I don't like to meddle into political affairs or concerning someone private issues. Nigeria politicians are not worth dying or fighting for cos almost all of them are after their own interests.

I have read articles and comments about this Natasha and Akpabio issue both in Nairaland and other social media platforms, everyone with their own views and opinions, either supporting Natasha or Akpabio, even those that don't know the full story also jump into conclusions judging from sentiments aspect.

However, delicate issues especially when it comes to "sexual harassment" is not something one should look and judge sentimentally cos the impunity you support might be your portion some day.

In my own view concerning this issue,I perceived that Senator Natasha doesn't want to open up or bring up the so called sexual harassment report if Senator Akpabio has not been frustrating her efforts in the house.

Therefore, as adults, you can approach a woman you like for maybe intimacy, is not a crime, but if she turns down your advances towards her and afterwards you start frustrating or intimidating her because of your position is oppression. Senator Natasha may have wanted to sweep her encounters with the Senate President under the carpet as an understanding adult if not for the frustration and intimidation the SP has metted on her in the house.

I think the only option left for her is to use the sexual harassment stuff to gain her freedom from the grip of the SP, but unfortunately for her, the reverse was the case. She should have just comply to the sitting arrangement first, then later table the petition concerning the sexual harassment issue.

I hate injustice and oppression, we all have daughters, wives and mothers, in as much as women always use sexual harassment/assault as their defense, we should also not rule out the possibility of men also trying to take advantage of women too for their own selfish desires.

I rest my case.
