You see why I said you are a tribal jingoist? What does my question have to do with my tribe? People who generally look at everything through the narrow prism of tribe are a danger to society and it is ironic that someone who lives in a foreign land where his likes were once slaves and downtrodden would cling so tightly to tribalism as an instrument of social engagement.
Do you mean to imply if you meet an Ibo man on the streets of Atlanta, you will relate with him differently from how you will relate with a Latin American? And you really believe you deserve better treatment from the American system than those meted out to Blacks in the years of slavery and segregation?
I'm sure you knew what you were fishing for when you brought the topic here. It is not about bitterness or joy or enlightenment but tribal supremacy which drives your energy in such direction. If not, you've been on NL enough to know where this otherwise informative piece belongs but you soiled it like the proverbial finger dipped in palm oil.
Pity

Oh now the guilt tripping start. The defeatist syndrome steps in once again.

It was you that claimed “Legendhero is a tribalist for creating a Nolywood thread in politics section”. You started it and not me.

It’s this looking for trouble, then when stuff hit the fan, activating victim syndrome that amaze me.

Worry about your life and stop worrying about how I live my life wherever I am.

Lastly, as I have known you are from the hate side, it will influence how I engage you going forward with respect to intellectual discourse, that’s IF I even engage you henceforth.

Have a nice day Shinedu!

You see all this things are easy..
you can always call your politician friends to confirm what’s happening in the entire Arewa politically..

... and not just hear say from Odin ..

You can still contact those Apc party chairmen in the states to update you

Twice northerners in Tinubu Government came to rubbish NEF and the so called 5 northern element in the north

That’s minister of defense and
National security adviser

Two core northerners holding sensitive security post in the government

Sen Abu was nearly rubbished by Gbaja who was pushing off northerners from Tinubu Government .. till Ahmed bola advise him and address it

The northern Apc cabal cacus in Tinubu Government don’t go through gbaja to get to Tinubu again .. they rather go through Sen Abu

Make your finding bro

Intelligent information is free .. I believe you and I believe you have the reach to get to anybody in this Government

Is a Yoruba Government and they’re in power .. and partly in charge till maybe if he succeeds with 2027.. they will be properly in charge

We heard more than this in 2023, no one give a bleep about your delusion.

We have seen lot of delusion from last election such that anyone that tries to argue logically with an obedient deserve to be admitted to yaba left.

Anything you say, I agree coz of the adage Were dun wo, ko se bi lomo.

Coward just want to feal among.

Just say that your god can only hide under fulani/hausa to contest and win presidency.

He should have contested via ACN as Obi did with small labor party.

After begging Buhari with his family members, his tribe's men are now bragging.

Lol if Obi have half the balls of Tinubu, he would have been bold to declare “Emilokan” and go all out for it.

Tinubu begged Buhari lol? Same guy that dragged Buhari name in the mud in the Ogun Emilokan speech. Buhari sukun lori television, you think say that word na play?

If any Ibo politician is half as bold as Tinubu, maybe they wouldn’t have been going around crying like babies since 1979 that “Please let us rule”, “ they are marginalizing us” and bla bla bla.

Two tribe have shown courage in politics, those are only Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani.

Reno could be small, but that guy can damage things.

He singlehandedly pushed the “Tinubu is sick” rhetorics and caused great damage to Tinubu image in the last election.

Obi team should find a solution to him. Remember Obi himself have no track achievements, most of the things attributed to him is just mere propaganda by obedients. So Reno is now using same propaganda and half-truth to fight him, so you would be so ignorant, if you think Reno strategy don’t work.

.. Yoruba are not the largest tribe in the south .. maybe in a concentrated western region.. Igbos are majority tribe in south .. maybe you check and confirm update yourself

What am tryin to say .. Obi is daily made popular in the north ..
nassarawa benue pleatue kaduna will give Obi Bloch vote if election is to be conducted tomorrow morning aside the south and east..

Obi only need a strong and popular Islamic Muslim politician that will gurrantee and protect interest and his ready to go.. reason he’s always in north and is paying off ..
No jokes

I personally won’t like to see Obi’s presidency’s .. for reason best know to me

But reality is taking shape small small

Elections are not won on social media and Obi learnt that very late ..

Listen
If there’s no pressure on Apc Tinubu

All this noise from Reno and and Apc propagandist won’t be needed

Why dem no Dey push am against Atiku?

Why
Because they already know Atiku is not an option for now

Till 2031.. if they North still wish him..

Atiku remains my post

Am only taking this things easy on social media because of Alhaji Senator Abu.. my close friend and a very confidential friend to Ahmed Tinubu

Sen Abu just came into the country two days back..

We heard more than this nonsense in 2023. Delusion is free my brother.

If I were you too, I will console myself with lies to make me feel happy.

There are only two major tribes in Nigeria and they are the only ones that can win a national election, Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani. Any other minority will rather be by chance (Goodluck situation) or when one of Yoruba or Hausa/Fulani agrees that we support this minority.

Until then, Obi can go to Makkah to donate borehole to them, he can even go and climb Arafah mountain, it still won’t change his “minority” destiny.

UK record for his companies are publicly available so Obi can’t even attempt any nonsense lies.

Obi is a thief who stole Anambra dry while his Obedient try to launder his image. If the Pandora offshore is legit, you think he will keep it off the radar from everyone before it got bursted?

Obi that always likes making reference to what he did, China, and his business, how many times have you seen him brag with his offshore loots?

Asgard my guy.

Anytime I remember your “Tinubu must contest” chant last year, I always laugh hard.

Yoruba people are the only majority tribe from the South. It is only a majority tribe that can say “Emilokan” in a multi-tribal Nigeria and still go ahead to win the election.

Obi is from a minority tribe, he can’t win a national election. I will be sad too if I am a Peter Obi supporter.

No. It simply means that Nigerian have no music industry. Music shows in US count In US GDP not Nigeria. The crappy songs they sing and call afro beat don't inspire people to spend money on. Even their headdies is done in US. The crap they release is only for people who can afford luxury. That's why the Nigerians in diaspora are the only ones patronising them. Gospel musician make more money from the Nigerian market than Afro beat.

I always say it. The only industry making money for the country is Nollywood. Unfortunately, not the noisy Netflix and cinema nollywood. Most nollywood movies are patronised abroad including YouTube movies. But grassroot nollywood is heavily patronised in Nigeria and Africa unlike Netflix and cinema movies that are more noisy than profitable.

Now I see you don’t know what you are talking about. There are two things involved, “volume” and “actual revenue”.

—Before Nigeria broke into the international scene, people back home go to shows and buy their albums. Infact our artist visit universities to hold shows back then and they are being patronized. Even till today, Nigerians still patronize Nigeria music. Just that it is volume and not neccessarily as profitable as them doing it in diaspora.

—What changed was when afrobeat crossed the continent. Nigerians/Africans in diaspora with better purchasing power gave the artist the means to realize mad revenue because of the show money they charge in foreign currency.

@the bolded, I now confirm you don’t know what you are saying. Most black Americans here love Afrobeat like mad. Infact the last time Davido was in Atlanta at State Farm arena. The over 18k capacity got sold out completely. Below is my ticket to the venue and average price is $100 upward (multiply 18000*$100). You think na only Nigeria fully the 18k capacity? You are probably an unexposed guy which explain why can can say this.

What is called grassroot Nollywood? How much can you make from those useless movies? I even thought I’m arguing with someone wey sabi business and entertainment industry.

We talking about their profit in the Nigerian market and you are posting me global profit.

Netflix came to Nigeria with grassroot nollywood in mind. That was why they acquired lionheart. But it's not clear whether Igbo producers in Asaba Enugu and Lagos are interested based on profitability issues. Today, 98% of Nollywood fans don't even have neflix account. Amazon prime discovered that early and left before making commitments.

They should all learn from canal plus who acquired iroko and allowed Njoku to run it. Today, ROK has overtaken African Magic in viewership to the extent that the company wants to acquire DSTV itself.

Lol he said Nigeria market. Don’t they post those movies on Netflix global? You think only Nigerians living in Nigeria watch them?

You don’t understand the business. Most Nigeria entertainment industries (Music and Movies) get their patronage from Nigerians in diaspora. Now I’m not talking about volume but actual money.

Take Afro beats for example, all those shows and mad money artist make are due to Nigeria population in diaspora. If Wizkid do 100 show in Lagos, he will make more money than that by only doing one show in Atlanta.

Netflix/Prime usually appeal more to Nigerians/Africans in diaspora. Those are the people pushing the numbers up. We pray Nigeria get to the level where we have high purchasing power in the country. But for now, diaspora people are part of the huge numbers.

Also, YouTube is the destination that most Nigeria producers make money for those Nollywood Yoruba/asaba.

In the film industry, Igbos wanna make money so they make LOTS of small movies. Its all about quantity by small time producers to make money

You mean Ibos are competing with Ibibio people on the list?

How can you compete with Yoruba when the only Ibo movie that made the top 10 was directed by a Yoruba man?

First try to outcompete the Ibibios on the list first, then we can talk.

Yes that’s what he said on video by himself. But as usual, several media house have different interpretations of his statement.

—Truly, the minimum wage of any Lagos civil servant is N70k if you add the 35k to the additional wage of 35k Sanwo is paying. However, this is only applicable to those at the minimum level. Lowest level worker in the civil service.

—For workers earning above minimum wage, they only have additional 35k wage award added to their current salary and no adjustment increase with respect to minimum wage.
