Public education and health care are heavily subsidised too in Nigeria.

We have had a lot of ineffective leaders, some of them may have been wicked. But we must never lose sight of the benefits we enjoy from the government.

The reason a number of these benefits are not visible is because of the attitude of an average government worker. Public primary, secondary school teachers and lecturers don't want to go to class; they will gang up and start exploiting the students. Most of the funds they take from you from primary school to the end of your first degree don't go to the government. Many of these teachers will rather go and set up another business while keeping the government jobs, the University lecturers will take up jobs in neighbouring private schools and starve the students admitted to the government schools. They come back and just fix classes whenever they feel like it.

Moreover medical practitioners in government owned hospitals have their own private clinics where they attend to people. Often times, they don't do their best in the government owned institutions before referring patients to their own.

Although many will argue that the cost of goods and services are surging and these folks need to meet up because of poor pay, but it should be noted that the same greed in the average Nigerian makes this happen. People are quick to raise the prices of goods and services as soon as they hear news, but will refuse to bring it down if circumstances change. Where forced to bring it down, they will mourn.

Unfortunately, if the government begins a crackdown on these unfortunate trend, many of us will come out to shout "anti-human practices" and make the government of the day unpopular. Eventually the sharks (other politicians waiting) will ride on the ignorance of the "masses" to get to power without any solid plan to put things in order.

I will conclude by saying this, you may not like the person in helms of affairs today, but take your time and look at the other side of his actions. Ask anyone coming out today what they will do if they should get elected in 2027. Things are tough right now because the economy was restarted and repositioned in my view. I believe the pains are in the short term, in the medium to long term, if we don't go back like we did with Yaradua when he had to reverse the sale of the refineries, things will improve. Regarding the cost of fuel et al, it won't matter if it becomes affordable. South Korean Won is just about the equivalent of the Naira, yet an average person can afford a quality life there.

So, I will talk about growing success of men and the hypergamous nature of women as key reasons many married men cheat.

Firstly, most men tend to get married at the beginning of their career and foray into wealth creation. As a result of this, they are usually very busy building their lives and climbing the success ladder. In fact, at times like these, many of them are religious, and are very committed to their partners. Significant part of their income goes into home upkeep. Nothing much is available for frivolities and they invest good portions of the little income left into personal development and emergency account. But as they have more disposal income, things tend to change as they can now afford to act on their wild desires.

In addition to the foregoing, most ladies in our society tend to get attracted to successful men, irrespective of their marital status. As husbands begin to have more and more disposable income, grow in their careers etc. they become more visible and attractive to most women. Since some of these men become managers, top leaders, captains of industries eventually, they have meetings outside of their usual places of residence and sometimes even have to go to such meetings with female colleagues and/or secretaries who have been looking for avenues to have amorous relationship with such men for various reasons. Men naturally find it difficult to resist what they see, particularly if it's the body aligns with his "specification".

As I conclude, rising disposable income plus the humongous drive of the female gender towards successful men are some of the major reasons males who have already tied the knots to cheat on their wives. It is important that married men understand that faithful wives deserve faithfulness as well, learn to be empathetic irrespective of their financial success and to create formidable boundaries against uncouth fellows.

Before accepting these politically motivated figures, we must ask:

1. What was the average number of business closures between 2019 and 2023?


2. How many new businesses, particularly indigenous ones, were established in the same period?

3. How many new companies have been registered in Nigeria over the same period (2023-2024)?


Credible data on the above will provide a clearer perspective rather than sensational claims.

As someone actively engaged with businesses in Nigeria, I can confidently say that the rate of company closures today is not as alarming as it was in past years. In fact, some previously struggling businesses have revived, and many new ones are emerging.

We must not allow politicians to manipulate us for their own interests. Prioritize your future and that of your children. Those like El-Rufai and others have secured their wealth and their children's futures using our national resources—don’t let them mislead you.

If President Tinubu is not performing well, the same people who criticized Jonathan in 2014-2015 for personal gain, these new hawks will not do any better. Many of these companies leaving Nigeria are leaving because of FX losses. Nigeria had been substituting the USD for them for years. They then repatriate the USD to their countries.

A student is denied a class of degree he or she merited and some other students and lecturer see it as normal. It gets worse when some of these students begin to condemn schools that award the appropriate classes of degree to deserving students. Some of these students tag these normal schools as being too easy failing to understand that they already started seeing and calling a misnormal what it isn't.

I had my first degree in UI, second in Unilag and currently in Covenant. The difference between the public schools and CU administratively is similar to the difference between light and darkness.

I believe the world exists in layers. Perhaps this is what many call dimensions. Some of these creatures exist in another layer even now, in my opinion. I remember an experience I had in 2005 when I was in school. I saw creatures like the ones here including a dwarf who commanded them. I believe it was very real because by the time I woke up, it was very noisy as the dogs were barking heavily.

Our current form is perhaps the weakest. It is limited by time and space. However, I noticed that even during an OBE, some layers still exist that are beyond what is visible even when out of body. Many married at 23 but didn't have their first child until the wife turned 45. Life is not a straight line. But when Christ is in your boat, though storms beats it, you are assured of safe landing.
