you at most would still ask a fraction of them and besides your workplace is only a fraction of the Hausas in Lagos state, even in Benin city here, i discovered many of them are not directly from Nigeria, the same thing when i was in Lagos, shoe-makers, suya people, bikemen, wristwatch sellers etc a chunk of them are from outside, Niger, Mali, Chad etc

because it started at my workplace doesn't mean it ended there, the relationships I built there allowed me to interact with better with others I met outside which Is how I know they are quite a lot of them.....yes once in a while I'll come across a Fulani or some guy from Niger but I'll run into five Hausa guys before that one......the relationships u built at work was what started opening my eyes to just how large they are within the state

I can understand that the census has been geared to favour them.....that's the perception we've all had....but even with its bloated figure their population is nothing to be sneezed at.....even if we go with your population size of 45 Million do you mean to tell me 3Million or more of that cannot be in Lagos.....to give you a full understanding of who I am I used to work in a flour company in Apapa as a treasurer for close to 30 years I interacted with these people day in day out cause they bought in bulk to ship northward I held some of them close and they held me close cause I handled their money in the company account, trust me when I tell you that they have the second highest population in Lagos.....if Lagos was not Yoruba Land they would probably be number 1........
