Or at least one of that trio.

It's better we kuku lost yesterday than to get to the final and lose against Varchester utd. Na that one go pain pass.

You always have a chance. You shouldn’t have won 4-3 at the Bridge but you won. Same thing may happen in the FA cup final. It probably won’t happen tho.

The only way to win a match is to outscore your opponent. You cannot out-cleansheet an opponent - if both teams keep a cleansheet, it's called a draw.

West Ham have conceded 6 goals more than Chelsea this season and are higher in the log with -6 goal difference.

Newcastle that has conceded the same 52 goals are in 6th place. Villa and Spurs that have conceded just 3 goals less than Chelsea are fighting for UCL positions.

When you look at the trends, except for a TWO outliers like West Ham and Manyoo, 6 out of the 8 teams above Chelsea have outscored Chelsea this season, with half of then conceding around the same number of goals we've conceded.

Meanwhile, nobody from 10th place down has scored up to us, with a a couple of teams having actually conceded less than Chelsea this season.

Without resorting to absolutist and reductive arguments like attack good, defence bad, it is clear to me that Chelsea’s problems stem not from an inability to lock up shop, but an inability to kill off games..which are slightly overlapping but entirely different concepts.

That's why I focus very heavily on Sheffield in my analysis. A team like Chelsea should be expecting to outscore rhe team with the worst defensive record in EPL history. Even if they score 1, they should be loaded with 2 more in response.

At one point yesterday, Burnley had the same 2-1 scoreline that we held against Sheffield. The difference is, instead of wasting attacks or not even attacking at all (Nicolas Jackson didn't even bother to shoot on or off target that day), Burnley went and pumped them 2 more.

If the 19th placed team in the league can beat Sheffield 9-1(home and away) this season, then how cam we be discussing defending against such a team? That's football anathema.

Thank God we all saw what Jackson did yesterday. Tomorrow now, someone will start spinning a narrative that City defence locked up shop for a 1-0 win, instead of tbe truth that if Jackson wasn't such a disgraceful attacker, we might have won that match 3-1

Sorry your dog died. Or sth like that

Name United starting 11 in our last 10 games and point out the players who were played out of position. Also why do this same players do well for country during International break, but become mediocre immediately they return to the club?

“Decent in their position” ≠ “Being played out of position”

Have United played any game this season with 8 players instead of 11 and more on the bench?

You can’t afford 8 fit players who are decent in their positions but you want the results of 11 fit players who are decent in their positions.

So why is Bruno, Garnacho, Onana, Mainoo, Dalot, Casemiro, McTom, Trashford not dieing like fowl battling this flu? Are the above mentioned players bring food from their homes and training at Cobham?
Is this flu the reason United does not have a defined style of play 2 years after Bald Fraud was appointed Manager?

Because you need 11 players to play a football game, not 8.

The era is even gone. We are gradually building solid structure under SJR and Manager ain't gonna be in charge of players signing again.

Can we actually blame Glazers for not signing top players for every manager after SAF?! Moyes wanted Fellaini, Mata he got it.

LvG was supported with 12 new players; Blind, Depay, Rojo, Herrera, Di Maria, Shaw, Schweinsteiger, Romero, Schleinderlin, Martial, Darmian - only to win just a FA Cup with boring football.

Mou got 11 new players; Sanchez, Grant, Bailly, Mkhtaryan, Lukaku, Lindelof, Dalot, Matic, Pogba, Fred and Ibrahimovic - what did he win with this solid squad?! Tier 2 trophies.

OGS was reinforced with 11 solid players; Maguire, Sancho, Bruno, Wan bisaka, Varane, DVB, Diallo, James, Ronaldo, Ighalo and Pelletri. What did he win?! Nothing.

Signing top players ain't ever our problem bro, Zizou can come around, sign 100 new players and still failed. What the club needs right now is restructuring and I am happy SJR is on right track.

ZeroHag was a top Manager with solid style of play before he joined us. What happens to his style of play and experience?! United happens to him as it happened to other top Managers like LvG and Mourinho.

I sincerely don’t understand how you’ll shout Ten Hag in to the high heavens when you witness his performance at Ajax and be immediately TenHag out because he’s being choked by United and your favorite player was not part of his plan.

Yes. We will turn on him if he fails.

Manchester United not coach united.

If you guys can turn on a club legend like
Ronaldo, then what's the issue?

We turned on Ronaldo or Ronaldo turned on the club by walking out during matches and creating unnecessary drama and pressure because he wasn’t allowed to play main man character?

It’s as if you people only look at things from one angle. I won’t be surprised if the only reason for your emotional outbursts is because of your perceived misgivings about the bad blood between him and the coaching staff.

Even Roy Keane had issues with the coaching staff. He never walked out on his teammates.

But how come all these things didn't affect the players during Ronaldo's stint under SAF?

Bombblacks:

I was just about to ask him how Ferguson used those same facilities to dominate before seeing your post.

Wasn’t that like 15-20 years ago when we were still using polyphonic ringtones?

20 years ago Carrington was a state of the art training center. It isn’t today. Other training centers have developed and caught up with it.

If you’re not using Ojabo Kofo as your main phone today why do you want the club you support to be stuck in the past?

Are you an enemy of progress?

Kindly tell us what the club/board did wrong since Ten Hag was appointed Manager?

I’m not going to turn my post into an impassioned all-round defense of Ten Haag. The man has his own issues.

My point is that United needs to be united on all fronts for there to be a modicum of success. We have a disjointed squad with players who don’t really get along with each other. Not to talk of beef between coach, and coach with the board and other departments.

Until everyone knows what their job is and faces it squarely we will keep wandering in the wilderness.

If you say “let’s just change the coach “ and everything will be fine, you’re not only silly, you’re also insane.

Cos how can you be doing the same one thing over and over and believe you’ll get a different result?

We need a complete upheaval in terms of players, coach, player scouting and recruitment, medical department, board, everything. The whole mentality around the club needs to change.

The only thing I’m happy with is the new management. They seem to be taking care of things from top to bottom instead of carrying out cosmetic surgery.

When it’s time for the quack doctors, physiotherapists, ETH and his coaches, plus some of these useless players to bounce, I hope the new management will have the guts to fully convert them into extra-bouncy tombolo.

I am not panicking na. I was just commenting on the injury report.

I think it will be Maguire and Casemiro. Mainoo, McTominay, Bruno in midfield.

Mount and Amrabat are injured again so Eriksen will be the only senior midfielder on the bench.

Academy players cannot thrash senior men. Not even academy of Messi, Ramos, Zidane. LOL

Probably going to be Case at CB. Or even Bruno.

Will still be an exercise in futility because we’ll lose to City eventually
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 10:26am On Apr 21
The funny thing is that a huge chunk of these guys clamoring for Zidane now will be the first ones to turn on him when he’s going through a rough patch. They will heap hot coals on his head for things that don’t concern him such as player injuries, bad behaviors, failure to control a pass, missing sitters, conceding last minute penalties, and even missing training.

You know what’s even funnier? It’s the same people who stuck it out with Ole, RR, Mourinho, ETH and co that will still defend him during those trying times.

I’m not saying anyone shouldn’t call for the head of any coach. But allowing your disappointment and sadness to cloud your sense of judgement on simple matters is embarrassing. Take a holistic view of the situation instead of observing things from your own biased pigeon hole.

The one thing you should’ve learned from the era of Mourinho, LvG and co is that for a club to be successful, it doesn’t take the players and coach alone. The whole club has to be involved. And if there’s friction in too many areas, for a big club like United, there’s no way they’ll be successful on the pitch.

This is crazy. If this was Liverpool or another club, the sympathy campaign on TV would be so crazy.

What's the manager supposed to build on with all these injuries. Really hope all of these badluck ends this season.

We had a chance to buy Kim Min Jae for 40m Euros last summer. He went to Bayern eventually. We approached him first and he was on board.

Italian teams have done really well in Europe over the last couple of seasons.

Atalanta, Roma and Fiorentina are in the semis. Last season they had 3-5 teams getting to the semis as well.
