International Academy of Tourism in Antalya is a premier source of education in the field of Tourism and Hospitality, providing qualitative education in English and Russian, using international programmes, and helping students acquire not only theoretical, but also practical knowledge in the corresponding field.
The strength of the Academy of Tourism in Antalya lies in its curriculum, faculty, and facilities. Education lasts for two academic years, during this period students not only study courses associated with the field of expertise chosen, but also intensively learn English (English in Tourism and Business English) and Turkish. All programmes are available in Russian and English. Students who have Academy’s Diploma get BA degree in one academic year with one of the partner universities in Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany or Spain or continue education at the Academy. After two years of education students may change their qualification and choose any of the expertise:
BBA - Bachelor of Business Administration
BA - Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Public Relations
BA - Bachelor of Arts in Leisure & Tourism Management
BA - Bachelor of Arts in International Relations
BA - Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management
BS - Bachelor of Science in Business Finance
BS - Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Management
One of the major principles of education in the Academy is a combination of lectures, seminars and workshops with practical training in the best hotels, tourism agencies and tour operators of Antalya. In summer period students undergo internships in the chosen departments of a luxurious hotel or a tourism company. Internships are part of the curriculums. Academy is responsible for internships placements. Internships are paid and students are provided by food and accommodation for free during internships. The curriculum of one academic year is the following: 6 months of academic studies and 6 months of internships.
Admission procedure is very simple. An applicant should fulfill the attached forms and send the forms to the following e-mail ID: international2@antcol.com Along with the attached forms an applicant sends scanned copy of 12-year diploma, passport scanned copy, reference letter from school (if any). IELTS or TOEFL are not required, and applicant may have online exam in English or skype-interview to prove knowledge in English.
Applicants are not required to have any exams. But if an applicant wants to get a discount he or she may have an online exam in English and Math. An applicant chooses the date and the time of online examinations.
