It is important to note that many people without strong financial knowledge depend mainly on this thread for their financial decisions on NSE. Even Locodemy that has been in this business for long still takes certain decisions based on information gotten from this thread. |

CashDiMkpa: Was that really called for? You look and sound as bad as him with the bolded.
Just ignore. With repeated postings, people can eventually tell who has credibility and who does not. Their NSEMPA footprint is enough to tell the story. Then what's the essence of this thread if everyone decides to keep quiet like you did. You will be surprised if you discover how many people that might have sold their sound stocks because of his repeated baseless posts on this thread. It's very easy to manipulate people's emotions. How can a sane person person be advising people to sell their shares at this point in time with the hope of buying lower. Meanwhile he is not selling but willing to buy at unrealistic prices. Even if zenith bank will fall to 2 naira tomorrow, I don't think this is the right time to be selling. |

Mcy56: That's the rule and I think it's much okay. Think it was even 5% sometimes like that. If it's more than 10%, it will favour the rise but the fall will be terrible. Can't imagine a stock fall with 42% a day, na tsunami be that. That's understandable. |

Mcy56: This market is weird, just like weird things happening all over. Maybe the price fall halted cos the stocks have been over-beaten by events around the world already. I just pray this pandemic is contained soonest by God's mercy. The sellers don't have much to sell again The volume traded this month tells a lot. Imagine a stock will be on full offer people will still be buying in large volumes. Who no like cheap things. Even Buhari fit don accumulate zenith bank shares. |

thebargainhunte: When onifa told us to japaa early January, some people made up to 30% before jaa. Hmm, onifa left market too early and he entered too early. There is now downtrend of Brent. The world needs to act fast to curtail this downtrend. So what do you have to tell us What we need is information that will help us make money not criticism. Incase you've forgotten, he only advised people to buy in batches at the days low. Please be guided accordingly. |

Marlianvestor: Haba Oga! That statement dey one kind! Kilode? Literally, it might mean nothing to you, but connotatively it means a lot to we Christians on this platform. And I know deep down you know... It was just totally unnecessary in the context you used it esp in rightly predicting procedural steps, policy makers/govt naturally follow when mkt is seriously tanking. It's just check-list-esque! Same used during 2008 liquidity crisis - TRAP stimulus package, Short-selling ban, money printing, asset-buyback etc, then inflation sets in, back to square one.
That's not the point though! Let's just be sensitive to other people's feelings, way of life etc (even if you don't approve of it) and where we need to show restraint when spewing words, let's us show it. Though faceless platform, but still a community with followership.
As our in-house Pastor said (though surprised by his levity re. his reaction), that statement has pride written all over it, but I'm hoping I am proved wrong. Really hoping! Regardless...
