I think am suffering from this sickness because am usually weak in my joint and feel numb most times i really need to know if there is treatment in nigeria for Fibromyalgia. After enough research online am thinking i need to go for a test for Fibromyalgia in our hospital here in my school but i don'nt know if many doctors in Nigeria know about Fibromyalgia. ABUJA-AHEAD of 2015 presidential election, Adamawa stakeholders in Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said Wednesday, that only the Supreme Court can determine whether or not President Goodluck has the right to run for the presidential election.
According to the PDP stakeholders, if President Jonathan contests for another term of four years in 2015 and gets the position, he will have then succeeded himself in office as President for a cumulative period of nine years 23 days, against the constitutional provision of eight years.
The PDP stakeholders, who warned that PDP must be careful not to play into the hands of the opposition, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Peoples Democratic Movement, PDM and others, stressed that those currently pushing for Jonathan's Presidency come 2015 on the basis of ethnicity or religion as a yardstick for their support for him, were not doing him or the polity any good.
In a statement signed by former governorship aspirant, Dr. Umar Ardo, the stakeholders said: "It has the tendency of alienating other ethnic and religious groups against the President. How then does that help the cause of the PDP and the President, seeing that the alienated groups are by far in the majority?

"The President needs the majority, and not the minority, to win his elections. With all due apologies to the Governors Forum, let it be always remembered that elections are won with higher votes, and not with lower votes.
"But I want to emphasize one most important thing here though, ultimately only the Supreme Court can determine whether or not President Jonathan can even contest the 2015 presidential elections.
"As I said some time ago, if the President contests for another term of four years in 2015, he would have self-succeeded himself in office as President for a cumulative period of nine years 23 days. Abuja - The Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC), on Thursday shared N715.8 billion among the three tiers of government for July.
The Minister of State for Finance, Dr Yerima Ngama, disclosed this to newsmen shortly after the committee's meeting in Abuja.
"The total revenue distributed for July, including Value Added Tax (VAT), is N715. 845billion.
"The distributable statutory revenue was N483.482 billion which was below what was budgeted for the month by N111.282 billion.
"It was, however, less than what was collected in June, which was put at N140.285billion.
"The sum of N115 billion, being part payment of the arrears of argumentation for June, was proposed for the month.
"The sum of N7.6 billion was refunded by NNPC, while N35.5 billion was proposed for distribution under the SURE-P programme.
`The Federal Government received N227.5billion (52.68 per cent), states had N115.3billion (26.72 per cent), while the local governments got N88. 9 (20.60 per cent)", he said.
The minister added that N45.1 billion or 13 per cent Derivation Fund was paid to the six oil producing states.
Ngama said the gross revenue of N497. 9billion received for the month was lower than the N863.0 billion received in the previous month by N365.0 billion.
"This was due to continuous theft of crude oil, leakages, pipeline breaks at various terminals, some machine failure and repairs.
"Also, downward review of some companies estimates and a judgment debt by the Tax Appeal Tribunal on Education Tax reduced PPT payable for the month,'he said.
The minister said the mineral revenue collected for the month was N361.9 billion, adding that the amount was less than N550.3 billion received in June.
He said the non-mineral revenue collected in May was N136.0 billion, showing a decline of N176.6 billion compared to N312.6 that was collected in June.
Ngama said N4.1billion was paid to Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and N2.3 billion to Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) as collection fee for the month.
He said the balance of the Excess Crude Account was 5.1 billion dollars.
Mr Timothy Odah, the Chairman, Finance Commissioners Forum, apologised to Nigerians for the late sharing of the revenue.
He explained that the delay was due to the dwindling resources and late returns on the part of the collecting agencies.
Odah said the National Council of Economic Development (NACOFED) conference which took place in Niger state last week and the CBN conference on small scale industries, also led to the delay.
He urged states to apply the money shared to revenue generating projects. (NAN)

Onyeka Onwenu is one of the personalities to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry. Recently, she was unveiled as one of the judges in the ongoing Glo-X judges and her judgment in the show has shown that she is an icon in the field. In this revealing interview, she talks about her challenges, passion for music, among other issues.

The "secret" is no secret at all. It's all God's grace. I have found that when you locate yourself in Him Who is the Author and Finisher, there is no limit as to what you can do.
How did you come about being one of the Glo X- factor judges and what has the experience been?

Rapid Blue, the producers of Glo X Factor sought me out and we came to an agreement. I am not a Glo Ambassador and I do not have a contract with Glo.
The experience has been interesting, challenging at times, because of the time we put in, but mostly enriching. It gives me a great sense of accomplishment, to be able to mentor young artistes and watch them grow right before your eyes.
From acting to music, why the diversion?
I started out as a Television journalist with NTA before I released my first Album in 1981. Acting came much later. None of it is a diversion. I am blessed with many talents and I explore and use most, to the glory of God.
For quite a long time now, you have not been seen on the big screen (acting), where have you been?
I am choosy as to what roles I accept, for professional and financial reasons. You should, however expect to see me in the soon to be released Half Of A Yellow Sun.
In one of the contests in the Glo X Factor competition,you wept, does it mean you are that emotional?
All artistes are emotional. As a creative person, I am affected by things around me.
You have featured in some movies now, which one would you say is most challenging and why?
I would say Conspiracy 1 and 2, as well as Women's Cot and of course Half Of A Yellow Sun. These were challenging roles where I had to play characters that were opposites of who I was in real life. I had to completely leave myself out of them.
You dedicated the proceed you made from the sale of your CD plate, The Legend Reloaded to Church building, would you say you are very close to God?
I strive to be closer to God every day. It's my life's work.
What prompted the title of your album, The Legend Reloaded?
It was Obi Asika who gave it that title. You would have to ask him this question.
Aside you music career which is what you give most attention now, what else do you do?
I am a mother and a business woman as well. One has to have multiple streams of income.
How did your appointment as the Chairperson of the Imo State Council of Arts and Culture come about and how do you combine that with your music career?
For eight years, between the year 2002 and 2010, I vied for the Chairmanship of my LGA, Ideato North, in Imo State. I did not succeed because there was no level-playing field. The powers that were did not want someone like me who would display integrity, prevent them from stealing the LG funds and get the job of development done. It was a trying time but also of learning and service to my people at so many levels.
My appointment as Chairman of Imo State Council For Arts and Culture (ISCAC) by Dr Ikedi Ohakim, Governor at the time was well received by the people and the Board that I chaired gave a good account of itself. In fact, we turned the place around, renovated it and made it a profitable venture. We developed a blue print which was copied by others. I am very proud of what we did there. I left there in 2011, after two fruitful years.
What is your evolution into the entertainment world like?
This is too general a question. I would answer by saying that it started in 1981, when reality shows did not exist and division of labour, generally was minimal. You had to do most things by and for yourself. I wrote my own songs after my first album and managed myself mostly. I did my own costumes and makeup. After my 2nd Album, I financed and promoted my own recordings. It was not easy but we did what we had to do and kept going.
We fought the pirates and fought for copyright dues. We sacrificed for the union (PMAN) and ensured that artistes were given respect and honour in Nigeria.
What would you say is the worst thing that has happened to you?
The worst thing that ever happened to me, no doubt was the death of my beloved father, Hon. D.K Onwenu, at age 40, from a car accident. He was on his way back from Aba to Port Harcourt, from a meeting with the Union of Teachers there. Papa was a member of the Federal House, the first Arondizuogu man to attain that position. He was a brilliant and charismatic orator, a graduate of Fourah Bay University, Sierra Leone as well as the University of Durham, England. My dad loved me to distraction. I remember him well and I still miss him.

What do you think about this child marriage approved by the senate?
Child marriage is wrong in every way. It has disastrous implications for the development of our country. Consider the fact that a vast number of Nigerian women are kept away from education, they remain at the poverty level, disenfranchised and unable to contribute to the development of their communities and country.

The Boko Haram suspects dressed like Muslim women to evade arrest.
Two suspected members of the insurgent Boko Haram were on Thursday arrested by the vigilante, tagged Civilian-JTF, and handed over to soldiers in Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital. The suspects were then shot dead by the soldiers.
The mode of arrest of the suspects confirms the fear of residents of Borno that the insurgents have designed a scheme of dressing like Muslim women in veils for them to avoid arrest.
The decision of the insurgents to disguise their appearances follows the increased clampdown on them by the Civilian-JTF.
On Thursday, two of such cross-dressers, both in their early thirties, were arrested while trying to go about unnoticed. The two suspected Boko Haram members, who were said to be residents of Shehuri area of Maiduguri, were caught on the way out of the city to Konduga by the Civilian-JTF.
It took a while to convince witnesses that the two young ladies with voluptuous breasts and heavy waists were men.
According to a Civilian-JTF operative, Isa Aliko, the two cross-dressing men were nabbed based on a tip-off from some young men who hung around the Shehu of Borno's Palace.
"We know all of them and when we were given the hint that they were dressed like women and covered with Hijjab (Islamic cover for women), we launched a search for them until we finally caught them at the outskirts of the town," said Mr. Aliko.
The two men wore heavy makeup, ear rings and head ties with two big oranges each in their brassieres masquerading as breasts.
After they were caught, they were beaten by angry Civilian-JTF members before they were handed over to soldiers who subsequently shot them dead.
The Nigerian military has been having a torrid time dealing with the outlawed sect in Borno and neighbouring Adamawa and Yobe. While the military has suffered causalities, it has announced the successful hunt and demolition of several cells of the insurgents. The military recently announced the likely death of the sect's leader, Abubakar Shekau, following a shoot-out with soldiers. The announcement came several hours after the second in command to Mr. Shekau was also killed in a gun battle with soldiers.
Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe are still under emergency rule, since May, to flush out the sect and other criminals operating in the area.
