please people, how do I locate/get to carlcare center at opebi from ogba?

so tecno decided to fool/trick you all that if you are rooted you can't do the update.....BIG lie!!!! a friend just dared tecno & nothing happened....me am not rooted anyways so I did the update

so tecno just remembered to role out H+ since August? Nawa ooo....soon dem go role out updates wey Kingroot go work with....dis 50 steps of Root ain't my way

finally!! the problem is I've been tryna root my phone since 3days ago. but whenever I connect my phone to the laptop it doesn't come up at all & I tried other phones & they worked well with the laptop. so am thinking it might be a problem from the phone & I've also turned on the debugging mode

Finally....
I can fully enjoy my C8..
Now I can minimise and resume up to 7 app, unlike before where 2 was an issue..

I am using Ram manager pro 7.2.0
More multitasking option tick set on boot reboot C8..

People complaining about tutorial on how to root
Most of us encounter different issue..
So our procedures might be different...

Here is my step
1. Download sp flash tool it's a zip file unzip it in a folder abt 50mb

2. Download Twrp for canon C8 its a zip also.. Unzip it abt 6mb

3. Download super user the one in zip. Put in on your SD card..4.69mb

The files u need is not up to 70MB

You can get all these file by Google..

Then Google how to install mtk vcom driver manually.. YouTube I actually downloaded it..
Even the mtk vcom driver is less than 10 MB

Now run sp flash tool as administrator...
Load the scatter file which is in the Twrp folder u already unzipped..
In that same twrp folder there is recovery image..
So only recovery will be ticked in the option listed
Click on download..at the top stop is next to it..


Then connect C8 turned off..with the USB..to your PC.. I used a windows Tab actually.. With OTG..
So I had some issue with connect port which I solve by clicking options on the sp flash tool...go to connection.. I changed to usb..

Once u connect Under 1 minutes you will see a successful notification..
You can disconnect your phone...

Now You can press and hold Vol+ with power button.. To boot into twrp recovery ..
You need to be a techie to work on this...May be I used a different TWRP
Try to navigate to where you will see install.. Then change storage to where you downloaded the superuser in zip
Click on it
There are two options to tick
Then continue.
Once its successful...
Navigate to reboot
Mine hanged I press and hold power button then I press power button to on normally..

The moment I saw Superuser installed..
I did not bother to download any root check
Straight to my ifont
And I download RAM manager pro 7.2.0
More multitasking
Then reboot...

No more story....
C8 Rocks, I think It was optimized for more free ram by default..

I tried hard multitasking it hanges so I went back to more multitasking...

My candy crush now resumes..
The phone is 1 GB RAM yes..
We all saw the specifications beforehand..
I'm now experiencing what I expected from a 1GB RAM phone

Tecno una no try at all.. U cannot fix common RAM manager by a simple update...
Anyways I ve learnt alot
Now I can get marshmallow update.. I'm in charge of my C8.. Since I lost my warranty already..

I just succeeded in rooting my phone after temporarily bricking it. I will be posting the procedure here. Nobody should be afraid of bricking his camon c8 because 1, the phone is cheap and it's a crappy rubbish , 2, stock rom for the camon c8 can now be downloaded at romkingz.net. to unbrick it. Now to the procedure.. Download the files, install mtk vcom drivers, open sp flash tool on your pc and run as Administrator, load scatter file, click on download, now connect your already turned off camon c8 to the computer via USB. Wait for the green pass mark to appear...... THE IMMEDIATELY BOOT TO RECOVERY. NOTE THAT IF YOU SIMPLY TURN ON YOUR PHONE AFTER FLASHING THE RECOVERY FULE, ANDROID WILL REPLACE YOUR FLASHD RECOVERY WITH THE ORIGINAL STOCK RECOVERY....... after booting into recovery, twrp recovery will come up and ask you if you want to modify recovery. Swipe to modify else it will be replaced on next reboot. Note also... DON'T ATTEMPT TO ALLOW THE TWRP TO INSTALL ITS OWN SUPER SU IF IT ASKS YOU TO, BECAUSE THAT WAS WHAT GOT MY PHONE BRICKED. INSTALL SUPER SU BY clicking on install, chose your zip file which contains the super su which you downloaded and install it. Reboot phone and wait for it to boot up. Might take a long while to. Just be patient

If this is what you call multitasking, then you really don't understand what we are complaining about. Why not try to go back to one of the apps you are running there and see if it won't restart. Try to minimize a game, run another app and switch back to the game you minimized and see if it won't restart

I just did what you wrote. played shadow fight for few minutes, minimizes & went back & lo my game was still there

He inferred I am raising issues that I could easily have solved because I am being myopic. Ironically, I have asked him to point out the issues which he was referring to and how he could have solved them if he were me. I am still waiting for his response. The wps was a software which someone suggested could act as a workaround to the multitasking problem since it is capable of retaining data even when it is forced close by the Camon c8 multi tasking problem. I may not have known since I had not personally used the software myself. I also brought up the bbm issue because normally,, bbm remains active on notification bar whenever you are on bbm, to get instant messages... That was how bbm is made to work. But with the tecno Camon c8 OS, bbm is closed by the multi tasking problem. Hence, you have to keep opening bbm every now and then. So I throw this problem to you since you said It's something I could have easily solved and that am being myopic.. So please, suggest a solution which is plausible. Please don't tell me to keep on starting the software every now and then because that's not a solution.

sincerely speaking, most of the problems you guys are pointing out doesn't affect my phone except multitasking & it only affect my browser I repeat my browser. whenever am on bbm and I decided to do something else on the phone, I still get bbm notifications. so I dunno anything you are talking about.

Why not suggest the solutions yourself since you claim to be far sighted. You have not even made your point clear. Is it the poor multitasking that can be solved by Camon c8 users? OK thanks brother. I just tried the wps office, although It closed after I minimised the app and started asphalt, when I went back to the WPS, it prompted me that the app closed unexpectedly and asked me if I wanted to recover the unsaved document. It was able to recover it. The bottom line here now is that what is that thing that forces apps to close when minimised even when there is enough ram still available.. I think that is the question tecno has to ask itself and work on. I am suspecting that the task killer app is highly been hyperactive and killing tasks unnecessarily. Have you guys noticed that even bbm which is made to run on notification also gets killed too?

I will advice you to go for C8 the phone is way above the it price...asides multitasking.... all is well with the phone

plus enjoying my front camera with the flash...yay!!!!
