Make sense... go and do your part... but never discredit the love people have for this job... last screening I met one of my seniors from academy... when we resumed 62, he was already in his 3rd term... how he reduced his age to fall into ssc age range I don’t know... He was withdrawn 1 month to pop on drug charges.. he thought they had finally seen peace not knowing that somebody would snitch on him.. but mans is still trying to enter.. no other life fits them.. no other thing makes sense... it’s the army or nothing for them.. if you were 2nd batch for screening, you’d have heard that some candidates fought some efcc cadets.. it was us.. Cos even me I could take what any body says to me but that my senior couldn’t.. when he was in academy, they were still in primary school.. it was a fight that the rsm cane to break up..

This is for all those who feel the army is an avenue for wearing starched khaki...lol... I had a conservation with my friend today who is in the Air force currently in Maiduguri for jointed operations with the army. I just feel we should all know what we are getting ourselves into.

it was the easiest for ssc and a little easy for dssc
Dssc screening was deep deep inside taraba state in serti... people couldn’t go so serti is faaaaaaar but peripheral still went sha.. ssc.. my state only had 18 turnups out of 30... some states had 2 people report for screening... some 5 candidates... army had to start sending out messages while we were there asking people to come for screening.. inviting new people etc..

Chai see cruising that year!!!... So Te them convert my guy from dssc to SSC

Those that get dropped during medicals and still make the list are people that have minor issues... you can’t be diagnosed with heart papitation or cardiomegaly and still make any list... you don’t need to be told that such person would most definitely die during course of training... so it’s people that have little issues like teeth, height etc...

Bitter Truth, some don't even go through that screening, some get dropped before Medical and still make final list. Some people name no go even de first shortlist but you'll see their name for final shortlist

Gentlemen, incorporate planking and hunching into your daily workout... try and start atleast 30 hunches and build up from there...hunching is your everyday life in academy...I remember major ango saying that they ask efcc cadets to do nothing less than 2000 hunches and how that’s not even the standard for army cadets... get ready!

The same way he perceived you as I too know and exaggerating things is actually what some people need including I as a person, he should have ignored your former post if it ain't made for him, I know so many people enjoy that your particular personality he perceives as being bad to him. I get issue with that primary school certificate, the public school I attend doesn't issue it again and I tried persuade the HM the last time I went, she said that is all they issue that it stand as certificate, immediately I contacted an officer, he said it is the same that I can use the one I get too, but coming here, a very senior colleague who have been to the screening twice or so was saying it disqualified. I'm confused sef

Please I need clarification on some issues from the seniors here..
(1). I have a WAEC cert from 2012 and I want to apply for SSC, age is not a barrier for me, hope it is okay to upload it?
(2). My Bsc cert is not ready according to my school, since I finished 2 yrs ago (2018 Feb) so I only have my statement of result(duly signed and stamped by the registrar) can I still apply with it? *Although I am currently processing the Bsc cert but due to Covid-19 it's been difficult to progress.
(3). Please what does fslc mean, because I have a primary school testimonial that reads the date I started and finished? Is it different from fslc?

1..yes it is okay to upload

2. It is okay to use... If u eventually get the certificate fine, if u couldn't fine

3..if u can, plz get the primary Sch certificate, try your school or state ministry of education

If u no later get am, use the one way u get... Some of those minor things. Grace fit make them overlook am

I'm one of the Loyal silent observers of this thread for about Four Years now and I've learned alot and grew lot of Passion for NA.

I've got questions that I'll be glad if it is answered (experience can be cited)

1...Is there chance that the NYSC discharge Certificate is overlooked during screening or even eventual training ( I've got a friend that made the last two course, dude wasn't done serving NYSC then, and he was shortlisted, he made it pass screening,and to training even POP. when I asked how far, dude gave me that normal ''na God do am OH'' line ...as if na devil de do am before ),imagine LOL

I don't want to mention the course for security reasons

Even though I know it's a strong criteria ,plz I'll like to know if there's chance it is waived without strong connect either for MS or screening ground

2. I've Got a visible brown plaque (like burnt not up to 1/4 of the tooth) on my front tooth
Not cracked, not broken, Not painful, not even when hit
Do u think that's a challenge that can lead to disqualification?
