He Will Share His Reward February 23 Matthew 5:12, 'Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.' MATTHEW 5:10-12 Jesus is saying that persecution should actually cause us to rejoice. There are many positive things about persecution but one of the best reasons to rejoice is because of the reward awaiting us in heaven. https://fb.watch/3QkNFbHFtr/ Jesus takes the persecution of His saints very seriously as can be seen during the Damascus road experience of the apostle Paul. The Lord asked Paul (then Saul), 'Why are you persecuting me?' (Acts 9:4) He didn't say, 'Why are you persecuting my people?' but 'Why are you persecuting me?' It is not actually us that people are rejecting but they are rejecting the One we represent. Therefore, Jesus promised to share His reward with us. All the glory and honor that Jesus has and will receive will be shared with those who have suffered shame for His name's sake (Rom. 8:17). What a great reward! Focusing on the reward instead of the persecution can actually make us rejoice when people speak against us (Acts 5:41). Paul actually longed to experience the fellowship that Jesus provided to those who suffered for His sake (Phil. 3:10). God's reward is infinitely greater than any suffering we will ever encounter. |

Only The Hungry Are Fed February 22 Matthew 5:6, 'Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.' MATTHEW 5:1-9 In the natural world, people eat even when they aren't hungry. Many of us can prove that by turning sideways and looking at ourselves in the mirror. But in the spiritual realm, only those who are hungry can get fed. One of the worst things that can happen to us is spiritual complacency. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGgK3ieX-IpZcjqmnM8A7CA Being hungry for the things of God is one of the best things that can happen to us. Most people don't feel that way. They would rather have the feeling of being full. But Jesus promised us that fullness would follow hunger. No hunger, no fullness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EY068ASRfo8 Therefore, what many people hate is actually a sign of spiritual health. Longing for more of God is a healthy sign. No one hungers for God on their own. That is not the nature of man. No man hungers for God unless the Spirit of God is drawing him (Jn. 6:44). Hungering for God doesn't cause God to move in our lives, but it is a sign that God is already at work in us. We should praise God for spiritual hunger and be encouraged. He doesn't make us hungry and then let us starve. He does so in order to fill us with His blessings and love. We need a hunger that will never be satisfied until the marriage supper of the Lamb. |
Ministry In Action February 19 Mk. 1:31, 'And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.' MT. 8:14-17; MK. 1:29-34; LK. 4:38-41 How did Peter's mother-in-law minister unto Jesus and His disciples? Did she sit them down and preach to them? Certainly not. Yet sometimes people think the only way we can minister to another is to admonish them with the scriptures. live Calming Music, Relaxing Music, Meditation Study, Sleeping Music,Relaxing Music, Soothing Music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKhb9ci4nVI Please you may want to Subscribe, Like, Share, and comment! for more power meditation music https:///3dngT2P Peter's mother-in-law apparently ministered to them by serving them. The word translated 'minister' is the same word that was translated 'deacon' twice in the New Testament, and 'serve, served or serveth' eight times. We can minister for the Lord by doing some of the menial tasks that many consider to be unimportant. Jesus said that even a cup of cold water given in His name would not go unrewarded (Matthew 10:42). Many people are waiting for the important jobs to come along where they can make a big impact or receive a lot of recognition, while they pass by many lesser opportunities every day. But in the kingdom of God, we won't be given any great opportunities until we are proven faithful in the small things (Luke 16:10). Today, ask the Lord to show you ways you can minister to others by serving them. |

Demons In Church February 18 Mark 1:23, 'And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out;....' MK. 1:21-28; LK. 4:33-37 Many people don't associate demon possessed people with places of worship. Yet most of the demons that Jesus cast out were encountered in the church. Why would demon possessed people be in church? In some cases, the people were there because they were seeking help. The church, like a hospital, offers people the cure and therefore, attracts those who are sick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36w9fcvMYso In other cases, the devil sows these types of people in the church to spread spiritual disease. A church that is teaching the true Word of God should either try to evangelize these individuals or make them so convicted that they move on. Sad to say, demon possessed people can thrive in most religious settings today. We always need to show love for the sinner as Jesus did, but we should cut the devil no slack. If a person wants to keep an evil spirit on the inside of them, they should not feel at home in church. Let the Spirit of God live through you as He did through Jesus and you will either make people mad or glad, but there will not be indifference. |
The Chosen Ones February 17 Mark 1:16, 'Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.' MT. 4:13-22; MK. 1:16-20; LK. 5:27; JN. 5:38 Jesus never chose an apostle from among the religious system. Every one of his twelve disciples were men that He chose from the secular world. It wasn't because God didn't have faith in those who were religious. It's just that most of those who were part of the religious system didn't have any faith in God. Guitar Relaxation Music, Meditation Music, Stress Relief Music, Sleep Music, Healing music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yux05UMzg1Y One of the most common mistakes religious people make is to put faith in themselves. They think God will use them because of their great holiness or special abilities. Paul said, 'But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, [yea], and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are' (1 Cor. 1:27-28). People who recognize their own inabilities are of necessity more dependent on God. That is the way God wants it. The Lord is constantly searching for someone who recognizes they are nothing so He can do something through them (2 Ch. 16:9). Instead of thinking of your responsibilities, just respond to His ability. |

Familiarity Breeds Contempt February 16 Luke 4:24, 'And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.' LUKE 4:16-30 A modern day equivalent of this verse is 'familiarity breeds contempt.' Those who know the most about us also know more of our faults than anyone else. As a general rule, our weaknesses will blind most people to our strengths. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzBvUvURZns However, in the case of Jesus, there were no faults or failures to bias these people. In this instance, the problem stemmed from the people's lack of perception. They knew Jesus better than most in the flesh, but they had failed to see who He was in the Spirit. Jesus was God in all His power and majesty, yet He was clothed in flesh --a human in every respect (1 Tim. 3:16; Heb. 1:3). These people looked on Jesus' outward appearance and failed to see God within (1 Sam. 16:7). Likewise, we fail to see the potential in others and even in ourselves because of our preoccupation with the outward appearance and actions. But within every born again person is a new creation which is waiting to be released (2 Cor. 5:17). All it takes is someone who believes. Today look beyond the exterior in yourself and others and help bring into reality what we can be in Christ |

Our Debts Have Been Cancelled February 15 Luke 4:19, 'To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.' LUKE 4:16-30 This scripture had been written prophetically by the prophet Isaiah about 650 years prior to this time. It was read in Jewish synagogues thousands of times. But the one this verse was speaking of had never spoken it before. With this pronouncement, Jesus began the year of Jubilee. The Year of Jubilee was described in Leviticus 25. It was a year when everyone left their fields unworked and kept a sabbath unto the Lord. The Lord gave the people a miraculous provision the year before this jubilee started that sustained them for three years until their crops could once again be harvested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKhb9ci4nVI This jubilee was different than the other sabbatical years in that every debt was cancelled. All property was returned to its original owner and anyone who had been sold into slavery was set free. It was a year of new beginnings. Jesus proclaimed a spiritual jubilee. We now live in a time when all our debts to God have been cancelled and all the things the devil stole from us have been returned. Even our slavery to the devil has come to an end through the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a time for rejoicing. Jesus is our jubilee. |
Spiritual Food February 13 John 4:32, 'But he saith unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.' JOHN 4:27-46 Food is essential for life. Without it we couldn't grow. We get strength and vitality from food. Yet food can kill us. Improper diets kill more people than any disease. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4YtR2fz9vw Our soul needs nourishment too. The things we think on and the desires that we have are food to our souls. Jesus said, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God' (Mat. 4:4). Jesus valued spiritual nourishment more than He valued physical nourishment. He was thrilled to see this woman and the people of this town respond to His gift of salvation. Likewise, we should set our desires on the things of God so that spiritual matters are more important to us than our physical food. The wrong diet for our souls is the leading cause of failure and depression in Christians. Being spiritually minded produces life and peace. Being carnally minded produces death (Rom. 8:6). In our health conscious society, many of us wouldn't dream of abusing our bodies with bad diets. Yet in our soulish area, we are killing ourselves by feeding on the wrong things. Treat yourself to a healthy spiritual meal today. |
Worship Him In Spirit February 12 John 4:24, 'God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.' JOHN 4:4-26 Man dwells primarily in the physical and emotional realm, but God is a Spirit (1 Sam. 16:7). To have true fellowship with God, we have to relate to God on the spiritual level. In order to make this possible, God changed our spirit. At salvation, our spirit became totally new (11 Cor. 5:17). It is now righteous and truly holy (Eph. 4:24). It is now exactly the way Jesus is, because our born again spirit is the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Jn. 4:17; 1 Cor. 6:17; Rom. 8:9; Gal. 4:6). In our spirits we are worthy to come before God and worship Him without any fear. Our spirit is the only part of us that is worthy. That's why we must worship Him in spirit and in truth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pL24Q6FX3mw When we come before God dwelling on all our failures and problems, we are not approaching Him through our spirit. Our spirit is not our problem. Our born again spirit is perfect. There is a place for mentioning our problems and failures but it's not the part of us that has been saved and is in fellowship with God. We must always base our relationship with the Father on who we are in our spirit through Christ Jesus. |
Eternal Life--a Quality Of Life February 5 John 3:16, 'For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.' JOHN 3:1-21 Most people focus on the part of this verse that promises us we won't perish. Although it's certainly a wonderful promise, it is not the focus of this verse. The primary purpose of Jesus' coming to this earth was not forgiveness of sins, but to give us eternal life. Sin separated us from God so Jesus dealt with sin. However, His payment for sin was just a step toward His ultiimate purpose of reconciling man to God. If someone believes that Jesus died for their sins but doesn't go on to enter into the close fellowship with God that Jesus made available, then they are missing eternal life. Eternal life is not a length of life, but rather a quality of life. Eternal life is intimacy with the Father and Jesus (Jn. 17:3). Many people have been done a disservice in being told that Jesus came to forgive us of our sins 'period'. If it had been all that He did, it would have been wonderful--and much more than we deserved--but much less than what He actually accomplished. Today, take full advantage of your salvation and go beyond the basic forgiveness of your sins into intimacy with Almighty God. God bless you |
One of the most important questions you should ask yourself is, “What makes my videos different from others?”. If you upload a video about a topic and deliver it in a way that hundreds of others already did, don’t expect much views and subscribers. When people search for that topic only the ones which have the highest views will be shown in the feed. You need to think like the viewer. What makes a viewer click a particular video. Its important to add your own twist and style into your videos. It doesn’t have to be ground breaking idea or anything. Be original and different. Thats what people love. Good Luck! Another pro tip is always be consistent. Don’t upload videos when you feel like. Try one video a month and release that video on the same date every month. When you start getting a hang of it, Increase the stakes. 2 videos a month and so on. In addition to this, if we are talking about technicality: Good Lighting: This is a very important aspect of any video. Dark and dimmed video does not hold the interest of viewer. Outdoors are the best choice, but if your video requires to be inside, try using a lot of lighting devices. Also, learn more about the proper lighting placement from Youtube. I bet there are tons of videos out there about this. If budget is not a restraint, go for studio lighting. Description: A great way to show that your are serious about your work on YouTube, is by having a great description. Give the basic idea about the video, share all/any social media links, share links about the topic. If its a product review, share links of websites that have the cheapest price for that product. Use of Annotations: Just the like the description, create annotations that make people what to check it out. You can also share links here. Hardware: I’m talking about cameras and microphones. Now this is completely based on your budget, If budget isn’t a restraint, go for the best cameras and microphones out there. They are good investments. On the other hand, if budget constraints are there, nowadays phones have great cameras. I own an LG V20, which has a pretty decent camera. Bought the phone just for the cam. Microphones, I don’t suggest using phone microphone. Get a decent USB mic. You can’t go wrong. Social Media: Use this to your advantage. Start accounts on all major social media sites and start sharing. Make your friends, family, colleagues watch and share them. Thumbnail : Every heard of click bait? Well don’t do that by lying. Make your thumbnail something so catchy that the viewer can’t resist to click. I’m not saying upload a picture of a hot chick as the thumbnail. Make it catchy. Go Wild! |
First - Start with the guitar you want to play forever. Electric or Acoustic, start on one, learn the other much later. Too many people buy a cheap acoustic that has poor intonation and discover steel strings hurt on tender finger tips, or start with a classical guitar that doesn’t play many songs, (Unless your Willie Nelson). So if you like electric you can find decent Mexican strats or Epiphone Les Pauls and an amp. In the beginning the amp can just be a way to get evicted. You can play through a small amp with a headphone jack, or many pedals and soundboards allow you to play with headphones. The key is to build skill sets with the easiest parts first. Second - now that you have a guitar you will play for years, cause it does take time, start learning how to play simple open chords like E, A, D. Learning to voice a chord well on a well tuned guitar with decent intonation is the first step. Play one chord so well it chimes, all the notes are there. Study chord formation. Third - Now practice switching between chords. E A and D is a common chord pattern, lots of songs are written with just these 3 chords. Find a TAB website, download lyrics and chord tabs that use these chords and play along to real music. Fourth - Jam to recordings. I have a local blues channel that provides hours of backing music to play lead against. This also helps you find the root note or key of a song. Learn more chords, more voicings, triads, diads, and onto scales. Allow about 20 years to master this area as it can be endless. Scales help you build a mental roadmap of the fret board and each mode (12 of em, one for each note) has it’s own scale and can sound different from other scales. Scales develop into leads. After years of practice you can listen to a song and pretty much figure out where it was played, after finding a few blues leads you will find that pattern can be moved up and down the neck to play along to songs that might not be in the same key. Fifth - form a band. Do this earlier rather than later. Starting with friends at the same music level helps keep the band together and forces you to stay in time and anticipate chord changes and song structure. We started on just 2 chords to keep it simple. Tabs and Lyrics help growth. Sixth - if you don’t have a guitar in your hands when you are at home you aren’t into it. I practice while watching TV, just about anytime I sit down, and set aside 2–3 nights a week to play with the band. Play as much as possible, practice is needed to keep motor skills up, to clean up the sound. One of the keys if you create a band is this: All instruments have to be heard, just not at exactly the same moment. Too often guitarists who play alone tend to overplay in a band and play over other’s notes or passages. Less is more. To paraphrase Les Paul, it’s not how fast you play, it’s playing the right note at the right time. |

The guitar is one of the most popular instruments around, and it's easy to see why. Firstly, it's quite easy to get started, and once you've learnt a few basic chords, you can play literally hundreds of popular songs. Secondly, it's a great instrument for accompanying a singer, as even one guitar on its own gives a good backing sound to a song. Finally, although it may be relatively easy to get started with simple chords, it has almost limitless potential for advanced players - you literally never stop learning, and there are many impressive pieces you can learn to play in time. So if you want to learn how to play guitar, here are 5 tips to help you get started. 1. Get A Decent Guitar Obviously, the first thing you need is a guitar, or at least be able to borrow one to learn on. My first tip is that for learning, you should invest in a reasonable quality guitar. Really cheap guitars are usually a false economy. They can often have problems with their setup or tuning, and these can end up putting you off playing for good. Probably, more beginners are discouraged after trying to learn on a bad guitar than any other factor. This doesn't mean that you should go out and buy the most expensive guitar you can possibly afford either. It should be possible to find a reasonably priced quality model that will be good for learning on. The most important thing is it should stay in tune, and its 'action' (that means the height of the strings above the fretboard) should not be too high, otherwise it will feel difficult to hold down the strings properly. The other consideration is whether to get an acoustic or electric guitar. Acoustic guitars are generally good for learning, tend overall to be cheaper than electrics, and you don't have to worry about an amplifier. However, it really depends on the style of music you want to play. If you really want to play rock or metal guitar styles, you would be better off starting out with an electric guitar from the outset. There are many places to buy a guitar, and you can get some great deals on secondhand ones. A good place to start looking would be your local musical instrument store. They may stock second hand as well as new models, and can give you advice about tuning and caring for your guitar. If you know someone who can already play, take them along to help you choose. 2. Learn To Tune It Once you've got a reasonable quality guitar for learning on, one of the first things to do is learn how to tune the strings correctly. The most basic guitar chords will still sound good on a guitar if the strings are in tune. Played with the strings out of tune though, and they can sound awful, even if you're holding down all the right notes. The first step is to tune the topmost string (the top 'E' string). This can be set to the same note as a piano or keyboard (the note 'E' just above middle 'C'), an 'E' tuning fork, or the high note on a set of 'pitch pipes'. Play the tuning fork or piano note, then sound the top string on the guitar. If the notes sound different, use the tuning peg on the guitar for that top string to adjust the note up or down, as needed. Then, tune the second string ('B') to match the top one. Do this by playing the second string at the 5th fret, and then sounding the top string. Adjust the tuning peg for the second string until the notes sound the same (don't touch the tuning peg for the first string). The third string, 'G' is tuned by playing the note at the 4th fret on this string, which should match the note sounded by the second string. The remaining strings are tuned in the same way, by playing the note at the 5th fret on those strings, which should match the note sounded by the string above. Electronic tuners are also a real help when tuning, they show you exactly when a particular string is in tune. It's still worth learning the method above though, so you'll know how to tune your guitar if an electronic tuner isn't available. 3. Commit Time To Practicing It would be great if you could buy a guitar, then immediately start playing complex chords and solos on it. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen, as when you learn to play guitar, you have to put in some practise time regularly, first to learn the basics, then more complex techniques. When you first begin learning the guitar, it can all seem a bit overwhelming, and training your fingers to make the shape of a particular chord may seem difficult at first. However, by having several regular practise sessions each week, you will start to acquire the 'finger memory' needed to play chords without thinking, it will become automatic. 4. Learn A Few Basic Open Chords Well There are a few basic 'open' chords that you will learn when starting out. These are pretty much all formed within the first three frets on the guitar neck, and usually consist of the major chords E, A, D, C G, and maybe a couple of minor chords, like Am, Dm. If you spend the time learning to play these basic chords well, so that you can form the chord pattern quickly and easily with your left hand, and switch between them smoothly, then you will be able to play a large range of different songs with just these few chords. Even with just the 3 chords G, C and D, a lot of songs can be adapted to use just these chords. When learning, this is a great point to reach in your guitar playing. Most people I think, would give their reason for wanting to learn how to play guitar as 'to be able to play along with songs'. If you get to the point where you can play a few of these open chords in a regular rhythm, and switch between them reasonably quickly, you'll get a real buzz out of being able to play a few 'real' tunes, and will be motivated to carry on learning. You may find when learning that it takes a while to get to this point. For example, your fingers don't seem to form the chord patterns quickly enough, or you can play on one chord easily, but changing chords takes a while, and doesn't sound smooth. Don't despair! The key to overcoming this is regular practice, and slowing things right down until you can change chords at that speed. Then slowly increase the speed, and you'll find that the chord changes come a lot easier. A metronome is a good tool to use when practising like this, as it will keep ticking out the beat that you need to maintain when playing. 5. Use Video Lessons To Boost Your Progress The final tip here when learning how to play guitar, is to make the most of the wide range of video based guitar lessons that are out there these days. Nothing beats one-to-one lessons with your own personal instructor, but if that's not available to you, then video guitar lessons are the next best thing. And you can watch them over and over, making sure you understand each part. |
