How is democracy dead? A governor cannot decide for House members which party they belong to, only the court can decide such an issue.
Even if they say it out loud that they are leaving until all needed steps are taken, they are still member of the PDP.
Also, leaving a party does not translate to losing a seat. That issue was decided many years ago, and many politicians have changed parties without losing their offices; why should their case be different?
