PoliticsRe: Tinubu Removes Doris Uzoka After Hon. Alex Mascot Exposed 'Missing' ₦1.15tr by LeopardX: 5:49pm On Mar 05
Exactly. Na Wale Edun dem suppose sack. However, she was just named the new minister of state for budget and kinikan kinikan, so no EFCC case, no worries for her at all.
Kaa4:
The Minister is simply a fall guy and is being punished for a systemic problem.

The new Minister, who is a good audit professional, should conduct a complete audit of approved monies that were never disbursed, if he wants to be true to his profession.

Then make corrections that should be enduring, to "fix a broken system"
Foreign AffairsRe: Iran Uses BDS by China ,Not GPS by US Reason For Missiles Accuracy by LeopardX: 8:31pm On Mar 04
Even the so-called bds is a cheap, knockoff version of the GPS. Let's be serious here please.

Arrested, or killed those useless kidnappers.

Nobody should come and lecture me on rules of engagement here.
PoliticsRe: How Woro Inhabitants Were Massacred By Fanatic Islamic Jihadists by LeopardX: 5:36am On Feb 07
The reason why Judaism is a dying religion is not because Jews are few.
It's because certain laws and rituals have become impractical in the 21st century.

In the light of that, I believe you all can guess why people are wary of Islam in the current age, including Muslims themselves.
PoliticsRe: How Woro Inhabitants Were Massacred By Fanatic Islamic Jihadists by LeopardX: 5:34am On Feb 07
......and the government still call them bandits and business men.
PoliticsRe: Islamic Extremists Behind Kaiama Killings — Kwara Governor by LeopardX: 5:20pm On Feb 05
olayinka63:
Muslims are not killer. These one are terrorist disguise as Muslim. We live with none Muslim every day and work side by side. Our goal is to attain Jannah. If killings is part of reward to attain Jannah, all Muslims would engage in it. These killings is not part of Islam and will never be.
Government should step up and fire them without mercy.
Back in the day, the church was superior to the state in the western world. The pope had immense military and political power. And it caused a lot of problem due to the excesses of whoever was in power in the papal office - arbitary taxes, forced conversions, genocides and so on....until everyone in Christendom agreed that the church and state should no longer mix.

The state must be superior to the church. Since then, secularism and its consequent common sense and civilization, prevailed and now the western nations are obviously the most desired of all nations of the world.

Despite their moral failures, people from so-called religious nations (including the Muslim nations) prefer to relocate to the west for one reason or the other.

Until Muslims as a Ummah, both moderate and radical, in Nigeria agree that shariah and secular laws cannot run side-by-side, and that one must be subject to the other (in this case sharia to the secular laws) or even suspended, the killings will not stop anytime soon.

One of my students, who is a Muslim, was telling me that the reason why they are attacking christians in the north was because they don't like their way of worship.

Pray tell, how does the way of worship of another person affect you in 2026?

Besides, I immediately knew that his explanation and argument for the aggression of terrorists, as a 13 year old, was inspired by his Alfa or Imam in the mosque.

If a moderate Muslim in Lagos has that kinda orientation, it's only a matter of time before he becomes radical and violence engulf the whole western region.

All these people shouting no SE should get sense!

The average Igbo man would rather be in his shop than to waste his time at the theater
Time spent going to the theatre is not a waste.
Just saying.
Christianity EtcRe: Famous Gospel Musician Ron Kenoly Dies At 81 by LeopardX: 7:32pm On Feb 03
Same here @bahamas95.

I so much loved his songs growing up.

AH! RIP AGAIN GREAT MAN!!! 😢😢😢
BusinessRe: Naira Posted Its First Annual Gain In 13 Years by LeopardX: 6:55am On Feb 03
Boyooosa:
Hmmm....you are very cold with this but honestly, you just mentioned the truth and I do not blame Nigerians in this case, I blame our leadership system that is not building a society that can train sane minds, instead, it trains feeble minds that believe in stealing than building.

A typical Nigerian does not believe in any economic growth that does not reflect that a tin of garri is 5k or a litre of pms to be 50k, a price some of them heard it existed in the 70s.

It's very difficult to comfort someone like that (with such mindset) when his fishing site is converted to coaster line road, he won't consider the general growth of his locality or first society but his personal fun denied and the stipend that comes out of his scrapped adventure
The common man judges the health of the economy by the prices of basic things like food, clothes, house rent (accomodation).

If you judge the economy by these parameters, they will not be wrong.
Purchasing power of the masses has drastically reduced since 2023.

But you economic specialists think otherwise. And it's no problem too.

My own conclusion is: the government has become richer (they've always been rich no matter the situation), while the majority of the people have become even poorer. And it is very evident with what we see around us everyday.
HealthRe: Giant Cobra Crawls Out Of Toilet In Abuja Residential Home (Photos, Video) by LeopardX: 6:36pm On Feb 02
I thought they venerate snakes in some parts of the east (Imo). Are u sure this man is not from there?

Just kidding.

This becoming a frequent occurrence in Abuja.
The appropriate authorities should look into it and find a lasting solution before bodies mount and things get out of hand.
PoliticsRe: Eba Island: Ogun And Ondo Battle Over Ownership Of Oil Rich Island by LeopardX:
Shimbo96:
Why is Eba Island forest reserve in Ondo state but Eba Island with natural gas in Ogun State? This people think Obasanjo is the president, this is not the same thing as stealing Lagos state land make Ogun no kill Dapo.
Co-ask.
If Ondo state should let go that land, the people of Ogun state, well known to be landgrabbers, will surely come back to claim more of Ondo lands.

If it will cause war, so be it.

All land-grabbers should just back off.

How come the majority of the people in the island are Ilajes since recorded history, but the land belong to Ogun?

Make it make sense.

Dubious and devilish landgrabbers.

DeOTR:
It's people like you and I that dumped it there. Nigerians lack discipline
Then it's the job of the government to enforce discipline and not be partial or selective about it.

All the blame can't go to Nigerians alone.

In all sincerity, animals are not easy to control and to think that most Nigerians behave like animals. Only behaves normal when abroad.

I hope people don’t blame that eye sore on the government like it’s the government who disposed it there on the road.
Animals or not, one of the responsibilities of any government is to make and enforce laws.

If they can't do that, they won't be able to curtail the excesses of the masses.

Yes, the Obi Effect made him win the governorship election. But I think he has done enough to merit a second term regardless of which party he chooses.
Don't you think?

PoliticsRe: Pastor Adeboye Dedicates Uche Secondus' New Mansion In Port Harcourt (Video) by LeopardX: 10:29am On Jan 28
ZACHIE:
Would Pa Adeboye cut the balloon of the house of an honest worker, built with sweat, fasting and dedicated commitment to probity and fair trade?

The house would probably be too small to command his attention. Seun Kuti might be right, after all.

Money rules over the affairs of men
Not holding brief for him, as I'm not even a member, but he visited a very local branch of his church last year. Uninvited probably.

So, if said worker have access to him and invites him privately, he might show up, who knows?

Imindmybusiness:
I don't think he released that document to the US just for the money. He was likely blackmailed for shady deals including taking bribes from junior officers in exchange for promotion. This is why I'm worried about our T-pain. If you are into shady deals and the US finds out, they may be blackmailing you to do their bidding. As it is now, Nigeria as a country may not even have a single secret, if you know you know.
There is no shady deal involving Tinubu that will be enough to cause him to be impeached here in Nigeria.

Maybe just enough to help him cooperate so he would have freedom of movement and not be Maduro-ed.
Foreign AffairsRe: Germany Offers €1m Reward For Arrest Of Militants Behind Berlin Blackout by LeopardX: 1:48pm On Jan 27
So these terrorists now have a new name: far left militant groups.

Just like terrorists were rebranded as bandits here in Nigeria.

Toh.
PoliticsRe: Sanwo-olu, Ezekwesili Clash Over Makoko Demolitions by LeopardX: 11:36am On Jan 21
People have been living there for decades and it would be hard for them to restart life.

The Lagos state government is very cruel for doing this.

I hope the affected people will respond appropriately at the polls next year.

Too much ogogoro or pills in the system, I suspect.

Not everything is spiritual.

Right now, I just drank Guinness small stout (the can) and I can feel my heart beating faster than normal.

Imagine drinking this rubbish everyday?

If she's not, then Goodluck to her.

I don't know her enough to judge.
