See let me explain to you, the moment transactions are cross border, the KYC, AML and CFT requirements become tougher and stiffer.

That's why it's literally impossible for Nigerian to have access to cross border accounts without very tight kyc requirements and any hint of money laundering, the accounts are shut down by the banks otherwise they are dine or could even loose their license.

You explanation is very watery.

First Dangote cannot have unilateral access to USD from the CBN without supporting documents for same.

Secondly the dollars are not paid into his account( local or foreign ) but rather into the account of the respective beneficiaries in renowned bwnkd abroad.

Do you really think the banks will risk their license because Dangote wants to round trip?

Meanwhile, 4 years ago during EndSARS saga, a police told this same governor to turn back (blocked him from carrying his state duty until a police boss in Abuja approves him passing through. Him and his security turned back even though they out number and out armed the officer that blocked him) he didn't show the same 'gragra' then (and it is a wise thing to do due to safety reasons).

In USA, he would say "thank you for your service to our fatherland, but here is a ticket for your rider for breaking traffic law". They were 3 wrongs here that could only happen here in Africa/Nigeria. The soldier was respectful AND NO NEED FOR CALLING SOMEONE INJURED IN COMBAT, "USELESS".

Tinubu lost in Lagos partly to the Muslim Muslim ticket, and he lost in Alimosho because that's Aregbes quarters in Lagos, and if you paid attention during that period you will know that the first thing Oba Akinolu said to Tinubu when he came to Lagos was that he should warn Aregbe, that they know what he did in Alimosho and that if he was not careful he will be chased from Lagos.....it was the very next day Aregbe joined the APC campaigns in Lagos asking that they vote for APC.....he wanted to show he had power and he has done his worst and lost out.....all what he is trying to do now is to try and stay relevant but i doubt anyone in the party trust him anymore....even his base in Alimosho has been taken from him and he is just trying to round up what he can in Osun.....

it wasn't entirely his fault....there was serious economic turmoil during his tenure and it was that time dollar started first started spinning out of control making it harder for him to mange the state debt profile....he had good intentions for the state
