Money for tuition balance +maintenance has been in the bank account for 30 Days.

If I go ahead to print the banks statement now, but part of the money is removed later. I need help with this question.

When UKVI agent is verifying the bank statement, do they also confirm if the total amount? Or just the transaction and amount as at when the bank statement is printed?

Application will be submitted within 10 days time.

Please avoid misleading people.
Only professionals in subjects listed on the UK shortage occupation list ; Modern Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, Mandarin), Physics, and Mathematics have better prospects of securing a sponsorship visa.
If your background is in Business Education, Computer Education, or Biology Education, even with QTS, it may be difficult to obtain visa sponsorship.
Furthermore, subjects on the PGCE shortage list are eligible for up to £25,000 in bursary scholarships under the UK’s Train to Teach program

Yes the Xero and sometimes Xero Me software is very common. Although I am not into finance, but I use the app. I have worked for 3 multinational companies in the in the UK. They all used it for payroll, payslips, timesheets, and expenses claim.

And they like employment hero for HR duties.

Cos most ask if u know this softwares.

Hello everyone, sorry for the long write up.
I’m in a tough situation and would really appreciate your thoughts.

I’m 25 years old, and ever since I got an unconditional admission offer my father has been determined to sell his only house to fund my travel to the UK. Despite my repeated attempts to convince him otherwise, he insists that this is the best way to secure my future. While I deeply appreciate his sacrifice and belief in me, I can’t help but worry about the risks.

Selling his only home means he will have nowhere to fall back on if things don’t go as planned. And as much as I want to explore better opportunities abroad, I don’t want to see him struggle or regret this decision later.

What would you do in my situation? Do you think this sacrifice is worth it? I’d love to hear different perspectives, especially from those who have been in a similar position or understand the realities of starting over in a new country.

let,s approach this strategically, first off , in terms of business expansion , the travel plans itself would take your business beyond borders and avail you the opportunity of introducing your business to a new set of people as well and directly increasing your market potential thereby enhancing your business growth trajectory.....

That said and done , YOU dont need to apply for two student Visas all you have to do is apply for one visa in, apply for a research based course from a reputable school, this courses are generally referred to as MRES, with this program , you would be able to take your whole family to the UK , i'll advise going for the two years option of this course if available , with this option , your spouse can work full time while you work part time during study periodss , if you've got kids , your kids would have access to free education and health care .......after the program, you just go ahead and apply for PSW (Post Study Work Visa)....... this is another two years visa , after that , go for skilled worker Visa , after 5 years , apply for your ILR ...Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)

Years 1–2: Complete your MRes program on a Student Visa. ( 2 Years)
Years 3–4: Stay in the UK on the Graduate Route Visa. (PSW Visa)
Years 4–5: Transition to a Skilled Worker Visa and start accumulating time toward ILR. (Skilled Worker Visa)
End of Year 5: Apply for ILR after completing 5 years of qualifying residency. (ILR)

and definitely there are documentations you'd need to start off and its advisable that applicant for the MRES program has good grades (Second CLass Upper Preferably

My sister submitted her student application since June 24th and on 27th they schedule her for online interview for 5th of July immediately after the interview she was asked to resend her statement of account which she did immediately since then nothing have been said and the passport is still pending showing received by DMC . Has anybody experienced such delay before

Please, is police report no longer a requirement for student visa? All the people that have listed the documents they submitted to obtain their visa never mentioned that they submitted police report. Pls your responses will be appreciated.

I was told you have to pay 77k for priority to get a close date and 19k for courier? I'm confused please, it would be nice to have a straightforward timeline with an accurate list of future payments so that I can plan better 🙏🏾

My masters program runs from July 2024 to June 2026. So while filling in all my details on the uk website, it brought back my IHS fee as 2559.16 USD.

Please is this accurate or i didn't do the filling properly

I was trying to pay on the tlscontact site for priority and prime time over the weekend. the priority payment went through but I couldn’t complete the payment for the prime time with my naira card because of otp issues so the whole payment was cancelled but the priority payment has already been deducted from my account and has not been refunded till now. I called my bank this morning and they said I should get through first with tls that the money has left my account.
Please how do I go about this, because I can’t see any customer care number on their page.

Hello guys, I was given a sponsorship award to study in the UK, the award covers the full tuition and living expenses . I was also promised by the government to be employed after the course in the UK. I am also eligible to add dependant but I'm single.
After reading the warnings about the issues Nigerian students are going through in the UK at the moment is it advisable to go to the UK, it's the biggest opportunity I have recieved.

My current financial situation is such that I don't even have the Visa fees and NHS fees due to exchange rate, can anyone advice or assist me.

You are absolutely correct 💯. Studying at UK is fine for people that have >80 percent of the school fees sorted. Not at hand, but actually paid to the school to avoid those devaluation stories similar to the Teeside students.

Teeside University and other universities is not responsible for the devaluation of naira. They voted and saw what they want! Nigerian always like to shift blame. Teeside university already have Thier budget, plan and forecast for the year.

You are working for 20hrs weekly and you think you can pay the school fees, break even, send money home and get a return on investment while on study visa. It is unrealistic!

The bad thing about working on 20hours p/w is that most of the time it is usually not even complete at the exact 20hrs. (Most people can relate with this) If you claim to have faith or you sabi pray, why the grace no work for you in Naija.

Agents will collect Thier money once off and clear. So if the agents advise people, people need to be realistic


It will be nice to stop playing the blame game once and take responsibility for your decisions.

People are doing more than one job to survive and one wants to use 20 hours of work to pay the balance of tuition fees and living expenses.

Then Emdee Tiamiyu
Now cumulatively tens of thousands of Nigerian students across universities being unable to pay up fees

I foresee Nigerian students being shadow-blocked by a good number of UK universities in the very near future.

Not a good look at all.

Do proper research before choosing a uni now, they're not taking it easy with foreign students as was that case just 12-18 months ago
