I never knew people do gate crash a job interview till I got on nairaland. Have read several stories of people gate crashing an interview here. For those who don't know what gate crashing an interview means, it means going for an interview you were not invited for, but you find out about the details, maybe from someone who was invited. So I would like to know if there is anybody that has ever gate crash an interview before, or have you gotten a job through an interview you gate crashed. Have never gate crashed an interview before and I don't blame anybody who has, because of the situation in this country, desperate times require desperate measures.

It's very much possible when the test invite format is a text message. But if it's email with some password or code, it can't work.
I attempted 6 last year...Passed 2, failed one, wasn't allowed @ two, and left in annoyance cos they were delaying us @ one. A good point to note is that these guys knew we were gatecrashers. For those 2 I passed, they just had compassion on us after begging, etc.

Note: All these were tests, not interview.

After NYSC, I didn't bother applying for jobs. I kept a close eye on the thread that has the legend of the gatecrasher i.e Lero15 and funny enough we gatecrash about 4 tests together. I got my present job from the 4 tests.

You can't gate crash test/interview in a well-structured company cus names of invitees are always documented and sent to the security post or reception.

Yes, it's very possible... especially if it's a test.
