Manchester United travel to Huddersfield Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup this weekend keen to bounce back from a disappointing Premier League defeat to Newcastle in their last outing by reaching the quarter finals of the Emirates FA Cup for the fourth year in a row. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has given 24 hours to candidates who have obtained their pins to complete their registration.

The board gave the advice in a statement to announce the close of sales of forms for this year’s unified tertiary matriculation examination.

According to the statement issued by its Head of Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, on Tuesday, in Abuja, the board noted that it would not entertain any complaints from candidates who fail to complete their registration exercise.

He said the extension applied to candidates who had initiated registration processes and had paid and procured the registration e-pins but could not register at the closed of sales............

Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka has warned Nigerians to resist any invasion by killer armed herdsmen. He said this on Tuesday as he called on relevant authorities to check the wave of attacks being perpetrated by armed herdsmen across the country.

Professor Soyinka told journalists in Lagos that the phenomenon of herdsmen and farmers clashes is not new but an issue that has graduated to an alarming state in the last eight years.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has been labeled a coward by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo state, Chief Charles Idahosa.

Harry Kane’s 100th Premier League goal earned Tottenham a 2-2 draw at Liverpool in a contender for the game of the season, the striker stepping up to snatch a point from the spot in a hugely dramatic match at Anfield.

Alexis Sanchez scored his first Manchester United goal as they bounced back from defeat to Tottenham by cruising to a straightforward 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town.

Jose Mourinho caused a stir by dropping Paul Pogba – who was hauled off in the 2-0 loss at Spurs – for Huddersfield’s visit and, while his absence was notable in midfield, United rarely looked like dropping points at Old Trafford.

It will be recalled that Otobo had in 2017 accused the Edo-born preacher of impregnating and abandoning her. She however, on Saturday, January 27, 2018, made a shocking U-turn and pleaded for forgiveness, disclosing that she was paid heavily by some politicians to tarnish the image of the pastor.
