Before joining the APC, Bukola Saraki was the political leader of PDP in Kwara state, who was allowed the perogative to produce his successor, of course it wasn't an easy battle, he had to confront his own father.
His father, the great "Oloye" wanted his sister Gbemisola as the next governor, but Bukola felt that would be unfair to the rank of their followers and would breed hopelessness amongst them, besides he had to seriously consider the Ilorin Emirate clear body language of not being prepared for a female governor, especially a "single" one.
He prevailed over his dad and installed his own successor.

In the then PDP government, he was given a ministerial slot(Minister of Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi) and a first class board position(Chairman, Nigerian Railways Corporation, Kawu Baraje) to fill with his supporters. Both men resigned their positions from the GEJ led PDP government,when their leader Bukola Saraki decamped to APC.

As the APC leadership structure began taking shape, each of the legacy parties of ANPP, CPC, ACN, APGA (partly) was picking up the prime positions except the nPDP.

From the aforementioned arrangement, nPDP members were not to be entrusted with any of the above influencial party or government positions.
Atiku and Saraki clearly got the message.

Harold D Lasswell defined "Politics as who gets what, when and how".

Atiku wanted to be BOT chairman just like Tinubu, till today due to too many intrigues, that position remains unoccupied in APC. Atiku for lack of an official position of influence within the APC eventually left the party.

Saraki was not going to give up all his political gains in PDP for nothing, for him it was time for deft political manoeuver. He knew with Tinubu controlling the largest block of the APC senators, especially from the South West and North East, he would never emerge as Senate president, he remembered vividly that it was Tinubu who ensured his father-in-law, Otunba Adekunle Ojora did not become the Oba of Lagos, even though he was highly favoured to be. The late Oba Oyekan had even written a letter endorsing Otunba Ojora as his successor, but that was jettisoned and Tinubu's choice was crowned.

Bola Tinubu is more than a smart politician, he has a knack for "seeing the future" politically and he knew on time that Bukola Saraki was groomed only for the top and he had to be watched, hence he could not afford to have a Saraki exerting influence in Lagos politics if his father-in-law becomes the Oba of Lagos, which could likely be his decision to support the emergence of the current Oba of Lagos.
It is worthy of note that Bukola Saraki's wife, Toyin, is the daughter of billionaire Prince Adekunle Ojora, who was Chairman AGIP, Nigeria Limited for 31years, who was highly favoured to be the Oba of Lagos, the matter is still subject to litigation till this very day.

With this facts in mind, the only route to a possible emergence of Bukola Saraki as Senate President was to enter into a pact with the PDP, the respected two time Senate President David Mark was on hand to ensure that all PDP senators supported and voted for Saraki, as long as Ike Ekweremadu, David Mark's former Deputy was voted for as Deputy Senate President.
The "coup" succeeded and Saraki emerged, he has just completed a very turbulent tenure as Senate President but the charismatic Saraki had the support of most of his colleagues and has emerged unscathed.

As the 8th senate comes to a close today. Ipso facto,it can be said that Senate President Bukola Saraki has led the most result oriented Senate since 1999.

The number is so much and their placements would hinder the promotion of existing staff. The initial plan was to recruit more GT and few EH.

This brings to light the question I asked my interviewers. Just as if I knew employing experienced hires will be a problem to most old Staff.

In fact, one of them tried to answer, the other just laughed it off and said ''if we don't employ experienced people, you will not have a chance''

The truth of the matter is that dpr has not call anyone yet. But you can choose whatever you want to believe. You people should also be careful, I am afraid scammers could succeed in trapping some of you.

Let me clarify the call here. Sometimes ago, immediately after the interview to be precise, my dad gave my details to one of his friends, who happens to be a retired boss at one of the oil and gas company. So after about 10 days later, I received a call from someone in Abuja. He ask me to confirm my ID, position applied for, email address and some other things. At the end of the call he told me that it was his former boss that gave him my details, and they will help process for me. But he emphasise that it's not guaranteed to get it, because only those who did well in both the test and interview will be considered. That it's impossible to help anyone unless they performed well. He asked me to pray.
So, why am I sharing this story Now? It's simple, to clarify the recent calls people are reporting. The call is not in any way guaranteed a placement at dpr. In fact, I know anyone here whose name was somehow submitted will get such call. And I believe the only reason why I get the call was to make my father believe they are helping. Because deep down I have someone who know someone that feed us what's happening time to time. So the truth is, there are thousands of requests from different people and the dpr wants to employ only the competent. But yeah, u can choose whatever you want to believe.

This week Updates :
- FCC has approved the list.
- The reason for the delay is not even political Lol. As I said in my previous post, dpr works like DSS. They will surprise many of you. The list will be released when you least expect it

Finally, when they start calling for real, many people will testify. Once again, the importance of prayers cannot be over emphasize. More update will come when they are ready. Peace.

It is cost effective for him to use the Gulfstream jet for his states visits than using the B737 especially as he didn't go with large entourage. Watch out he will use it during his forth coming trip to the UK tomorrow.

I'm referring to NAF001, the Boeing Business Jet 737.

Since he started his condolence trip to some select States, he never used the NAF 001, but a Gulfstream, one of the two in the fleet which is dedicated to the VP.

Initially, I thought it had to do with the size of of runway in those States, but he didn't use the jet to Lagos for Tinubu's birthday.

Let's watch and see what Jet is taking him to London.

For the person that says the list will go through NASS, and for the people that support that, I have just one question for you.

What will the national assembly do with the list?

Are you saying it going to go to the senate or HOR or both have a joint session just like when the president is presenting the budget, so as just to pass the list of successful candidates?

Why dnt you just say they will invite the 400 successful candidates and screen them one after the other just the way ministers are screened?

National Assembly has nothing to do with the list. Not even the house or senate committee on petroleum.

The only way they can get involved, is request / beg the authorities in DPR that their candidates be taken and those ones have the right to refuse, especially if it's just a mere senator or HORM and not a ranking one.

Your best bet of getting in is knowing someone in authority in DPR, NNPC or MPR. Offcourse the presidency included.
