Car Talk › Re: My Car's Transmission Hesitates To Move For About 5 Seconds Every Morning by Leonyluiz(m): 7:01am On May 19 |
apexquest: Hello gurus in the house, I need help and guidance. Recently I noticed that in the morning when I want to leave the house, the car will hesitate to move after I have put it in drive 'D'. After about 4 to 5 seconds, it will engage sometimes with a jerk and begin to move. For the remaining part of the day it will not do it again untill the next day. It happens every morning and whenever I have left the car for several (over 5 to 6) hours.
It's a 2008 Rav4.
What do I need to check or attend to, please.?? Boss. If you're in Lagos, reach out to this man. You'll thank me later. He saved my Acura. Bishop (08105899970) |

I have to give a massive shout-out to my brother for his incredible work on my 2008 Acura TSX. He didn't just help me source the car; he spent the time to personally overhaul it and ensure every single component was up to code before I took delivery. We all know how unpredictable an older Acura can be if the maintenance isn't handled by someone who actually understands the engine, but he handled the suspension, fluids, and electronics with total precision. Since he finished the job, the car has been a dream to drive—solid, reliable, and without a single serious issue or warning light on the dash. If you are tired of mechanics who use guesswork and want someone who treats a car with actual technical expertise, he is definitely your guy. Highly recommended for anyone who wants peace of mind on the road. |

Houseofglam7: Wise choice… rather than getting shot and rough handled by the ICE. I see. Okay how many Nigerians have been deported?. Please show me. I'm happy to be wrong but Nigerians are usually law abiding while abroad. You people will just be showcasing lack of education online. If you follow the rules of your host, no harm or harassment would ever come to you. You people are quick to dive into an opinion after watching 10 second clips on tiktok. Read and be educated, your children would respect you more for it. |

ojobek: America is not the best country to stay, deport those immigrants from your army, navy etc as well. Hypocrite. Is it that people don't think. He is not deporting legal citizens. It is called "illegal" for a reason. ICE is going after illegal migrants and you are vilifying a president for carrying out his duty as a commander in chief. Obama deported 4.6 million recorded people but I don't remember any of you keyboard cowards saying anything. Try and read well and understand situations before you showcase your lack of education on a public forum. The people in the army or navy that you mentioned would not have been allowed if they didn't pass background check. Please educate yourself rather than rant blindly. |

Your father had the opportunity to make Libya great but chose to suppress the people of Libya by making himself a dictator and sponsor of terrorism. Africans are really unlucky We have wonderful natural resources but remain poor because of the greed of our leaders who sell our sovereignty and freedom to white nations just to earn trinkets for their children. Why can't we have a Lee quan yaun who was so patriotic to his country that CIA tried to assassinate him and failed . Africans need good leaders to set example and change the continent The white imperialist are powerless when our leaders are not corrupt and focus on building their nation God bless you bro. A lot of uneducated people just judge based on hearsay. Never bothering to read or dig deep into history. Mirasteel: It wasn't the government, it was US government that did that. when you put sanctions on a country what do you expect? I’m shocked at this statement. Its like asking me to feed an enemy. Iran was a beautiful place until the jihadists took over. Tourism was booming until they decided to give in to islamism and radicalization which led them to the over dependence on oil and the us and un collectively placed sanctions on them due to the risk of having a nuclear state fall in the hands of jihadists. Iran openly chants death to American and you expect America to be nice to them? It is not US’s fault that the government refused to look outside the box and diversify, rather spend the country’s collective patrimony on armament and nuclear programs. The country got so toxic that they experience a massive brain drain. See ehn. Bro. Please read more on things before you jump to conclusions |

Car Talk › Re: Tell Us Your Car Faults. Let's Assess And Fix Them by Leonyluiz(m): 2:02pm On Jan 05 |
RyanAutomotive: Good morning sir,
Thank you for taking the time to explain the situation clearly. From your description — a 2008 Acura TSX with extensive front suspension, steering, and brake overhaul, plus a ride height lift, followed by multiple drivability and braking complaints — this is a system-level setup and calibration issue, not a single bad part.
What you’re experiencing is common after major suspension work when geometry, preload, and balance are not correctly reset.
⸻
🔧 Professional Diagnostic Insight
1️⃣ Positive Camber After Suspension Work (Core Issue) Positive camber on the front wheels after replacing arms, bushings, tie rods, hubs, and lifting the vehicle indicates: • Incorrect arm geometry for the new ride height • Bushings tightened while suspension was hanging (not at ride height) • Alignment not done or done improperly
Positive camber will cause: • Reduced braking efficiency • Poor tire contact with the road • Steering instability and twitching
⸻
2️⃣ Brake Pedal Feedback & Reduced Sharpness Feeling rough terrain through the brake pedal and weak braking bite usually points to: • Brake discs not seated properly on the hub • Hub runout or dirt/rust between hub and disc • Caliper slider pins binding or incorrectly torqued • Wheel bearing/hub tolerance issue
This is not normal after a brake job.
⸻
3️⃣ Scratchy Noise at High Speed (Driver Side) A scratchy or scraping sound at speed can come from: • Dust shield rubbing the brake disc • Wheel bearing preload issue • CV axle alignment stress after lift • Brake pad contact due to caliper misalignment
This must be inspected immediately to avoid further damage.
⸻
4️⃣ Steering Twitching Even at Idle This strongly suggests: • Steering rack preload or tie rod geometry issue • Incorrect toe setting • Power steering line pressure imbalance after pump replacement
Steering should remain stable at idle — twitching is a clear fault sign.
⸻
5️⃣ Excessive Vibration in Drive with A/C On (Traffic) This points to a combination of: • Engine mounts stressed due to altered suspension geometry • Increased engine load from A/C exposing existing imbalance • Subframe or suspension components not torqued to spec
After major suspension work, vibrations often surface because tolerances change.
⸻
⚙️ Ryan Automotive Workshop – Professional Take
When you replace this many components at once, the vehicle must be recalibrated as a system. Simply installing new parts without: • Ride-height-based torque setting • Correct alignment angles • Brake runout checks will create exactly the symptoms you’re experiencing.
This is not a parts quality problem — it’s a setup and execution problem.
⸻
✅ Professional Summary & Correct Next Steps
To resolve this properly, the car needs: • ✔️ Full suspension re-inspection • ✔️ Re-torquing of all arms & bushings at correct ride height • ✔️ Precision wheel alignment (camber, caster, toe) • ✔️ Brake disc runout & hub inspection • ✔️ Steering system pressure and geometry check • ✔️ Engine mount and subframe inspection
Do not continue driving aggressively until this is corrected — uneven braking, steering instability, and vibrations can escalate quickly.
📍 Clients come to us from different locations — distance is never a barrier when it comes to getting the job done right.
If you want this resolved correctly and permanently, DM Ryan Automotive Limited for professional inspection and proper recalibration.

Good day good men. I recently did a massive overhaul on my wheel for 2008 Acura TSX. Things like - Power Steering Pump - Shocks - Ball Joints - Hub - Brake Disks - Brake pads - Complete Tyroid module - Stabilizer Linkage - Upper and Lower Arm - Bushings - The ride was also lifted
Now the issue I'm facing is the following.
- Front now has positive camber - Feeling the rough terrain from the brake pedal - Brake doesnt feel as sharp - A scratchy sound from either the front or rear wheel while on high speed (driver side) - Steering twiches even while idle - excessive vibration while in drive and ac is on in traffic
I know this is long story but kindly indulge me and assist |

Melezenawii: In 1993, 🇺🇸 the United States tried to play global police in Somalia, just like it later did with Maduro, using the same elite Delta Force!
But the Somalis weren’t an easy target… the result?
🔻 18 Delta soldiers killed including two of the top U.S. snipers 🔻 70 wounded 🔻 Two helicopters downed 🔻 And their bodies dragged through the streets of Mogadishu in one of America’s biggest military humiliations of the 20th century.
Since that day… they’ve never returned to Somalia.

melechpilusof: This your comment is asking for alot of information. But I will just remind why Christianity spread with bloodshed. When the Romans saw the behavior of Christians, especially the attitude of turning the other cheek and loving everyone even your enemies, it melted the hearts of the soldiers. So many of them became Christians. You just showcased your intellectual deficiency. You seem and or claim to have more information. The people you mentioned pillaged and killed for political gains and not religious. If you are as adept in history as you claim, you would know that. Religious men hated Christianity. Because the doctrine of the rule back then was conquest and not subtle acts of preach and convert. Nobody cares about Christianity or Islam. Serve what you serve and move on. Do not move to another man's country after running from yours and try to force them to bend a knee to your foctrine or die or try to establish that which you ran from in the new location. Try to read and understand and not be too quick to respond with untruths |
Politics › Re: The Plan To Destroy Islam And The Ignorance Of The Ummah by Leonyluiz(m): 7:18am On Jan 02 |
melechpilusof: There are some information that I will deliberately leave out because it is not safe for Public consumption. The public is not ready the truth. Here is a simple skeletal version:
As you can see all over the world, it seems Muslims are constituting a nuisance and very soon it will reach a crescendo, a point where we will all agree to do away with Islam or to make it more secular and tolerant e.g alcohol and pork consumption might become acceptable. China presented a model for this, they declared Islam as a mental illness and converted mosques to public toilet and nothing was done about by Muslims World wide till date. By the time the Islamic Jihadist problem starts being tackled and subdued to conform, everyone would have lost sympathy. Already you can see that Christians in Nigeria and other Christian majority countries have had to rethink their support for Palestine having seen the intolerant nature of Muslims around the world.
Do you know the worse part? Most of these Imams and Sheiks spearheading this Jihad thing are either... Bro. Nobody is trying to eradicate Islam or change your doctrine. Nobody cares. There are lots and lots of religions on this planet even people that willingly worship satan. But what none of those other religions do is force people to bow to their god or be killed. Those people dont run from their country because of the depravity and barbaric nature of homeland then go to another man's country and try to convert it to what they just ran from. That exactly is why I believe y'all are mentally bankrupt. |
