Lagos State is a no man's land but unfortunately it is found in Yoruba soil....

It is a no man's land not because of the land area but in terms of Developmental strategies, all tribes in Nigeria joined hands to from Lagos State....

But by land property, it is unfortunate to be in Yoruba soil , Unfortunate because if that part of Nigeria where to be with South South or South East , Lagos State won't be this backwards ...
Your head get oil bro!

Exactly!!!

How i wished Lagos was part of south east or south south that is close to Atlantic Ocean like that, borders Atlantic Ocean... Just from there you get to other parts of the world through maritime Ocean way.

He for don developed more than this, my Igbo brothers could of used the opportunities to expand trade etc to other SE States.

Yes. Yoruba made Lagos wat it is today. It has been developed long before ur great grand fathers ever thought of migrating there. It has been a major trading centre between the Yorubas and Portuguese as far back as in 13th century. So you igbos have nothing on lagos. It made you!!

We need a president who is not afraid of the Fulanis.

Who is not afraid to send some people to jail.

Cities like Abidjan in this same west Africa is better developed than Lagos by infrastructure but it was not like that during the days of the western region. Nowhere in west Africa was as developed as Ibadan or Lagos back then.

Therefore if no Nigeria do you think Lagos population would have been lower or the infrastructure worse? Presently Abidjan is a more expensive city to live in than Lagos.

The selling point of Lagos is the high population and some status it gained like being the unicorn capital of Africa and etc. It was also ranked highest at a point for tech innovation or so. How did Nigeria achieve all that for Lagos? Nigeria or not the population would have been there. The population is in New York
It is also strategically located very very close to the Atlantic Ocean, it borders Atlantic Ocean.

These are the kind of statements that your kins make and then there's wahala, you will soon say they hate your triibe, how do you call a man's land,no land or land for everybodyhuh Is that how you accommodate others in your own town?
Lagos Nigeria is a Yoruba land, it is in the map like that and very close to the Atlantic Ocean i mean it borders Atlantic Ocean. Where our colonial masters came into Nigeria from.

I didn't call Lagos Nigeria a no man's land!

I said it belongs to all TRIBES in Nigeria. All of us.... there's reasons for that.

Next time ask which part of Lagos was the former capital of Nigeria and your daddy will educate you better.
You have encroached beyond the capital to the best of my knowledge
I don't know why you people keep saying this same thing over and over again. This same line of selecting places that you lots claimed was where the capital of Nigeria was in Lagos.
Why are you guys keep doing this, it's unfair to select some places in Lagos as only once a capital of Nigeria.
Is like selecting
Gwagwalada,
Garki
Wuse
Maitama
Asokoro and the community where Aso Rock is located as the only capital of Nigeria, neglecting the whole of Abuja as the capital.

You guys are highly educated in Nigeria, you should all stop doing this for some reasons which we know nothing about.
This is unfair bro honestly!

This Colonial Masters, places they lived in Nigeria during their time here were a little bit planned and arranged cities till today.

Lagos Nigeria was their HOME before they left everyone knows that.

You have not answered my question. And I'm adding this one too.
2. Is Lagos Yorubaland or Iboland.

I will also include a map for your understanding
Oh i didn't know Kwara was also a Yorubaland. And many Yorubas i had conversations with online were excluding and removing Kwara from their map, saying it is not a Yorubaland because of the Fulanis there.

Ok, please read the history behind mass migration to Lagos Nigeria by different TRIBES of Nigeria during the 1960s. Just try there's no shame in knowing things you have no knowledge before.

I am saying this because i wasn't arguing with you of what tribe owns Lagos Nigeria, where my argument lies is for those saying that the Yorubas made Lagos that after making Lagos what it is today, then the Igbos or others started migrating to Lagos.

you need to listen to some tribal bigots from the igbo land ,the way they're insulting and gaslighting the Yorubas, simply because they chose to support president tinubu over Peter obi . I believed no be by force for any one to like a candidate

It's vice versa. The Yorubas are doing the same to the Igbos.

Just visit X you will understand me.

Does Anambra also belong to all of us Nigeria or it is only Yorubaland that can be shared? I'm just asking for a friend.
Oyo is there,
Osun
Ogun
Ekiti
Kwara, but i didn't mention them, i single handedly picked Lagos Nigeria for a reason.

Once again, i will repeat it Lagos, Nigeria is HOME to all TRIBES in Nigeria including those from other African countries.
You can find this same thing in places like Port Harcourt city.

And it wasn't the Yorubas that made happen!

True talk we should accomodate each other, igbos don’t really like theirselves in their homelands main reason why Dey move to other part of the country or world for trading. Na fear of being killed at home when u are already excelling. Use to make them come to Lagos.
When u don’t even like yourselves u want other trybe to like and accept you…hmm okay ooo

.
You don't know anything about the HISTORY of Lagos and the reason behind almost all TRIBES in Nigeria can be found in Lagos.

If you don't know history of something, you keep quiet or you do a research about it, you don't come online and be writing things you know nothing about.
CelebritiesRe: ‘The Igbos Have Given A Lot To Lagos Economy’ – Rapper Illbliss (Video) by lightwind(m): 4:50pm On Jun 05
Lagos State Nigeria has been a HOME to all TRIBES in Nigeria since 1914 till today. All Nigeria tribes OWNS Lagos Nigeria our former capital and also it's home to our colonial masters before they left Nigeria.

Lagos, Nigeria belongs to all of us Nigerians.

Dear southwest,

You originated magun (climb and kpai). You demonstrate supernatural powers that are depicted in your movies.

Can't you gather all the witch-doctors in your region and cast a spell so that anyone doing banditry, terrorism and kidnapping in your region will start barking like a dog and kpai or run nuts and jump into a river?

Oyo Empire, the cradle of Yoruba awakening is under attack. Strangers are picking your children. What are you doing about it?

Your land is under attack. DEFEND IT OR LOSE IT TO STRANGERS!

President Tinubu: whatever you accomplish, if our land is not secure, YOU HAVE FAILED AND IT IS YOUR NAME THAT WOULD BE ETERNALLY STAINED!
You people do laugh at other regions.

Seyi Makinde is not sincere of truly he asked Igboho not to enter the bush and flush those terrorist out.

A big game is being played here, out politicians are so heartless and they will definitely pay for this. There time is up and am sure the Tinubu I know will not succumb to to their threat and manipulations.

Over the years, information about the terrorist and their powerful sponsors are being gathered, bit by bit, they will begin to release damning information to the public, the dossiers of these organizations is in the hands of the US intelligence.

The next few years will witness serious clampdown and Nigeria will not remain the same
Thank God you didn't mention the Igbos today in regards with the Fulanis.

I wonder why you people won't call them out, and threaten them.
