Kukutenla: Oh now the guilt tripping start. The defeatist syndrome steps in once again. It was you that claimed “Legendhero is a tribalist for creating a Nolywood thread in politics section”. You started it and not me. It’s this looking for trouble, then when stuff hit the fan, activating victim syndrome that amaze me. Worry about your life and stop worrying about how I live my life wherever I am. Lastly, as I have known you are from the hate side, it will influence how I engage you going forward with respect to intellectual discourse, that’s IF I even engage you henceforth. Bendeco2020: Lol if Obi have half the balls of Tinubu, he would have been bold to declare “Emilokan” and go all out for it. Tinubu begged Buhari lol? Same guy that dragged Buhari name in the mud in the Ogun Emilokan speech. Buhari sukun lori television, you think say that word na play? If any Ibo politician is half as bold as Tinubu, maybe they wouldn’t have been going around crying like babies since 1979 that “Please let us rule”, “ they are marginalizing us” and bla bla bla. Two tribe have shown courage in politics, those are only Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Gbogbowa: Reno could be small, but that guy can damage things. He singlehandedly pushed the “Tinubu is sick” rhetorics and caused great damage to Tinubu image in the last election. Obi team should find a solution to him. Remember Obi himself have no track achievements, most of the things attributed to him is just mere propaganda by obedients. So Reno is now using same propaganda and half-truth to fight him, so you would be so ignorant, if you think Reno strategy don’t work. 25 Likes |

Odin13: We heard more than this nonsense in 2023. Delusion is free my brother. If I were you too, I will console myself with lies to make me feel happy. There are only two major tribes in Nigeria and they are the only ones that can win a national election, Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani. Any other minority will rather be by chance (Goodluck situation) or when one of Yoruba or Hausa/Fulani agrees that we support this minority. Until then, Obi can go to Makkah to donate borehole to them, he can even go and climb Arafah mountain, it still won’t change his “minority” destiny. 24 Likes 1 Share |

Usonkwu: Bro, don’t buy that lies. Obi Next International business in the UK is not worth 50k pounds as at when he closed it down, so where exactly did he saw million $ to invest in Pandora offshore. UK record for his companies are publicly available so Obi can’t even attempt any nonsense lies. Obi is a thief who stole Anambra dry while his Obedient try to launder his image. If the Pandora offshore is legit, you think he will keep it off the radar from everyone before it got bursted? Obi that always likes making reference to what he did, China, and his business, how many times have you seen him brag with his offshore loots? 113 Likes 4 Shares |

Odin13: Asgard my guy. Anytime I remember your “Tinubu must contest” chant last year, I always laugh hard. Yoruba people are the only majority tribe from the South. It is only a majority tribe that can say “Emilokan” in a multi-tribal Nigeria and still go ahead to win the election. Obi is from a minority tribe, he can’t win a national election. I will be sad too if I am a Peter Obi supporter. 24 Likes 1 Share |

Kukutenla: I still don’t understand you. How does the above question relate to “tribalism”. Until today, I have always thought you are Yoruba. That’s why I engage you civil because I remember I once asked you and you dodge the question. Kukutenla to me in Yoruba could mean big-short man. Like an oxymoron. But your victim mentality can only point that you ain’t Yoruba. If I get to know you are Ibo, I will change how I engage with you because I now understand where your bitterness stem from. How does creating a topic in politics section make one a tribalist? 1 Like |

Bulldozer90: Now I see you don’t know what you are talking about. There are two things involved, “volume” and “actual revenue”. —Before Nigeria broke into the international scene, people back home go to shows and buy their albums. Infact our artist visit universities to hold shows back then and they are being patronized. Even till today, Nigerians still patronize Nigeria music. Just that it is volume and not neccessarily as profitable as them doing it in diaspora. —What changed was when afrobeat crossed the continent. Nigerians/Africans in diaspora with better purchasing power gave the artist the means to realize mad revenue because of the show money they charge in foreign currency. @the bolded, I now confirm you don’t know what you are saying. Most black Americans here love Afrobeat like mad. Infact the last time Davido was in Atlanta at State Farm arena. The over 18k capacity got sold out completely. Below is my ticket to the venue and average price is $100 upward (multiply 18000*$100). You think na only Nigeria fully the 18k capacity? You are probably an unexposed guy which explain why can can say this. What is called grassroot Nollywood? How much can you make from those useless movies? I even thought I’m arguing with someone wey sabi business and entertainment industry.

author=Bulldozer90 post=129647083] Lol he said Nigeria market. Don’t they post those movies on Netflix global? You think only Nigerians living in Nigeria watch them? You don’t understand the business. Most Nigeria entertainment industries (Music and Movies) get their patronage from Nigerians in diaspora. Now I’m not talking about volume but actual money. Take Afro beats for example, all those shows and mad money artist make are due to Nigeria population in diaspora. If Wizkid do 100 show in Lagos, he will make more money than that by only doing one show in Atlanta. Netflix/Prime usually appeal more to Nigerians/Africans in diaspora. Those are the people pushing the numbers up. We pray Nigeria get to the level where we have high purchasing power in the country. But for now, diaspora people are part of the huge numbers. Also, YouTube is the destination that most Nigeria producers make money for those Nollywood Yoruba/asaba. 2 Likes |

ednut1: Bad belle no dey ever think straight. The rating of Anikulapo peaked everywhere so few people saying they don’t like it does not imply that the first “is trash” or “waste of time”. No movie for this life where you no go see one or two people say trash about. But what is objective is using the overall rating. Anyone that says Anikulapo is trash overall among Nigeria movie of 2024 is either hating or having brain issues. 4 Likes |

Yes that’s what he said on video by himself. But as usual, several media house have different interpretations of his statement. —Truly, the minimum wage of any Lagos civil servant is N70k if you add the 35k to the additional wage of 35k Sanwo is paying. However, this is only applicable to those at the minimum level. Lowest level worker in the civil service. —For workers earning above minimum wage, they only have additional 35k wage award added to their current salary and no adjustment increase with respect to minimum wage. 23 Likes 1 Share |
