Class captain thanks jare. Was at d clinic today. My doctor said my lo is doing well but might get big to abt 4kg at or before 40weeks from d way he seeing it o as at today its 3.6kg. That's y am concerned. So I can start taking d fruits.
I appreciate any contribution or advise from d house on what to do.

The increased rate and mortality resulting from vomiting and stooling is alarming. Mothers should improve on good hygiene practice for their children. When u go to pediatric wards in hositalsu see wat is happening there. Its becoming like an epidemic.. A colleague of mine stayed up to a week cos of stooling and vomiting. Luckily she acted promptly and took her child to d hospital immediately it started. D surprising part is its resistance to most antibiotics. We should also keep ORS and Zinc tablets handy at home. This should be given atleast before taking d child to clinic to help dehydration and restore electrolyte imbalance.

I don't know y d nurse told her not to talk milo. Although a my ealy stage I took lipton cos I have always been a liton fan but with plenty of milk and no sugar no much of a sugar geek At one of my ante natal we were advised not to take lipton alone but with milk. I would advise she takes wat she likes as long as its in moderation.
She should also try and take her routine drugs especially d folic acid and fesolate very important to her and baby.
So u too like pretty/ handsome baby. Who don fine don fine it isn't abt lipton use.

Sabi mamas help me out here please at our six weeks immunization my mum refused my son from being giving the PCV1 and ROTAVIRUS1 vaccines which are called "specials" and cost 7500 and 9500 respectively! We only took the penta which cost 250 naira!

Her reason was that they were unnecessary! And the nurses too didn't say much or try to convince me to allow my son take it.
I also observed some other mother's too that their LOs didn't receive the vaccinne!
Next Wednesday is our 10weeks rounds and I want to give my son the PCV2 and ROTAVIRUS2 should I or shouldn't I?
I googled it and saw that its a combo vaccine that protects a child against a number of diseases and I feel so bad that I didn't allow my son take its first dose. Will it still be effective since we missed the initial dosage?
And does it cost that much everywhere or is my hospitals price inflated? Please help a confused mum out please.
