seankafor:There is no doubt about you that you're an unfortunate human being. You live a destitute, depressed life and the only fate you're consigned to is to always be below men your mates. Na why you dey always ass kiss and flatter anybody whom you think has any lick of power. Interestingly, with the way other guys insult you here, you nor get courage enough to face and fight them. But nor worry. That home training wey your okpo mama nor give you, I go instill am for you well well. |
He say that I'm good enough, grabbin' my duh-duh-duh Thinkin' 'bout shit that I shouldn't've (Huh) So I tell him there's one of me, he makin' fun of me (Ha-ha) His girl is a bum to me (Grrah) |
Itsrm:Absolutely. Here is also what the post says; “Since the BVAS was the focal point and sole foundation of the appellant’s case, it was imperative that they produce the BVAS of the 744 polling units or a certified true copy (CTC) of the contents of the BVAS in evidence and show that the record therein established non-accreditation, improper accreditation and over-voting in the 744 polling unit,” the supreme court held.So basically, IREV is not reliable, but the (data on the) BVAS is (to ascertain over-voting). And that was exactly what Obi's team requested for (to inspect the BVAS) before filing their petition, so if they have the CTCs of the results, I don't see a problem for them. None of Obi's prayers is hinged on over-voting, and I doubt that they are citing the IREV as a source of proof for their case. And let's agree that INEC is not bound to electronically transmit results from the polling units, but the fundamental problem of what is recorded on the EC8A forms and stored in the BVAS also contradicts what is on the IREV and what is on the IREV also contradicts what INEC announced in some instances. So if Obi's team have their original polling unit results, and CTCs of the BVAS information, I believe they've got no problem. All of this aside sef, this judgement is confusing to me. Why exactly is INEC not bounded to upload the results to IREV when they literally said this? What is on the IREV should naturally correspond with what is in on the BVAS.

raumdeuter:Now you're shifting the post. The point has been about a concentration of votes in places that you expected to be strongholds of each candidates. You specifically mentioned Lagos and Anambranians and one governor being a success and the other a failure, so naturally, were the love/hate both of them have from the public not supposed to be reflected in their hometowns and states they governed? Ise ile ni a n gbe lo si ta. He has 8m votes, but he's the most unpopular 'president' ever. Why were the Lagos elections marred with violence that colored the outcome of the people's real love for Tinubu? ![]() |
Spy360:Same here. I think it was liveLong Nprospa who posted some of his wins earlier in the thread. It's impressive. |
Spy360:LMAO. ![]() Now that you ask, especially in light of the case being adjourned until the 17th of May again, I do know for certain that it'll be prolonged for as long as possible. And there'll still be many dramas and twists to come with it. (Although, I noticed BATist boys seemed to have soft-pedaled on their propaganda against PO?) And Tinubu will definitely be sworn in before a judgement is delivered (that is assuming none of those 'spiritual prophecies' about him being arrested come to pass LOL). I also think from now until then, he has the backing of the incumbency, and when he gets there, he may have some constitutional power that will make the delivery of a swift judgment all the more hard. Another part of me also feels like this case wouldn't end at the Appeal Court, but at the Supreme Court. Some weeks ago, if you'd asked me, I would have told you I was 98% certain that Obi will get his mandate back. Sure, I am hopeful and positive, but realistically, I cannot say anything definite. I will have to wait and see more development/progress in the case before I can confidently predict how it'll end. On the issue of the forfeiture for example; it happened alright, but I wonder how the LP's team are going to make that stick as grounds for disqualification. The issue is not a new public knowledge no more, and it's hard to think that no one has ever tried to drag Tibubu to court for it and succeeded. Like, why hasn't someone taken him to court all this while? In the past? Does LP have other damning evidence that has never seen the light of the day? Obi doesn't strike me as someone who will pursue a course without him being sure of its success. I do not recall the details of the double nomination, but it's about Shettima, right? I think he resigned from being a Senator a day too late, and that may be a valid ground. As for the FCT ish, too, it is highly semantical, but generally, we know that 'AND' is a conjuction that places a condition on the thing mentioned after. Purely, linguistically, there is nothing confusing about that. 25% of votes in the FCT is a requirement. Now, some people argue that, 'oh, why should the FCT have a deciding power more that the rest of us?' and I say, the FCT doesn't have a governor, too. Is it okay for it to be 'inferior' to other states in that respect? Abuja being the FCT isn't just symbolic; Aso Rock and the National Assembly and so many other governmental agencies are there. It's only right for the indigenes there to get their own consideration. The argument/clause is just like the standard English and Math pass requirements. It's self-explanatory. 'I gave sweet to Tola, Shola, Debbie, and Macy.' 'You must have 50% in Chemistry, Literature, English and the Fine Arts.' So I do believe this one is a VERY strong case. Someone on Twitter thoroughly broke it down in a thread, though, and some people are now saying that general English language is different from English 'under the law.' ![]() Toor. If that is so, I have no f-king idea, but in standard English, the consequence of using 'and' is indisputable. And finallyyyyy, Ikpeazu. (I thought he was the leading counsel, but I saw a Livy as the leading counsel on PO's team on F?P). But anyway, whether he's the one leading or he's a part of the team, I believe he has an immeasurable value to bring to the case given his history of electoral petitions. So, that's it... sorry for the long talk i am like that sometimes |
