HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by LilBenny(f): 5:36am On Jun 29, 2018
Good morning beautiful Mama's.
I did another scan yesterday because I'm monitoring the cyst I got from one round of clomid in April.
The result I got yesterday is worrisome. It says I have a Ceptated cyst in my left ovary. My next appointment is next week Wednesday. But I'm really worried sick.
Has this happened to anyone before? Can it be treated with drugs? Does it mean something big?

Help me please

I forgot to add that the period came on the 33rd day,and owed for just two days, didn't on the 3rd day, and now it's just dripping. Does Clomid mess up your period too?
LilBenny:
Good evening mama's.
I finished my first round of clomid last month. My period came. I started the clomid again because that's what the specialist told me. After that first 100mg dose I started feeling very awful, dizzy, extremely weak, fatigue, could not even walk without waving. So on day 3 I went for scan and saw I had 4.3cm cyst on my left ovary, and a developing folicle on the right.
So I stopped the clomid because of the cyst. But until now I still feel weird. I never had any of these effects last month.
Unfortunately I cannot see the doctor now because I have to book for it and that will take another one month.

My question is will all these effect wear off on their own? I took the 100mg on the 1st.

I also need opinions on which of the dietary supplements I can use. I'm presently taking Pregnacare conception, but someone told of Evergreen woman and Fertilaid.
Has anyone used any of these?
Do they have side effects?
Are they what I can just walk into a pharmacy to buy or the specialist has to recommend it?
Can I take any of them now that I just got off Clomid?

Please help me. I had a lot of hopes when I started the Clomid but this setback makes me feel like I'm back to square one.

It's actually my first time on Clomid. My gynae prescribed it. He even told me to use it on this cycle and if nothing I should repeat it on the next but if in my next two cycles no BFP I should report to the clinic. It's not self medication at all.
Starmummy:
Sorry sis,I hope u r better now,I pray for BFP for u this time but plssss, hope u r being monitored by ur doctor? R u running follicles tracking cos Clomid has a very bad effect if used on a long term, pls don't self meditate on clomid.#hugs

Good morning beautiful Mama's. Please o, I'm back again with my wahala.

It is two weeks after my Clomid drugs. Something I noticed yesterday I need to know if it's part of the whole Clomid wahala.
Yesterday I noticed there's this internal burning sensation on my laps, behind. It's not constant. It goes and come.

Did anyone who has used Clomid experience this? Or should I be running to the doctors?

Good Afternoon Mama's. Happy Holidays to you all.

I am starting the Clomid meds tomorrow. A lot of mama's told me to add Raspberry tea with It.

My question is when do I take the Raspberry tea? Is it after the five days of the medication, or do I take it as I'm taking the clomidhuh

Have a beautiful long weekend.
HealthRe: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by LilBenny(f): 6:45am On Mar 23, 2018
Wowww, congratulations. I'm so happy for you.
That means clomid worked for you in just one trial? This raspberry tea is it what I can get in any shop in Lagos? My gynaecologist recommended Clomid, but I'm starting on my next cycle. Someone here told me to add this tea when taking it. I'm presently on pregnacare conception supplements too.

[qquote author=Anitaamich post=65828794]Good day fruitful mamas, I have come to announce my BFP. Tested positive with blood test. I actively started ttc this year and dealing with PCOS, registered with a doctor and been that AF was missing since September last year, he first give me drugs to induce and AF came. He then placed me on clomid and metformin which I took from cd 2-6(it was a horrible experience). Afterwards, I started taking pregnacare conception and red raspberry tea with cinnamon (sometimes I add honey). Took the tea till ovulation and stopped, continued with the pregnacare till BFP though I stopped being consistent with it. AF was supposed to come on 7th of this month but didn't, at first I thought it's the usual wahala but been cramping for one week and my boobs hurts so bad, decided to test and saw two thick red lines. Thanks to all the mamas here for your support and encouragement. Plenty hugs to you all and I pray the Lord that did it for me, will do it for everyone. I'm currently on duphaston and folic acid.[/quote]

Thanks so much. I actually did a scan among the tests and there's not fibroid. And the hsg too showed it's all clear. A lot of people seem to have miscarriage history with clomid. Does anyone know why it's like that? Someone told me about Evergreen woman. That it's better than Clomid. But I can't take it since it wasn't prescribed by my Doctor right? They also say a lot of fertility experts don't recommend Clomid. Why will mine recommend it for me? If I had known this I'd have asked him.
Loisemm:
Mamaheaven , thank God for His mercies over your life. May you and yours continue to be safe under the shadow of His wings.

Lilbenny , clomid enhances ovulation but should be monitored if taken by women with fibroid or cysts. They should avoid it till after the tumours are removed sef. So check with a pelvic scan first. Then please try to limit clomid intake to not more than 6 cycles. Too much of it can lead to other complications. It works and works well for some but doesn't work for some others. I hope it does work for you. Since your doc recommended it, then try it with the precautions above.

Amen, thanks so much. Really appreciate it
PatKing:
Clomid is a 6 month circle, at the end you must stop trying to avoid cancer.
I did Clomid after all sciences failed, conceived in my 1st circle, miscarried.
Continued and got BFP on my 3rd circle, it is God, not clomid.
Most Doctors discourage the use if Clomid, since it's your fertility doctor, please go on, and you must be closely monitored.
I don't remember my progesterone level...
God will do it... have faith.

Wow, thanks so much. This helpful. Does the evergreen woman have these side effects? Like the hot flushes and molar pregnancy? Alot of people seem to have miscarriage history with xlomid.
BeeBlossoms:
Side effects, the first time I used I got really hot flushes and my cm got extra really stretchy and I got pregnant, but
It was a molar pregnancy, when I used it next, I got really strong ovulation that the pain made it hard to walk sef, and it worked after 4 cycles on 100g a day...in all, I would pick evergreen woman over Clomid, it really works. All those tests, especially the hsg would not be in vain for u honey, your bfp is here

PS, don't wait for those dates, just keep doing the baby dance, before my first child, I used to ovulate of DAY 10, imagine, so days.12...14...etc would have been a waste of time, just enjoy yourself and relax

Hello everyone, I really need some help and tips from experienced Mama's in the house.

I've never been pregnant before. Hubby deflowered me. We got married in June 2016, and I've been ttc since that June. After a year we both went for the tests, I've even done HSG and all. The results came out good, except progesterone which is 5.2 and the gynae said its low. In my last appointment he prescribed Clomid, and gave us dates. He said to take the Clomid from day 2 to day 6 of the cycle. Then should have sex on day 10, 12, and 14. He said if after the cycle I don't get a positive result, I should use the Clomid again in the next cycle.

Is there anyone who has used Clomid before? What should I be expecting? Any drug reaction? Does it work immediately, or how many cycles does it take? Is it also true that a 5.2 progesterone cannot conceive normally?

Are there any other useful advice that will help?

I'd have asked my gynae all these bit Luth gynaecologists are so impatient.

Please help. I carry this look like all is well but I'm super worried.

Thanks in advance.
