative. I almost booked my flight to go do it in Abuja cause I'll rather pay 200k to fly to Abuja than pay any immigration officer here. I was that determined. I however decided to give akowonjo a try and I had a smooth experience. Nobody requested for money and it was pretty fast too. So give warri office a try.

I want to know if it’s possible for me to get it done myself without going to their office in Warri, delta state. Is it advisable and what is the duration to finally have my passport delivered to me or be ready?

The perpetrators of this crimes goes beyond the ordinary workers you see in these factories. Higher ups are major beneficiaries of it and with I’ll gotten wealth. Fake product isn’t much different from those who still import hard drugs into the country which is equally destroying lives.
Such laws won’t even go through because the people giving directives are some of the law makers .
