CriminalTinubu:

But Buhari never supported Tinubu which is why he witchhunted Emefiele and now, El Rufai.

He just can't face Buhari directly because he is a coward just as this Northern protest has shown us all.
you mean the same Buhari who chaired the presidential election council for Tinubu, Buhari that was present at several rally amd on Election day showed his Ballot paper to clarify who he voted for urging all Nigerians to follow Suite? As for the Emefiele thing we all know that one was acting on his own for reasons best know to him.....and what you fail to see with Elrufia is the party moving all issues that could be a problem out of the way before he will need to take office.....best to deal with it now that then.....

no do as you wish.....just understand your reality.....you've gone from we will leave Lagos in 2015 should Buhari win to supporting Atiku in 2019 then to give us Biafra then to burn down Lagos disguised as endsars then to pitobi the savior in 2023 and back to the we own Lagos rhetoric.....

As things stand, you really believe he will be?
Tinubu is already out to destroy him. Obviously, Tinubu will not hand over to him.

Tinubu is known to be selfish so once he is done, he will pull himself and his boys out.

El Rufai knows this. He's not naive like you.
lol same way you people said Buhari will not support Tinubu and the rest of us were just looking at you......you guys are bad at politics which is why you resort to underhanded tactics like protest.....and Tinubu that everyone even those who have offended him know him to be a fair person is who you're saying is selfish?.....stop just stop....you know nothing of the man or the Nigerian political space.....

Politics / Re: Northern APC (CPC/ANPP) Can Pull Out Of APC by leokid866: 5:52pm On Aug 04
CriminalTinubu:
If this happens, ACN will automatically become minority in all chambers of government.

Futher, the Northern faction can consolidate with other smaller parties, maybe not fully but on various levels and situations. They have nothing to lose in a 50-50 arrangement since they are not even having 10% of their way in the current APC setup.

For example, CPC can align with PDP and LP in the Senate just to impeach Akpabio. CPC can also align with LP & PDP governors on various interests.

The ACN lack the national support or structure to mount a challenge to any of the above scenarios as no opposition party member outside the South West will be willing to align with them on anything seeing their current predicament.

Another angle is that this move will level the playing ground for all parties in Nigeria as any wrong calculation by one party can result in it's annihilation since the others have similar individual numbers.

The APC currently have 59 senators while PDP have 37. If the Northern APC pulls out, ACN will drop to less than 30. Similar scenario in the House of Assembly of 176 lawmakers.

This move will really weaken Tinubu's 'federal might' since he has to now build bridges with 1 or 2 parties to pass anything unlike the rubberstamp modus operandi of the day.

This move can also help the governors so other party governors should be considering it. Take Rivers and Edo states situation for example under the chokehold of APC's 'federal might'.

If the North doesn't take advantage of this opportunity now they may never get it again and if they think they can wait till 2027 and hijack the party they will be gravely mistaken because Tinubu will not hesitate to do exactly what I typed up there if he senses his loss just to ensure that the Northern faction does not get the upper hand. By then, it may be too late.

Buhari, El Rufai, Ndume & co surely must be considering this.
lol this is why you people continue to fail in politics......why would Elrufia pull out when he is going to be the next presidential candidate after Tinubus eight years.....

Which police were killed? The policeman whose picture was taken and posted at about 7:46 AM yesterday morning on X, before the protests even began? I don't know who Sarki is but I think he may be in the know of exactly where that picture came from cause it did not come from the protests that took place later that same day in Kaduna. undecided

Where is your proof that the IEDs which were both conveniently planted the night before the protest were connected in any way to the protestors? The roof of your building is falling apart... na protestors fault e be? undecided
are you okay? All major News agencies are saying the same thing but you are drawing your news from Twitter? It's obvious you are not a serious person.....you are asking for proof that the bomb is connected to the protest, I'm sure if it had gone off you will come out to say it's government setup.......please go tell those in Borno that list their lives that the protest was not used as cover to take their life......

Kobojunkieee:
Many of those killed were unarmed men who went out to protest yesterday and were gunned down indiscriminately by the Police. Even if supposedly caught looting or causing damage to property, is shooting to kill not still the most inhumane thing to do to them? We had EndSars some years ago to supposedly bring to an end police brutality but I see now that it never in fact ended. The IGP of police should resign immediately; Tinubu must go abeg make some sanity return to this country. 2024 and Nigeria is still fighting old time problems instead of charting new territory. No be curse be that? undecided
you mean protesters that killed police men across different states and attacked police stations, set off bombs in Borno and planted IEDs In Lagos.....why are you people trying to distort the news like the rest of us are not getting it live.....

Shehu Sanni should cover his face. The Igbos are not to be blamed. Let us learn to take responsibilities of our decisions and actions.

The Igbo leaders warned their people not to partake in any protest and so far they didn't bother themselves.

The Northerners especially the Kano people should enjoy this protest, I hope Tinubu will allow the people of Kano to exercise their right.

I think some people calling us names for preaching against the protest will now see our own reasons too.
then please tell us why pitobi went to Abuja to join the protest and not Anambra?

Tinubu should just open his mouth and say "Subsidy is Gone Back" and the protests will end.
Nigeria is rich enough to subsidise fuel at ₦200 per litre.

Then slash into half all salaries and allowances of Senators, House of Reps, Govs, and all top Govt officials and cut down on Govt wastages.
Then scrap either Senate or House of Rep.
Then scrap all those many unproductive Govt agencies.
Then scrap all those many useless SA's and PA's.
...
you know what it should not stop there, all governors should be sacked, all state legislation should be scrapped and all LG chairmen should be removed that way people can freely administer their own governance......

I was laughing at the clowns who are suffering from memory loss when they were hailing Tinubu.

Nigeria has sold its crude oil in advance. So where would NNPC get the one they will sell to Dangote?

This is public knowledge. Dangote imported crude oil from other countries because NNPC has sold our crude oil in advance to pay for loans.
who did FG have the forward sale agreement with? Afreximbank.....the same Afreximbank who is to mediat the transactions between Dangote and NNPC.....the new deal now will most likely be an allowance to supply Dangote the crude pegged at a slightly above rate to accommodate interest for the bank.....the Naira value will most likely be BTW 65$ - 70$ per barrel.....NNPC will be off the hook for its forward sales, Dangote will get his crude and Afreximbank will get to charge interest on sales without having to deal with cost of export and as the bank they will monitor sales receipt and still be able to charge on bank Transaction along side Access bank which is the local bank and also represent Dangote as his bankers.....

That happened in Lagos because the government sponsored people trying to stop the protest.

you obviously were not paying attention to the news at that period to know that several policemen lost their lives across the country.....prisons broken into and criminals let out, and people's businesses from Abuja to Ogun state were broken into and looted....Lagos suffered the most loss but it did not suffer alone.....
