The bible does not in anywhere talks about COVERING OF HAIR, BUT COVERING OF HEAD. HEAD is different from HAIR. It also says that long hair can serve as covering to the head. The important thing is for every woman to appear modest and decent before God, and not use flashy hair to distract others in church.

Am not happy with what is going on in nigerian churches today, and I believe God is not happy with it either. Our church leaders should look into this and make necessary amendments. Churches obtain offerings, tithes and free donations from poor members and use the money to build housing estates, universities and set up different business enterprises for making profits. They collect high school fees, give out housing estates at high prizes such that an average church member cannot afford to put his children in those universities or rent the houses. Only rich people that may not even be members of the church enjoy and benefit from these. God says in the book of Malachi that bring all tithes into the storehouse SO THAT THERE MAY BE FOOD IN MY HOUSE. Today, there is no more food in God's house. Pastors convince members to pay their tithes, sow seed, make financial commitments whereas they use the money to do business that these poor members do not benefit from. My advice to church leaders is for them to cut down the school fees of their universities so that an average member can enjoy the facilities. They should lower the cost of the houses in the estates. Let there be food in God's house!

I experience the same thing with you. My own is even worse. I am the only son of my mum who is a second wife to my dad. I am also the youngest in the family. I have 3 elder step brothers and a step sister. My mum took us (me and my 2 sisters) and left my fathers house when the trouble was too much. We almost got burnt in the house when they set our room on fire. I was just 4 months old then. It was my sister that carried me out of the room. My step mum does not want to see us in my father's house. She uses both physical and diabolical means to fight us any time we go to our dad house for money.My mum single handedly trained us. My dad is late now and we have stayed away from the house.
