I can't recall the exact amount i was charged but you should have around $20 in your Dom account.
Yearly maintenance fee is around $10/yr.

The main issue is getting a Dom account once you have a Dom account, you'll be asked to write a letter requesting the card. And come back in a week time for it.

Unfortunately, I don't know the requirements to open a Dom account as it was my account officer that did that for me.
But I think you'll need a reference of someone with an active Dom account or so thereabouts.
You can ask abou that.

I have a Dom account and I've gotten a Dom card.

One of my domains at SH has a price of 6k put on it by SH after approval and I am given an option to increase it to 6599. And they insisted on adding 8% or more of the BIN price if I am to also list in Af.ternic. I fear it's too high. Although I submitted the name with a 7k price during SH submission. Lol

.ng domains have more cons than pros.

First, it is very expensive...second, it does not even rank well in SEO. i will rather stick to .com

actually depends on what your niche is based on. if its on local business here or any brand of such here, it would do well on search engines compared to .Com's.

Actually, it shouldn't matter but you should read the reviews of such site regarding domain push as only few so so without stressing you out.
I rarely buy from local though.
