Purge yourself of the hate in your heart.

pembisco: Everything question was answered. How you understand the answer depends on your IQ. For instance, it is said less than 100k doctors attend to more than 200m Nigerian population. Does that mean all Nigerians fall sick at once? It is low of you to even imagine all the 1500 civil servants in the clinic fall sick at once, that was why I gave an example with average attendance of 30-50 patients per day. No need for these I too know you trying hard to portray. Like I said, I'm not defending any politician there, I even told you that it'll be shocking to know that it is even the civil servants in that clinic who embezzle most of these funds. This is your initial response. pembisco: In as far as the amount allocated is outrageous, Aso rock clinic like any other government house clinic caters for all the staff working there. And yes there are civil servants working in those places, the security personnel, the clinic medical staff etc are all civil servants and have access to the clinic when the need arises. Also note that consultations, laboratory investigations, drugs etc are all free as far as you have access to those clinics. I'm not defending these politicians embezzling state funds, just want to give an inside on how these works.
Because services in those clinics are rendered free, the money allocated is actually justified IF and only IF it is untilized in all honesty. Just imagine running a clinic for a whole year without collecting a dime from any patient and you have patient load of 30-50 per day. This can give you an idea of the cost. But this is Nigeria, the money is embezzled and those accessing services in the clinics end up getting little to nothing in terms in proper diagnosis and treatment...hence the reason Aisha Buhari once complained of lack of Panadol in the Aso rock clinic. It might shock you to know that the people embezzling these monies are the civil servants working in those clinics, I mean the top civil servants. where in your response above did you answer the following questions? 1. are these 1500 personnel always sick? 2. how did you come by this figure? 3. which civil servants work "around aso villa"? 4. since you acknowledge that aso villa clinic is for the president and his family, how come buhari didnt use it and tinubu is not using despite such huge allocations to it? 5. if N1.33b can be allocated for aso villa for 1500 civil servants, how much is allocated to say the federal medical centre that deals with a much higher number of visitors and patients? |

emkz: The passing of Buhari speaks to the fragility of human life.
One thing must be said: Buhari is not returning like a cargo; he returns escorted by the highest level of government. A retinue of soldiers are awaiting to give him the higest honour to a military general. This is real pulling out of Buhari. He did not die in disgrace. He died after completing his tenure and sometimes taking drastic decisions to keep the unity of Nigeria intact.
What many may not remember was that some countries refused to sell arms to Nigeria. As such, the military was ill-equipped to tackle the insurgency which did not start under Buhari. When Buhari came into power, he had a meeting with Donald Trump who reverse Obama's policies and sold the super tucano jets to Nigeria. Arms were also sold to Nigeria and we started giving the insurgents a bloody nose. Will buhari be sitting in the plane that will fly him to Nigeria or he will be put in the cargo compartment of the plane along with the luggage of the passengers? |

If buhari was too special for Nigerian hospitals, why is he not too special to be thrown into the ground in Nigeria? |

Gbogboski: 1. The dangote refinery should not have been in lekki, the original location at Ondo was more suitable.Thousands of tankers transiting to and fro lekki is a disaster unfolding. Dangote have submitted plans for a new seaport in Olokola,Ogun state. That's way forward. 2.It is a contributory factor. Functional seaports should be a given in other locations along the coastline. 3. Lekki seaport is still a work in progress at full capacity it will add to more congestion on Lagos road. 4. Lagos is overwhelmed by population from other states, there's little they can do about it. Fashola attempted deportation but didn't work. 5. Schools and hospitals in Lagos are terribly overcrowded.A 20 minutes commute can take 4 hours.lagos go slow can reduce your life expectancy. There's never enough quality accomodations to go round. A sizable chunk of Lagos is slum unfit for human habitation. We are talking of 20M people in a 3500 square km landmass. 1. which seaport and major industries (plural) project is presently going on in Lagos? where in Ogun and Oyo should seaports be situated? 2. is it seaport that is making Lagos overpopulated? simple yes or no 3. is Lekki Port off stream? yes or no 4. did Lagos say that it needs help? 5. how did "overpopulation" in Lagos affect "schools, accomdation, hospitals and transportation"? 6. did you look for schools, accomdation, hospitals and transportation in lagos and you did not get? 7. what is the "etc"? |

ZoomTravels: Go school you talk say no. Now I am not saying this numbers are true for Nigeria as heaven knows these people lie on a daily basis but Forex inflow (foreign exchange inflow) suggests progress for a country because it indicates increased foreign investment, exports, remittances, or tourism. This brings more foreign currency into the economy, which can strengthen the local currency, boost economic growth, improve the balance of payments, and build foreign reserves. Overall, higher forex inflow reflects global confidence in the country’s economy.
