I wouldn't say this though because brand are now bringing quality to their budget and mid-range phones. So if you walk into a phone shop you will certainly see a good and quality phone for your budget |

Phones › Re: Smartphone Choices In Nigeria – What’s Your Take? by Leilalee: 10:27pm On Oct 26, 2025 |
Khay2: Right? It’s like the line between flagship and midrange is fading fast. Now it’s more about brand preference and small extras like camera tuning or charging speed. It’s getting harder to justify spending double just for a “flagship” tag. 😅 likeee😂 the way mid-rangers are posing now someone will think it's a flagship phone. Phone brand really touch up in that aspect |
Phones › Re: Smartphone Choices In Nigeria – What’s Your Take? by Leilalee: 10:25pm On Oct 26, 2025 |
Khay2: Tecno’s been in the game for long, but realme is already catching attention with how much value they pack into their phones. Competition’s about to get interesting.😌 they are both good brands that I can boldly recommend to anybody |

Jesutooni: I don't think my phone's are the cause of my data consumption. Yesterday I watched United's game and saw that I used 4gb. Na mtn If I try on my realme or Tecno I go still use that 4gb on top 90 mins wey i stream I've not really had an experience with this so I may not know, might be that I've not noticed yet sef |

Phones › What’s Peculiar About The realmenote60x? by Leilalee(op): 9:46pm On Oct 26, 2025 |
realme has been quietly dropping phones lately, and one that’s caught attention is the realme Note 60x a budget phone that’s actually a bit peculiar. Let’s break down what makes it stand out (and what doesn’t).
A Budget Phone That Feels like a Mid-ranger; At first glance, you’d think the Note 60x costs way more than it does. It comes with: A 6.74-inch 90 Hz display (most phones in this range are still on 60 Hz). 180 Hz touch sampling – makes scrolling and swiping feel smoother. Slim design (7.8 mm thick) despite a 5000 mAh battery. So yeah, it looks sleek and moves smooth.
The Build Quality Is Surprisingly Tough; realme calls it an ArmorShell design with a die-cast aluminium frame. Add IP54 splash resistance, and you’ve got one of the most durable entry-level phones in 2025. Most phones around this price still use plain plastic bodies so this one stands out.
Storage Options That Make Sense; It supports up to 2 TB expandable storage via microSD card. That’s wild for a budget phone most people won’t ever hit that limit, but it’s nice to know you can.
The Peculiar Parts (Trade-offs); Of course, it’s not all roses. Some specs remind you it’s still a budget device: Only HD+ resolution (720p) – not as crisp as 1080p screens. 8MP rear + 5MP front camera – okay for daylight, not great at night. No 5G, just 4G. 10W charging – takes its sweet time to fill that 5000 mAh battery. If you’re used to fast-charging or better cameras, you’ll feel it.
Who It’s For; I feel it's ideal for people that want a budget phone with okay specs, wants a durable, stylish budget phone. Prioritizes smooth scrolling and battery life over camera/5G speed. Needs a solid daily driver that doesn’t look or feel cheap.
It got me thinking how their flagship will be if their mid-ranger and budget phones are already this good
