He said i should stop any drugs, if I’m to take anything it should be Panadol, Paracetamol and be using a walker.
okeke6969:

Good to hear from you again.
I don't know much about that, but did the doctor gave you an alternative?
Health / Re: What Is The Cost Of Total Hip Replacement And Best Place To Do It In Nigeria by Light2023: 3:46am On May 02
I’ve stopped taking prednisolone because a doctor just told me it can cause same problem at other joints because it is a steroid.
okeke6969:
Thank God it stopped. Continue with the cucumber at least thrice in a week.
Concerning the drugs, sometimes, jump a full day and continue.
For example: take it mon, wed and sat.
Again, remember, this routine is just for pain relief.
If you have the money, still.visit the hospital or tradomedic for proper solution.

Your friend is not an ingrate. There is a 100% possibility his mum told him not to wear them, am saying this from my personal experience.

When i was in secondary school i had really poor clothes and shoes, anytime my friend gave me something better my mum will get very angry and tell me to return them back.

Because you’re fortunate to have parents who are still alive doesn’t mean everyone is. She probably developed the habit of lying trying to survive and get out of troubles from that young age of 12 when her parents died.

Foodqueen:
She lies alot, she told you she's an orphan and you believed her.

Yes sir the hallucinations have stopped and I’ve added cucumber to my diet, thanks.

okeke6969:

You are too funny oo😂😂😂 well, i really don't experience the hallucinations. Thank God you got a relief.
Whatever it is, it will stop for sure.
Wishing you more relief and good health.
Again, eat more cucumber, it also helps.
Health / Re: What Is The Cost Of Total Hip Replacement And Best Place To Do It In Nigeria by Light2023: 7:29pm On Mar 01
The drugs are working, the pain has magnificently reduced to the point that I don’t limp like i used to.

Only thing i noticed is that i now dream a lot and hallucinate right after waking up from a dream.

Today when i woke up from a dream i saw a big ass spider the size of an adult man’s hand grabbing a big ass cockroach grin grin grin. It was all hallucinations cheesy
okeke6969:

Thank you sir.
Then, like I said earlier, let me know the outcome of the drugs when you start using it.
Try and quote me.
Wishing you a sound health.

Thanks for the info.

This problem started 2 yrs ago when i moved to Akeja (an area inside ogun state separated from Lagos by just a small bridge)

It became worst when i moved a bit deeper into Ogun state (Ota).

I’ve left Ota and now stay in Lagos. I feel like There is so many bad forces operating in that Ogun state.

okeke6969:

Prednisolone 1 satchet (10pcs)= N150
Felvin 1 satchet (10pcs)= N200.
Depending on your location.
I reside in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Health / Re: What Is The Cost Of Total Hip Replacement And Best Place To Do It In Nigeria by Light2023: 12:57pm On Feb 27
Pain started 2 years ago, started limping 6 months ago. Pain became too much last week so i went for a scan and was diagnosed with the problem. One of my femural head has already started collapsing.

okeke6969:

So sorry about yours too. As for me on the bike issue, I climb bike like a lady on mini skirt.
On the drugs, this is the combination I use-
In the morning- 2 prednisolone+ 2 felvin.
In the night - Repeat same.
Let me me know the outcome.
Please, stay strong.
If I may ask, for how many months is it?
Health / Re: What Is The Cost Of Total Hip Replacement And Best Place To Do It In Nigeria by Light2023: 11:54am On Feb 27
Oh dear, i know how you feel, I’ve totally lost range of motion of my hips to the point that I can’t even open my legs to sit on a bike. May we remain mentally strong through this because it can be mentally depressing.

Thanks for sharing what you’ve been using for the pain, I’ll give it a try because the drugs I’ve been using aint working for me.
okeke6969:

It has been a terrible and horrific time of my life. The pains associated with this ailment is out of this world, I hardly do things on my own.
My mobility is limited, I hardly go out now except on a serious matter that requires my attention.
So, I depends on pain killer to ease it.
Prednisolone and felvin is what I have been using.
Health / Re: What Is The Cost Of Total Hip Replacement And Best Place To Do It In Nigeria by Light2023: 10:01am On Feb 27
Sorry to hear you have been going through this for a very long time. If you don’t mind can you let me know what drugs you’ve been using to cope with the pain.
okeke6969:
I have similar health issues since 2010 till date.
I visited Lagoon hospital at Apapa in 2012, I was asked to gather 2.5M for both leg.
Things have changed now, you may requires about 20-25M

Thanks for the information

I’m interested at a newly built flat at Seaside Estate Badore but the other commenter said badore is hq of cultists and robberies, how true is that?

FarmPlanetNG:

I stayed in Badore for years. I dont know much about the holdup issue. But after Ajiwe, where you have the police station all the way to Shop Rite, you have many estates to the left and right. These areas are all okay. Unless you want to go in deeper to areas like Awoyaya

Do not go to Abijo GRA o. Do not take the comment above seriously. There is extreme spiritual backwardness and lack of progress casted on that entire environment o. People there basically just live in tatters, an area without more than 5-10 times of light in an entire year for over five years isnt a good area. Plus the difficulty in getting bike inside everytime asids from the cost.
Family / Re: Is Abijo, Palmsbay Estate, Ajah, Lagos A Good Place To Live by Light2023: 4:00am On Feb 16
What about Badore? How good is it compared to the ones you have mentioned

FarmPlanetNG:
If you can, go closer to Majek area, LBS, Sangotedo, Abraham Adesanya, or even Shoprite area to get a house
