That is to ensure that the device is functioning properly before selling as some might be defective due to factory error.

Perusing this thread i see most users are selling off their fones as parts. Seems there's no repair centre and their parts are unavailable in d country.

There is an official repair center. And there is a store that sells Umidigi Parts in Ikeja, been there before but I can't remember the name of the street.
