@Nihilist
Whenever i heard the mention of Animal farm, the first quote that comes to mind is "all animals are equal but some animals are more equal". When i first read the book as a teen, i enjoyed it just for the imagery and fell in luv with it. Now, i have to go back and re-read it in other to get the clear massage George Orwell was trying to pass. tnks

Where is this happening? I've been thinking a lot on entrepreneurship in the past months, and any seminar or conference that will educate me more is a welcomed idea.

How can some others be ridiculously rich in the same society where a majority are wallowing in abject poverty and lack?

Good work, bro.
seconded!

I read it as a youth.
It's honestly not even that long sef.
My Dad's copy comprised of 3 volumes, each roughly around the same size as a bible.
The Harry Potter Volumes for instance, are much larger in scope and size, especially the arc from the Goblet of Fire to Deathly Hallows.
Another lengthy contemporary Novel/Saga I can think of is Stephen King's 'the Stand'.
Honestly, those volumous novels are very interesting to read. you just get lost in them & dont want dem to end e.g LONDON the novel. its biger than ur bigest Oxford dictionary but very interesting. u seem like a vast reader to me?

Leo Tolstoy - War and Peace
Alexander Pushkin - The Captain's Daughter.
Marx/Engels - The Communist Manifesto.
According to wikipedia Tolstoy's peace and war is epic and regarded as one of the most important works of world literature. I also heard its one of the longest written novels.
How long did it take you to read it??

PoliticsRe: How America Gets It Right By Catching Them Young And Lessons For Nigeria by letsbet(m): 8:07am On Jul 09, 2015
It takes the Energy of the Young and the wisdom of the Elders to win a war.

Youths are the thriving forces in the development of any nation that became great. use Isreal as a case study, the majority of thier scientists are youths. there carry out reserches, build machines, create apps and softwares, they build weapons like tanks for thier government. those goods created had been one of isrealis major source of revenue and there are doing fine.

I read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki a few months back and honestly speaking i tend to base most of my thoughts around ideas found in the book. right now, before i buy anything I think about how needful it is to my development and its impact on my finances. I used to be real bad at spending money till i read that book. Can you tell us any book that really impacted you in any way? be it novels, fictions, motivationals or any book at all.

I personally is scared of war, So for that reason, we must continue to live in zoo, intimidated by fellow mortals because there are from the north? We have been exploited all in the name of one Nigeria. Taken for granted, marginalised, maimed for being Christians. Oh com on, drop the goddamn fear.

Its better you live for something or you die for something, than to live for nothing. I'm not a philosopher thou.
You are not a philosopher so stfu and stop talking like one. who lives in the zoo? what can you die for?.stop these rants it cant change a damn thing. war is the worst act ever invented.
