You don't even need formal education to possess high IQ. They don't know anything. grin

Don’t mind that one.

Most early philosophers did not even pass through normal school and yet through observation and brainpower, they could predict stuffs accurately.

So you swallowed the lie he made up there?

Dollar was 88 naira as at 1998. Kids everywhere with phone😂

This is from the USA government website.

Official rate in 1998 is 22 naira to the USD.

I usually argue from a position of knowledge.

If you know the meaning of IQ, you won't be asking this stupid question. Am I surprised about this useless question? Hell No

It’s intelligence quotient.

You could be German or Italian and still have a good IQ. So IQ is designed to be naturally independent of a particular language.

It’s basically testing your cognitive skills, logical decision, mathematical reasoning, and spatial awareness.

While you can argue that you need language to interpret your ideas, you don’t need to speak queens English to have a higher IQ.

You see why I said our conversation keeps reducing my IQ?

Mike Adenuga na legend!

—Came into the market and instantly crashed the price of SIM cards
—Before Glo, they used to say back then that per seconds billing is impossible for the next 10 years. Glo demolish that and initiated the per seconds billing that revolutionized the industry.

When people use MTN/Airtel with claim that they have better network, you will never see Glo crying or Yorubas saying Nigeria hate them for not patronizing Glo.

It is business and while the government should step in to promote local industries, people shouldn’t do it using emotional blackmail.

Born liar.

You need to use the current rate to calculate and not the rate of last month.

During PDP era, there are fluctuations too but we used the last rate when they left power.

So why do you choose to use the rate of last month that we already got over? Are you trying to be clever by half?

Don't mind the enemy of Nigeria.

He's happy that Naira climbed to 1900 from 216 in a space of 9years of APC. Imagine the most evil party PDP as they say, for 13 years kept Naira at 216 from 28 naira.

Your attempt at sarcasm failed because you don’t understand basic arithmetic.

—PDP did almost 8x
—APC as at now are still 6x

You either condemn both or applaud both. You can’t use selective appraisal.

So because of that, APC crashed it and made it worthless by taking it to 1900 to a dollar

Oga, dollar to naira rate cannot be constant for 16 years straight in a country like Nigeria. Stop setting too much high expectation.

We need to produce at a rate not seen before to be even able to go head to head with the USD. Or maybe we should defend the naira with all the resources we have to keep it down to make you happy.

At some point, naira had more value than $$ until it started the downward trend. PDP almost did 8x increase.

Kudos to Yemi Cardoso.

According to Bloomberg, Naira is the best performing currency in the world for the month of April.

Cardoso should fire on until it comes to a record low. Wale Edun should step up his game on the fiscal side too to complement the monetary side.

To the saboteurs who are shouting “Keep your dollar close”, you will suffer for 1000 years when that dollar in your hand become worthless because the value has decrease 100% of what you got it.

Do you know Glo story? Glo was the first guys that crashed sim prices.

Before Glo came, MTN sold at ridiculous prices before Glo crashed the prices totally.

But you never questioned the veracity of that news when you made the below statements on that thread, so what changed.

Whether part or entire, it's still his property

Bro check my last sentence on the post you quoted. I even posted the letter there.

Thats to tell you I know what I’m saying from the start. It’s nothing different from what Umahi just said.

is the letter sent to landmark beach, they only require 50m of the facilities for the right of way. Not like the government is demolishing everything. Mind you, they ain’t the only one, there are some other investments impacted.

GLO just have to improve on their network coverage. Some areas have poor network coverage and low speed. When GLO offer same or a better quality service, you'll witness the paradigm shift.

So you think the comfort that comes with using Emirate airline is the same as that of Airpeace?

Abi you think Innoson cars are more standard than Toyota. Why then do you guys scream Innoson daily?

So if Airpeace sells for $200 for example and Emirate sells for $150, why are you guys saying I should board Airpeace for patriotism?

This word you just said will be tagged Igbo hate if Igbo were to be the owner of Glo. But you see Yorubas don’t get emotional when you abuse Glo, because we understand it’s business.

You can’t choose when to be patriotic, you can’t be patriotic only when it benefits you!

Are you implying that the landmark resort owner lied on an international media house like CNN

He did not lie, but he laced his talk with little propaganda.

Let me give you an example.

If I have a property of 250m, and the government come and say “I need to use 50m” from this, which of the below statement is true.

—Oh government want to demolish my property
—Oh government want to demolish “part” of my property.

So landmark used the first one.

I clearly understand what you are saying..

But some of these people literally said it should be destroyed for the road...

I don’t think anybody said so. People are just agitated about this constant everyday emotional blackmail. Which was why they said if the property did obstruct the chances of that Coastal highway, then it had to go.

This is the letter that was sent to another person with property along that route. You can see that FG only intend 50m from there and 100m when it gets to Lekki area.

This same letter will be sent to Landmark.

Are you saying that it's the children of perdition issued a notice of demolition of the $200 Landmark Beach Resort, saying the property obstructs the planned route of the 700-kilometer coastal road project. Not just that, also a notice to vacate his multimillion-dollar beach resort within seven days for its impending demolition.

Show us the demolition notice where the they mentioned in it that they would demolish all his property.

From the previous thread, i knew everything about Landmark was exaggerated, all the figures were exaggerated to cury public sympathy and blackmail the government. And that seems to be the tool of our neigbours from across the other side. The project will go on and Landmark would no longer have direct acess to the beach.

100% correct.

It’s just all emotional blackmail they are known for. Nothing is different even from this Umahi statement. The 50m will still be used from the place and that is the exact same thing that was said before.

No rather it is the children of perdition that can’t read that should be ashamed.

Umahi said nothing new. Even in the letter sent by the Lagos state government showed that it is 50m that is needed from it.

People just emotionally blow it out of proportion. There was never a time where they said they would demolish all his property along that axis. If you have the proof, bring that.

Tsefini. Umahi don talk am.

From Umahi statement self, the FG have right to 250m from the shoreline.

“What could be lost is the shoreline and the people that go to play at the shoreline. His facilities will be intact because we reduced the corridor by 50 metres.

“I saw that there’s no permanent structure other than a few shanties along the shoreline that are affected. I told him that no job would be lost, and he agreed with me,” he said.

The minister further stated, “Who owns the land is not supposed to be my problem, but the Federal Government (FG), by the Waterways Act and the recent Supreme Court judgement, gave the right of ownership of the shoreline to FG. 250 metres from the point of the shoreline, which means it belongs to FG.

“However, we’re interested here because it’s an investment, and we’re happy with it. We are taking 50 metres of that shoreline, and it’s irrevocable. I also told him if he’s interested in the waterways, he should create one on top.”
