And why would he exclude African countries
All these quest for europe and US makes a lot of people miss out on good things
Botswana is a rich country with excellent ease of business
Same as Morocco,Egypt,Rwanda,Kenya
You can go to all these places, save money and guess what
They are all in AFRICA
You are right bro.. for now, Niger Republic is one of the best African countries to make money if you stay focused and can withstand the scorching heat.

....so my younger brother intimated me last week on his decision to relocate abroad with his family. He is married with 3 kids and earns a salary of above 700k, the wife earns above 500k! they both want to resign and relocate to Canada citing insecurity, fallen educational system..etc as their reasons and they want to hear my opinion. What can I really tell them?

My neighbor like d literal meaning of dat name then
. It is not wise to say what you are not sure of. Those days, they had no reasons to lie about their ages much because most were not professional footballers and never intended to.
Stephen Tataw Eta, played all his entire football career at Tonnere and Olympic Mvolye in Yaoundé. I personally know him and his family members. He was nowhere near the age you are giving him.
Peace.

The scammer kept attacking with his numerous alternate accounts. grin grin grin Bad market don catch you today. grin grin grin

Why is it that Nigerians are quick to label people scammers? Please note that it is easier to give than to beg. Assist him if you can..if you cannot free the guy and move on.

Politics / Re: Should Nairaland Create Begging Forum? by lelion: 3:15pm On Apr 27, 2020
It is more difficult to beg than to give. Those begging are not happy to do so. Like someone said above, give if you want to give and ignore if you cannot.
NB: please do not stigmatise them

Why not pray to God to make you the next giveaway? I know a CD seller in Abuja who sold a CD to a rich man, who asked him whether he knew someone who could help roof his house. The CD seller closed his showcase shop and looked the whole of that evening and got somebody. In three days, he was paid N1.2million as commission by the roofing guy he got for the job.

That was how his story changed. From CD seller to roofing contractor in 3 days.
The problem is that many of you have become so consumed with castigating pastors over tithes and offerings that you have neglected the fact that God can turn your own story individually in record time.

Very true. It happens and that is similar to my case. I was a French teacher in Lagos managing my 12k salary when l met one rich man who wanted to learn French very fast because he got a job with the UN. I thought him French for 2 months shishi the man no pay me. One day he called me and gave me 100k to buy my teaching materials ( text books, CD, chalk...etc). I spent less than 10k for those things.
Now, I still had roughly 90k with me! The man no even know my house oo, my guys say make we waka with the money . Imagine someone with 12k salary having 90k with him, the temptation was just too much..... I will be back

Business / Re: I Want To Give 100k To Those Who Are Really Hungry by lelion: 1:22pm On Apr 16, 2020
HELLO NAIRALANDERS,
the aim of this little giveaway was to cushion hunger for few days on the beneficiaries and not to fight. Fighting means the aim has been defeated! accusations and tantrums are not what we need now because I believe we are all above that.
Beremx tried her best as a human being and we don't expect her to be perfect. The students who refused to acknowledge receipt should be blamed if at all we should because acknowledgement of receipt is EASIER than sending mails and student I.D to Beremx yesterday.
Out of the 31 beneficiaries ( predominantly students) 14 students acknowledged receipt, then 2 others who are not students making a total of 16, and not acknowledging receipt means the process is not completed.

NB: we should all stay tuned, I believe one way or the other we shall still have small bread to share here.
Cheers.

I didn't tell you I need the money, I never sent the email. I commented when I saw those comments above. A white man Will give you an assignment worth only $100 but will audit how you spent the money for transparency sake but a black man will say it doesn't matter because I trust him or her. You can see how they are perpetually ahead of us in every sphere of life. SMH for Nigerians

I work with the UNITED NATIONS ( FRENCH TRANSLATOR).
I understand perfectly well what you are talking about the white man and checks and balances.
However, there are No rigorous checks or auditing when it has to do with pure humanitarian work ( just like we just did). You spend the money and send invoices that is it. That is why you see people jostling for NGO'S jobs even in very volatile regions.
Again I think she did a good job.

Stop arguing what you don't know. We were less than 15 people online here as at that time on this thread and it will take up to at least 10 to 25 minutes to get up to 50 emails, I can bet anything on this. Just check the number of monikers online here now I don't mean entire Nairaland. On twitter, there are hundreds of thousands of people seeing what you post depending on your followers or following.

Except the owner of the money is also the owner of that email if not, he should request the print out of those who sent email to that address and their the times they sent the email to confirm or collect password and check. That's the only to way to know how transparent it was

Calm down bros,
1. I'm not the owner of the email
2. 50 emails can be sent even in a second
3. I do not have any reasons to doubt the credibility of the disburser because we are all Nigerians and the aim is to cushion hunger in some of us and I believe she is humane enough to do that.
4. You will also agree with me that, no matter she does it some of us will still complain.
Please bear with her ! as a human being we don't expect her to be perfect but next time will be better

Bro when I saw my account number 1st on the list I confirmed the credibility of the list because I sent her the mail almost immediately with criteria she wanted.....for the accounts that re occurred it's definitely a coincidence because u won't tell me out of everything in her life she'll choose to be keeping account details in her head..... thanks lelion and Beremx[/quote

God bless you. Of course, Beremx is human and is not expected to be perfect. Myself I did a quick check and I am satisfied with the list. Though it is painful that all of us cannot get the token given the level of hunger in the land but God will see us through.

Please I am not saying this because I was chosen, she did her best and this is human no matter how she did it some will definitely criticize her. The truth is everyone can't get from the money.

I am seeing her user name for the first time
Thank you for this comment. Many people here attested to her credibility. And of course, no matter how we do it there must be some flaws. For those who could not get now, let's pray we are selected next time.

Yes, you don't because you refuse to accept your fault and apologise. Making sure everyone is carried along in any assigned job makes it transparent and leaves room for no doubts. [/quote

Probably my work ethics cap came into play. If it's not necessary, no problem. Just a personal view.

The list comprises mostly students! Then we did some random selections which we termed '' special cases'' All was done on first come first serve. And you will agree with me that no matter how we do not everyone will be a beneficiary.
Thank you for your contributions

Bros, sorry óò, you for follow your mind, follow your spirit take share your money to whomever your spirit pleases. Not another person following her own mind to share your hard earned money.

Na she dey even dictate on top another person money the category of people to receive the cash.

- majority of us agreed she should handle it and I don't think she is dictating anything because she is keeping me updated.
- we are all one here and I believe the sharing should be done with love and oneness
- For those who will not get now we pray you are selected the next time.
