Seniorwriter:
@OP You don't need all you listed up there ....firstly put the horse before the cart...not the other way round.
Buy a bike or two if you have the funds but it is ideal you start with one....then build your customer clientele with an aggressive online and offline advertisements or marketing of your logistics outfit.

I have a client based in Lagos(Lekki axis) that consulted my ET(Evaluation Team) for a paid all round setup tips and client boost consultation plus branding and she settled for the advise to start with a partnership dispathrider but after 4 months she now has 6 dispatch riders and bikes(new bikes) working for her......the most important thing is to get and build your clientele ....
Presently two(2) of her dispatch riders even proposed they'll be paying her #5k daily but will be in control of activities and she declined.

It's a profitable venture if you are ready.

@SENIORWRITER
Thanks seniorwriter. Much appreciated. See 2 heads are better than one. I guess building a clientele ia a major key point. Great.
Please keep your comments coming
BusinessStarting A Dispatch/courier Company In Abuja: Serious Questions & Advice Needed by lightsaber(op): 9:03am On Aug 15, 2021
Hello fellow Nairalanders,
For some time, I have been having a nagging desire to start up a dispatch/courier company here in Abuja, but I honestly don’t know all the ropes. I have done extensive research (including reading some threads here) but I need the wisdom of fellow Nairalanders who have gotten experience in this business (too much advice no dey kill).
Here are my questions and look forward to positive and enlightening comments

1. what is the best motorbike to use and the pros and cons?
2. what are the main problems of motor bikes?
3. how do you tackle fraudulent riders who tamper with the trackers?
4. are experienced drivers better than newbie drivers?
5. how is the tariff or fares fixed?
6. how much is a customized pick up and drop service mobile app
7. is fixed pay better than percentage pay or commission

Abeg my Ogas and Madams, please done be angry with my lots of questions (No be exam o). As the country is, i don’t want to waste my little savings. I would appreciate constructive comments from everyone, especially those people who understand the abuja terrain and market.
Thank you

one of the benefits of NL is the ability to interact with great and talented minds. i want to commence a modest building project but as someone new in the area of building i dont have too much knowledge. however one thing i know is to get a good building design/ plan and integrated structural, electrical and other conceptual plans and all the people i have met have not been able to deliver something good.

so here's the challenge to all the architects builders and designers;
i have a 50*100 ft plot of land and i want to build a two flat apartment, one three bedroom and the second a four bedroom apartment probably all ensuite. simple yet eye catching. this project will commence this year.

pls post your designs here and include your email and i will contact the best design that suits me for the job.

thank you.

nb: other people ready to start building but yet to commence can drop their building challenge here.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Now I am tired...
Just as many of you have taken your time to read this story so have i taken my time in writing it. I cannot please you... I am not writing this story to satisfy your sexual urge(this is to those that are only concerned about Bleep)
I started out with a good intention of narrating my story to many out there who are going through what I went.. I wanted them to learn from this.
Now to those who want a summary, this is a story, stories are usually long narratives. Pls have it in mind that as I post comments I also see comments on this thread.. Majority of which are of obscene thoughts and it's a big distraction to me... Now do this
Imagine you were with friends, or should I say students whatever setting you wanted, and you were telling your story and some are throwing one or two sentence which is totally out of order, not what you have in mind because it is not what you experienced. Now how would you feel
To those that say I was running out of lies because I haven't mentioned the part where I had sex, pls bridle your tongue because You can not tell my story for me.
And to those who say they are bored with the story, just as you are bored, I am also bored because I was no longer seeing reasonable comments as I progressed and i am pretty sure that majority of those that tarried along up till this point are those that are eager to read and enjoy the sex scene. Well, I am sorry to disappoint you, I didn't start my story to ENTERTAIN but rather to ENLIGHTEN you on what is going on in our society.
To those saying I was making the stories shorts so i could garner pages, well sorry to say this but I think you are myopic, if you religiously followed from the beginning you would see comments on when I said I was at work.
And to the young man, that asked me why I Did not type everything out in a computer and uploaded all once instead, well you see sir, I started this story after a thought came to my mind, I was so motivated that I decided to register as a member on nairaland because I have always been a visitor on nairaland and this is my first topic on nairaland. I actually thought I could tell it peaceful as it progressed and not to be confused at the long run by many of you who wanted a different story.

Since you are not patient enough to know how I used what i had to get what I wanted.... You would probably never know.

My experiences are my precious moments because they shaped me into what I am today, and I won't have it altered because I want to tell a story on nairaland.
At this junction I drop my pen!

what was your goal of creating this post? entertainment or education?

from your post it stated education. if so, why do you focus on people seeking entertainment? you were helping people who were privileged see the circumstances of the underprivileged and change their ways. for that I give you a gold star
your last post before you walked out only addressed the people that were negative. how about the overwhelming positive feedback?

many people can not remember the full story of their life or for shame, choose not to remember but you have shared your life's story. beautiful! note this particular forum is filled with all sorts young, old, mature, immature but considering the number of view and pages on this page, the percentage of distraction is insignificant

how many people followed your story for >25pages? i know you still check! what does that mean? your story resonates with all of us, we feel you and impressions are changing.

nothing is irreversible even the laws of the Mede's and Persians!

so if you have achieved your goal of education then fine

but if you haven't

remember that this story helps change minds and makes us more tolerant and compassionate to our neighbors. continue as if you didn't stop. yes the wolves would insult you even more but you didn't start this for them but for the downtrodden and depressed. you started this for the high comfortable and mighty to lend a helping hand.

do the right thing! obey your mind!!
your story might just be the medium someone's life was saved.

we still want to know how you used way you had to get what you wanted!!

NB I believe you're still sincere and genuine
