Omnisavage:I was in a similar situation and somebody here advised that I waited until I had complete funds. Get the funds upto the required amount. I will suggest that you take a loan and indicate that in your SOP. |
mzebbie:No. But from the submissions of those who have succeeded so far, it has posed to be a solid home tie. |
zxxtx:Visit any Primary Health care centre around you. Check https://nphcda.vaccination.gov.ng/vaccination-sites for more. |

tonnymexx:What do you do in your dad's shop? Do you manage it? Draw an employment letter and job description on a letterhead (create one if your dad's shop doesn't have one), back date your appointment to the time you started working there and include all details VO may need to see, ask your father to sign it. In the same way make an ID. How have you been receiving payment? I believe you get paid monthly through transfer. If yes, input the said amount in your employment letter. If your salary has changed over time, write a promotion letter detailing your new rank and new salary and allowances on your dad's company's letterhead. |
NgumimiT:Thank you. May you never be stranded. |
Learner247:Abeg I need answer to this. My Biometrics is yet to be uploaded to my profile, and I have not received any email from VFS as well. |
Helengirl:It is possible with IOM. I saw a few people who could not enroll online get scheduled at the IOM office in Ikeja on Monday, 28th March, 2022. |
Good day house. Please what am I supposed to do after Biometrics? I did my Biometrics yesterday, yet my profile still says Action required from me... |
Good evening House. I registered online for my medical examination at IOM for February 01, 2022 but didn't go because I was busy and hadn't submitted my application. I have been finding it difficult to reschedule. Is it possible to go there and get examined even if my appointment date has expired? Attention: makano and other veterans. |
orohbiro:You are a woman right, not a man. Hence you are not in a position to tell who a weak or strong man is. Ladies, you must stop targeting the psyche of these young men. You are controlling them and it is not right. To whether or not it is right to collect a gift, well it depends on the motive behind the gesture in the first place. If the guy bought it for you because he loves you, even when he breaks up with you he won't demand for it. But if he gave you the item because he felt you would end up together and you ended up going your separate ways, he may want to take it back from you. If I gave you a diamond ring I inherited from my mum because we agreed we would be together, why would I live it with you if we are no longer together.. No. The gift is meant to be transferred to the next generation. In view of the above, it is improper to make such hasty conclusions about another human being whom you have never been in his shoes. |

kingjizz:Sir, the heavens won't fall. But to be sincere at this material time in Nigeria, the country must not go into the wrong hands. Because I doubt if it will survive it again. We must therefore, be very objective and live campaign of calumny. Do you remember the Anambra state election? To be sincere if any of those 3 candidates won, Anambra would still be fine. We must get to that point in Nigeria, where it won't be a contest between incompetent, tribalistic and nepotic lots. People who feel it doesn't matter whether they have something to do or not. Tinubu is visionary, his methods sometimes could be funny, but in the circumstance he finds himself, he cannot be said to have failed. He was state governor and couldn't have fixed electricity but he created an enabling environment for businesses to grow in the state. Many of these touts could have been preventing people from sleeping at night by engaging in serious robberies. Since he didn't have control over the police or military, he identified their primary need: food. So, he created various avenues for them to get the food and put some of them in place to self-check their activities. While this can be very annoying sometimes, especially when we see how those guys act, it is better than having them in our homes at night raping women, beating husbands to death or carting away huge sums of money. Another angle to Tinubu is that he has eyes for talents and quite detribalized. if the Tinubu that was Lagos State governor rules Nigeria, I doubt if we will ever have an incompetent head again. Because a development plan would be developed that only competent people who have understanding would be elected to follow. However, with age sometimes, energy and capacities tend to dwindle. So, this may be a huge problem should Tinubu become president. Meanwhile we have a number of other competent hands, from Dave Umahi, Peter Obi, Yemi Osinbajo etc. The first person , Dave Umahi may be put in the position of Fashola - I doubt if Fashola has been able to replicate what he did in Lagos quite well across the country. Taking a cue from that, it may not be as easy managing Nigeria for this guy. Peter Obi on the other hand is one person I heard so much about and have listened to severally. He also seems to have large following. I respect his view of things, especially economics. I believe he also has eyes for talents and knows how to support candidates from behind without necessarily coming out as a godfather. Another huge upside for him is his age. The guy is still young. However, he is becoming too subservient to Atiku. Osinbajo on the other hand, though came in through a godfather, if he decides to contest today, he stops being a godson to Tinubu. He has demonstrated significant levels of competence, especially in letting us know how the rule of law can be made to address insecurity as well as promote economic growth and development. However, he may not interfere with future elections, either directly or indirectly. As such, an incompetent person may just come in and destroy some institutions I am certain an Osinbajo presidency would create especially if another corrupt national assembly is elected. So, it is important to view Nigeria's primary problems and consider those who may be able to effectively address it and keep her on a path of continued, steady growth and development. We must shun tribalism and campaign of calumny NOW else, we may not have a country in less than 4 years from now. |
Mossadd:Two wrongs never make a right man. Have some love in your heart. Understand that in the end, those people you are cursing and the one you declared blessed are birds of a feather. These guys probably have common interests: shed blood, make nations ungovernable all in a bid to test weapon, make money and intimidate others. Ask God to help the downtrodden instead. Peace! |
Jayphoenix45:It is just for now. You will be able to afford it soonest and this time it will be more fun because you will do it with your family. |
Many people think religion is the problem of Africa's underdevelopment. I do not agree! Significant number of the so called brainwashed people are miles ahead of those who claim to be wise intellectually and financially. Because a place of worship is built, hypocrites will rush out to talk about schools, research institutes, hospitals and so on. Though they know that the church is one of the largest employer of Labour in Nigeria today; so many schools, hospitals, research centres etc are built and run by these "religious" organisations. The Redeemer's University Molecular Genetics Centre in Ede is standing shoulder to shoulder with so many international Bioengineering centre around the world (do your finding); the breakthroughs currently being recorded in Agriculture in Landmark University, Kwara state is second to none in Nigeria (read around it) and one of the leaders in Africa; I had the opportunity to make a presentation recently in Lagos where some former Youth Corps members were honoured by the Lagos State government, one of the 3 was from Covenant University, as at the time he was invited for the award, he already left for Havard for PG studies, this guy demonstrated competence (a good combination of skill, knowledge and above board attitude), that was not the first time I will see graduates of that school doing exploits. The ongoing Ark project in Wimners' Canaanland was designed and being built by graduates from that school. His Love, a CSR department of RCCG has built hospitals in various locations in Nigeria, financed the dialysis of some indigent individuals who could not afford it, procured many dialysis machines and other medical facilities to even government hospitals around the country. Many of you are aware of the road construction and water supply projects executed by RCCG. The Roman Catholic Church is perhaps the leader in the act of charity from very many years back etc. All the above were done out of the bowel of mercy, from the depth of the understanding of what the Church teaches. May I also state that the church is the root of many solid network that some people have built today, including myself. In view of the above, we should begin to resist the urge to quickly castigate religion and the building of churches. Let's take responsibility, if the church or other religion can work, then businesses and governance can work as well. The question therefore is why are they not working? A harsh business environment, back breaking rates on business loans, insecure society, poorly conceived "exclusive list" etc. None of these are there because Obi Cubana and his team chose to build a place of worship in Oba in honour of his late mother. |
Bobomaigida:Thank you very much @Bobomaigida. |
matthew080:Write how you came about the money and attach objective evidence (a proof that is self explanatory and difficult to misunderstand). Example: N3m lump sum transferred to my account on 2021-11-21 was a proceed from a property I sold to support my study. Sales agreement/receipt is attached (see annex Bleep; appendix yyy etc for your review.) |
Learner247:House kindly respond to this please. |
opomulero:4 months. I believe yours can be longer if you refer to certain details which may not appear in a 4 months statement only. I will be submitting 1 year. |
Good day house. I intend to sponsor myself for my MBA program. I paid the deposit fee already, and got my LOA just 24th of Dec. I started putting money together late last month but still deployed some funds into building my office space here. So, at the moment, my MBA funds account only has a balance of about N5m. I have some contracts we are working on at the moment and will be completed by February and March, 2022 at this time I would get my balance (I have invoices, purchase order and signed contracts to validate all the above). I have personal assets: vehicles, built house, office equipment, other landed properties and fixed contracts that fetch funds annually (I have proof of all these). Now my question is this, do I go ahead and submit my application or do I just wait till say 1st week of February when I must have added significant cash value to the MBA programme savings fund? I am to resume in Summer. Attention: @makano et.,al Apologies for the long epistle pls. |
GeorgeTheCoder:If by religion, you mean the validity of God's existence and the truthfulness of Christ' prophecy (the testimony of Jesus), then I dare say that the discovery of Aliens would only further strengthen the truth of the scriptures. The group we call aliens have been there all along, the scriptures called them the invisible forms, since civilization had not reached there, Jesus called it ".. the world to come.." when he reprimanded the Pharisees for arrogating his miraculous works to the doing of the devil. May I also state clearly that the fact that you are getting to just know about something does not necessarily mean it just started existing. These forms have been there all along... Where do the demons live? How do they look? What about angels? Have you seen them before? These elements operate at speed faster than that of sunlight. With advancement in science and technology we will understand that the visible (to the unaided eyes) world is just a layer of existence at a significantly low vibration or energy level. Forms operating at higher vibrations can easily move across the so called planets. I'm a student of biological science, astrology and physics. Findings from all these have always further confirmed the scriptures to me. |
Ketima:We should just simplify these things. From the IRCC site: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/get-documents.html#doc3 - $10k is what a student needs per year if not schooling in Quebec. Then the flight and others (buying clothes etc), he doesn't need those funds to apply for Study permit. I think he only needed information on whether or not that amount would help him scale through the application process. |
Ketima:Where did you see this $3k extra on the $10k? Kindly share the link. Meanwhile, he said "self sponsor", and the said amount is after paying 1st Semester school fees. If he can demonstrate how he intends to fund the fees and living expenses for the second year, I think he should be fine with that amount. |
Op, can you mention any course you respect so much that when people study they have 100% chance of being successful? Also, please tell me one course that you have not seen anyone succeed with in life. You guys must understand that university degrees or certificates from higher institutions don't make a man; the mercy of God does! I studied Zoology in my 1st degree, I have a company that does things related to that, and another where I do something else. I also work as Head to Chemical Engineers, Chemist's, Industrial Chemists. Engineers from other departments, including Mechanical, Electrical and Civil come to ask for guidance from me from time to time. They call me Engineer, sometimes Doctor and others say Prof. We must always recognise that only GOD can make a man. Op, be open minded, work hard and be humble. NO MATTER WHAT YOU STUDIED, If God could make a donkey to talk, He can show you mercy and bring out gold from that your rejected stone. |
KillIgbohoN0W:I spoke from the position of a father because I am one and I know what it feels like to have your wards being bullied by some miscreants. Please no offence was intended against your father. |
KillIgbohoN0W:Naa, he could still have dealt with them. Weed and those nonsense are a front! He should have let them know he was coming from where they were going. |
eclint:Approval rate for applicants from Nigeria is below 12%. Applicants from countries with challenging economic, security and political situation have very slim chances of getting accepted. They are more likely to stay back after their studies. I mean, how many Nigerians have returned after their UG or PG education in Canada? |

Good day house. I'm pursuing an MBA to strengthen my knowledge and skill set to run my business professionally. I already got the conditional admission letter, but before I make payments.. I intend to sponsor myself with my company funds. Now, I have 2 company registrations: sole proprietorship and incorporated business: both have same names, only separated by LTD. We receive payments more into the sole proprietorship account, so I intend to use that account. My wife is the only director with me in the other company. Now my questions: Which is better, do I pay fees from my company account or transfer required funds to my personal account and claim personal sponsorship? Also, if I am paying with my sole proprietorship company account, I do not need a sponsorship letter since I own the business alone and have sole access to the funds. I do not also have an employment letter as the company bears my name. Would this raise any red flag? Or do I just state that I am sending myself for the programme, provide an employment letter from one company I work with like that, though the pay from those guys is really low and may not cover the needed expenses for the programme. But I could augment with evidence of professional valuation of my assets. I really hope to have provided sufficient information to elicit needed response from the kind members of this group. Thank you. |
