Hi everyone,
please when making payment for IHS settlement wife, there is no option for ILR or TIER 1 General visa category(my spouses visa route). Anyone had this same issue? and please what option to pick.
Also how much is the IHS fee for just me no children.

Many thanks.
I paid 820 dollars for the IHS.

The Sponsor's letter and Applicant's letter will contain almost the same storyline, so you might as well just include all the details in one single letter which will preferably be the Sponsor's letter. In my case, we had both and we didn't have any issues as well.

My take is that the letter is not as important as the supporting docs.
Thanks and God bless you.

Thank you so much. To be sure, we should write 2 cover letters. 1 from myself and one from from my sponsor.
Please show us a format. I wasn’t aware of the applicant writing a cover letter.

Hi Everyone. I have downloaded and printed this form (APPENDIX 2 (VAF 4A DECEMBER 2013) and was just about to fill it when on the form I noticed that the wrote this:

You MUST also complete and submit the main Personal Details Form (VAF4A). Failure to do so will delay your
application.

Please where can I find this form? I thought I just needed to fill out the VAF 4a form and also the sponsorship undertaking form.
Confused. Any Info will help.
It’s same as the online application. I just printed out mine from the website. After filling it online, If you want to book an appointment please do on time cos this is peak period.

[quote author=Lexusgs430 post=67993432]DNA report, is he on PAYE? What application route, are you using? Is he a British citizen?
He is not yet a british citizen but he has indefinite leave to remain in the uk. We are applying for settlement visa.

[quote author=Lexusgs430 post=67992645]His permanent residence derived from? What sort of visa/passport does your husband hold?
You don't require IELTS. Does you husband have all documentations required? Does he meet the financial requirements? Does either of you, have all logs? Do you have marriage registry certificate?
Yes we have a marriage certificate. He has indefinite leave to remain. He earns over 22,000 pounds a year. We have his statements and pay slips. Proof of address. What other documents do we need? Thank you

Hi, longest time.. been soo busy. Answers to your questions.

You can get a drivers licence with your Brp cause you are on settlement visa. I got my provisional licence 2 months I came into the UK and by the 4th month I got my full drivers licence and I drive like a pro now in the streets of Manchester city. It's all in your mind. How determined you are. I took the driving test once and boom!!! I passed. It cost me £370. So give it a try, it will relieve lots of stress. Just get the form and fill it then , send your original brp with it and they will get back to u.
Again, have you registered to vote? I have and just voted this May. There was this election in Manchester and I voted the Liberals or whatever their name is...lol. It will help to build your credit rating and that will help you to get credits, loans and Finances on cars and other stuffs.

Hope the land is treating you well. Cheers
