Politics › Re: What Nigerians Think About Tinubu's Second Term Endorsements by ledaman: 10:23am On May 23, 2025 |
CreativeOrbit: Don’t patronize me with that lazy “read again” nonsense. I read it just fine the first time—and what’s actually contradicting here is your ability to process what was said.
The man’s point was that governors and lawmakers are endorsing the president because he’s funneled more money their way—not because of national progress, not because of any transformative leadership, but because their pockets are heavier. That’s not a justification—it’s an indictment.
So when I call that out as corruption, not merit, you say I’m contradicting him? No—I’m exposing him. You’re just too comfortable with mediocrity and greed masquerading as governance to admit it.
Here’s the bottom line: if a president needs to grease the hands of governors and lawmakers with outrageous allocations just to earn their endorsement, that’s not democracy—that’s organized looting. And if you’re defending that, then don’t pretend you care about Nigeria. You're just defending a feeding trough because your favorite pigs are the ones eating.
Now go read that again—slowly this time. Calm down Brother. No one is happy with the stupid endorsement of him. They guy just buttresd why he got automatic endorsement. |
Politics › Re: What Nigerians Think About Tinubu's Second Term Endorsements by ledaman: 10:20am On May 23, 2025 |
CreativeOrbit: So let me get this straight—you're saying that because Tinubu has increased the personal benefits of governors and lawmakers, it justifies their endorsement of him for a second term? Are you even listening to yourself? Since when did self-serving greed become a benchmark for national leadership?
What you’re defending isn’t governance; it’s a transactional racket where public funds are weaponized to buy loyalty from the political elite, all at the expense of the people. Increased allocations to governors? A billion naira for each National Assembly member under the guise of "constituency projects"? Show us the impact. Where are the results? Or do you think Nigerians are too blind or too beaten down to question this blatant looting?
You say, “Who else should endorse him?” How about the Nigerian people? Or do they not count in your idea of democracy anymore?
And your lazy jab about voters not coming out—do you even care to ask why? Maybe it’s because people are sick of a political system rigged in favor of politicians who endorse each other while the country crumbles. Maybe it's because no matter who they vote for, they end up with leaders more loyal to their bank accounts than the citizens.
Now let me ask you—is this what you think a president should be doing? Using national resources to bribe the political class into backing him? Is that your idea of leadership? If so, then you’re part of the problem. You guys are almost on the same page. Just different routes. From what he wrote. The Governor's have gotten more than they bargained for interms of funds likewise the honourable members. So naturally they would endorsed him against the masses wishes. It's now left for the electorates to decide his fate to stand firm against election manipulation. |

JustcallmeFavou: I have read most of the replies here, and all I can say is that; most men here are broken, and haven't healed from whatever pain, or trauma a lady they once dated caused them in the past.
Inasmuch as, I would say women shouldn't generalized all men as being scums, I would also say that single men should not generalize all women as being the same.
We meet different people with different personalities and whatsoever else they are silently fighting that they often times don't talk about or heal from.
Hence, its paramount that each gender gets to treat each other based on the present, not based on how another person has once treated them in past relationships.
This way, one doesn't loose or miss out on someone who could have been their soulmate, or a destined partner.
It's true that some men are demons, and that some women will help you see shege and won't care. But if one keeps treating every lady or guy that comes along based on past experiences or hurt, then the rate of divorce in the next 5/10 years will be way higher than now with no love, loyalty, commitment, or true friendship. Almighty God will perfect your knowledge. |

Ruke1991: It's not about brokenness As a simp (what you call big boy), giving gifts undeservingly to random ladies to win their love means you contribute to the growth of the population of entitled ladies in the society. That attitude of trying to buy love also smacks of low self esteem. Get my point, only broke guys would complaints about money spent on ladies. And moreover, big boys don't date low class babe's. |

Ruke1991: Buying expensive things for any woman or throwing cash at them is the biggest mistake any man can make in this life or in the life after. Allow women to struggle and pay their personal bills alone, so that the stress can help them break the follow-come coconut in their brain. Until that coconut is broken, women cannot know the dignity of labour and their brain can never be useful I disagree with your ascertion. I don't regret buying expensive gift for the mother of my wonderful kids. She deserved more than gift. Moreover, only broke guys complaints about gift given to ladies. Big boys just smile and move on. Cest fini |

Politics › Re: Vatican Security Blocks Seyi Tinubu From Approaching Pope Leo by ledaman: 2:21pm On May 19, 2025 |
malali: Seyi Tinubu’s recent escapades amount to a grotesque parody of power—a civilian prince without a crown, meddling in matters far above his station. Let it be clear: he holds no constitutional office, no electoral mandate, and no moral license to parade through state functions like Nigeria is some inherited fiefdom.
His repeated breaches of protocol, flamboyant insertions into state affairs, and unchecked gall are not only insulting to the dignity of the Nigerian presidency—they are corrosive to democratic optics at home and abroad.
This is a republic, not a royal dynasty. Nigeria does not recognize heirs to the presidential throne.
If he wishes to serve, let him run for office like every other Nigerian citizen, not gallop through the corridors of power on the coattails of nepotism. His father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, must rein him in—not tomorrow, but now—before these childish indulgences metastasize into a national embarrassment.
Nigeria deserves leadership, not lineage. Let that be understood—loudly, clearly, and constitutionally.
Trump just finished an official tour of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE....Not one picture or video had any of his Sons in it. When there are no checks and balances what do you expect? |
The Islamization agenda is dead. Tinubu is not an ethnic bigot, he belongs to everyone. Muslims, Christians, Catholics, Pagans, Atheist, Non-theist etc, Mr. President is willing and ready to support every one irrespective of religious persuasion.
The same man you guys campaigned against that he would turned Nigeria to Muslim Nation. The benefiarcy of this government are Christians despite their votes against him. |
