For quite some tim now I've taken to being an observer, until now the senate is taking a bold step towards tackling the fundamental problem of Nigeria..."the military imposed constitution" in my candid opinion, these are some issues I will love to see the senate amended or passed into law:
1. The Petroleum Industry Bill
2. Amendment of revenue allocation bill(accommodating regional governance n state management of their resources).
3. The electoral Act.
4. The Judicial service commission and all bills concerning the Judiciary (to accommodate independence of the judiciary and remuneration directly disbursed to the commission frm MOF per annual budget).
5. The Nigerian Universities Commission (to allow direct transfer of Education Tax frm FIRS and granting full autonomy to Tertiary institutions.
6. Public/Civil Service Commission ( to accommodation discipline and retirement of civil servants: their benefits, pension and entitlements).
7. Privatization of railways to allow more private sector participation(at least corporate bodies can own and manage trains).
Etc...
