helinues: Please imagine question from a potential Presidential candidate.
Peter Obi can never be Nigeria president, never. This is not out of hatred but his clueless about things
what is wrong with the question?
as a citizen of nigeria. does obi not have the right to critiize government?
since you are not clueless, can you not negate what he said with facts?
tinubu that is president, HOW has he successfully tackled corruption, nepotism, cronyism, hunger, unemployment, hardship, poverty, inflation, wasteful government spending, budget padding, insecurity, bad governance, failing public infrastructure, poor medial services and falling standard of education?
Putindbutt: Is this not the same fraud that is always boasting of saving billions of money for Anambra yet he left Anambra poorer than he met them, achievee nothing as Governor. So why can't the President also boasts of achieving his non-oil revenue targets for the year in record time?
are you therefore saying that obi is now the standard which tinubu must live up to and be declared successful in governance?
seunmsg: If not that i don’t want to derail the thread, I will post over 1000 people from the south east who have been arrested all over the world for drug trafficking.
If not for the fact that shamelessness is no longer the order of the day, no single person from the SE of Nigeria should be able to come on a public forum to accuse other people of drug trafficking. We all know that 90% of drug traffickers in Africa are from a particular part of the country and they even glorify it.
but have you not already derailed the thread when you started with this?
seunmsg: Peter Obi has not said anything about the conviction of Simon Ekpa for terrorism in Finland. He was quick to call for the arrest of K1 for a minor airplane altercation simply because K1 is a Yoruba man but he has been deaf and dumb to a major criminal conviction for terrorism simply because the criminal is Igbo. This is the mindset this guy wants to take to the presidency. A president that will protect drug traffickers, fake spare part dealers, fake pharmaceutical dealers, and even protect criminal separatists simply because they are from his region.
For the sake of Nigeria’s sanity, everything must be done to endure this guy never gets an inch near Aso Rock. By the way, when is he suing Deji Adeyanju for defamation?
how are all you stated relevant to the topic?
if there are things obi said that you do not agree with, can you not higlight them and speak on them?
omenka: The reason they want him isn't because they believe he's the best for the job, it is because they believe he's the WORST. They've never hidden their hatred for Nigeria and they imagine there's no better way to punish Nigeria than have someone like Gringori govern it.
so HOW has tinubu successfully tackled corruption, nepotism, cronyism, hunger, unemployment, hardship, poverty, inflation, wasteful government spending, budget padding, insecurity, bad governance, failing public infrastructure, poor medial services and falling standard of education?
are the lives of nigerians better off today that they were in 2023?
omenka: I can bet my very last spermatozoa this man is an ipob grand patron. The signs are very clear. When it flies like a canary and sings like one, chances are it is a canary.
See how painted ol' man is. I wonder where he got his advice from this time.
how is all you said related to the points obi raised?
phemray: Which questions? You can answer it yourself because it's clear and loud everywhere that people are coming out of poverty and many jobs are created both directly or indirectly.
Or, maybe you want government to invite nairaland and showing them one by one. No it's visible, and measurable.
Obi is a boy!. Sincerely this guy knows nothing about governance. No wander his 8 years has no enduring legacies record.
what are the many jobs that are being created?
can you list them?
what are those "visible and measureable" things you are referring to?
since you know a lot about governance, HOW has tinubu successfully tackled corruption, nepotism, cronyism, hunger, unemployment, hardship, poverty, inflation, wasteful government spending, budget padding, insecurity, bad governance, failing public infrastructure, poor medial services and falling standard of education?
Nazgul: The man should have just stopped and given them something the moment they grabbed his steering wheel. I'm not supporting what the touts did to him. I'm seriously against them. But when you're in a lawlessness country like Nigeria where touts would be threatening people's lives and police would be at the next junction extorting from those who survived the touts, you'd have to apply wisdom.
He was in the car with his wife and kid(s) how much was the money they were demanding for that he had to gamble with his family?
I remember one time I dropped a friend off at Anthony under bridge, he wanted to climb the hill to access the express so I moved in to drop him off. As he came down and left, one rugged tout started running towards me, I wanted to zoom off then I noticed he carried a very big stone, I just stopped and gave him N500 yes you heard me right. Five hundred naira which he collected and walked away. Imagine if I had stubbornly tried to zoom off and he had shattered my windshield, it would have cost me up to 200k to replace it. But I applied wisdom and paid just 500 and left peacefully.
We should learn how to apply wisdom. Everything shouldn't be about aggression cos these touts have nothing to lose. I've seen them pull down a conductor from a moving bus. They're ready to fight and die. So dragging with them isn't a wise option.
May their souls rest in peace.
touts have nothing lose. how then did one of them lose his life?
stuffs2002: As long as Tinubu is destroying Obi's political career, I am happy with him
stuffs2002: As long as Tinubu is destroying Obi's political career, I am happy with him and that is the reply I will give you
stuffs2002: By dismantling Peter Obi's political career.
are you sure you understand the question?
HOW has tinubu successfully tackled corruption, nepotism, cronyism, hunger, unemployment, hardship, poverty, inflation, wasteful government spending, budget padding, insecurity, bad governance, failing public infrastructure, poor medial services and falling standard of education?
flexyrule: Caitlyn Jenner is Rob Kardashian's stepmother; Rob's mother, Kris Jenner, married Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner) after her divorce from Rob's father, Robert Kardashian. Therefore, Caitlyn Jenner is the mother of Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and the stepmother to Rob Kardashian.
I googled the name and had an interesting read.
The Kardashians have always been a big name... Nepo babies!
Their father was a friend of O.J. Simpson. He represented him during the popular murder trial.
Rick Ross mentioned him in his verse in The Game's song "Ali Bomaye" where he and 2 Chainz were featured.
"I take my case to trial, hire the Dream Team Robbie Kardashian, Johnnie Cochran"
stuffs2002: By dismantling Peter Obi's political career.
are you sure you understand the question?
HOW has tinubu successfully tackled corruption, nepotism, cronyism, hunger, unemployment, hardship, poverty, inflation, wasteful government spending, budget padding, insecurity, bad governance, failing public infrastructure, poor medial services and falling standard of education?
chieveboy: Actually there is nothing new under the sun. Humans have evolved in genetics to even make huma-horses and other noble and mundane configurations.
You must have seen some depictions of this in Babylonian arts of which Babylon is even a beaten-down less-evolved civilization.
What you describe above is just the tidbits of what's to come.
We will even be able to create bodies and invite consciousness (Soul) to occupy it and became a fully normal human.
All those who think man is offending a deity out there by tweaking their biologies asre just myopic and do not even know what other beings are doing in other planets and dimensions.
Myopia and ignorance is a plague we al suffer from.
Have you seen these "huma-horses and other noble and mundane configurations"?
isholamedoo: Hmmm. Nawa o. The problem with electricity in Nigeria now is not peculiar everywhere. I can say boastfully that I enjoy over 12hrs daily where I stay. But I'm not sure is the same everywhere sha.
And on the bank issue, what if you opt for ussd code if app fails to do the work? Just thinking out loud!!!
EmperorIsaac: Obama remains one of the brightest creatures of God on earth...very brilliant. I listened to the speech he gave by heart in honor of Mandela in South Africa and was left in awe. He still remains the best president that would ever rule America.
What did he do as president that made him "the best president that would ever rule America"?
Brendaniel: And those that supported Buhari for 8 years and rewarded Tinubu by supporting him for his role in supporting Buhari to destroy Nigeria will now be called what?
The bigger question people like you should be asking is why a whole state government is agitated about an unknown person's tweet, terrorists are throwing party with threats on Tik Tok and the government isn't concerned, a lady tweets her own opinion without threats but they are agitated and you people are here t o promote it.
What has terrorists throwing threats got to with the special assistant responding to the lady's misleading tweet?
Is the special assistant responsible for making sure terrorists do not issue threats?
stuffs2002: As long as Tinubu is destroying Obi's political career, I am happy with him and that is the reply I will give you
That's is very good but HOW has tinubu successfully tackled corruption, nepotism, cronyism, hunger, unemployment, hardship, poverty, inflation, wasteful government spending, budget padding, insecurity, bad governance, failing public infrastructure, poor medial services and falling standard of education?
stuffs2002: As long as Tinubu is destroying Obi's political career, I am happy with him
Thats not what I asked you.
HOW has tinubu successfully tackled corruption, nepotism, cronyism, hunger, unemployment, hardship, poverty, inflation, wasteful government spending, budget padding, insecurity, bad governance, failing public infrastructure, poor medial services and falling standard of education?
ufotunang: ..let Nigerians and government make their country better and good and all this japa to USA and the insults, deportation, embarrassment Nigerians receive from them will reduce and stop... simple
you maybe right but my question is how do all these people whose visas were cancelled pose a threat to US national security?
