3. When I copied this link it took me to a Google page and not straightforward to a particular ROM to download?

There is nothing like tweaking when updating manually.

but pls sir, I don't know how burdening this might be, but can u epp with the complete guide on how I can manually update the RN8 to the latest mui? Whenever u can, I'll really appreciate.

Update manually, it's as simple as ABC. Follow Mr Genius guide from few pages back and you'll be safe.

Good morning all. Pls I've tried all the networks to update my Redmi note 8 to the latest update but to no avail. The last time I updated, it was only possible with school WiFi. Now I wanna ask two questions.

1. I don't have problem with the phone anyway, so am ready to wait till school resume b4 updating the phone, but won't there be any problem if I only tried to update the phone after several updates have been released?

2. I could have tried a friend's phone WiFi, maybe it'll work, but where I am presently I don't have my friends around me. But I still wanna ask that if am able to get someone to share his network with me through his phone WiFi, can it work?

Those are my questions, In case someone has experienced this before. Although someone advised me to update manually but am reluctant cos I don't have any experience with phone tweaking.

am equally amazed the situation was the same with my last update, I tried both airtel and mtn, whenever I tried to update the data speed will become too poor, until I used WiFi. The thing surprised me cos if enter YouTube, it'll become very fast.

Hello everyone, pls, due to network problems and inavailability of WiFi, I've been unable to update my Redmi note 8 to the last update which is MIUI V 11.9.0. Won't this pose any problem to the device?

Wait it seems the A1 performance in PES 2020 ANDROID has been upgraded. In fact, winning a match now seems harder for me, does anyone notice that?

With a strong WiFi I was able to update my note 8 today, even mtn could not provide the strong network required. So, if u are having issue with the update, just as in my case, a strong WiFi should do it seamlessly.

Please, how do you set PES 2020 to low or high graphics on redmi note 8? . Av been hearing people talking about the graphics recently, but I have no idea how it affects the gaming experience.

Have you tried switching apn. Airtel uses two apn. Sometimes internet..ng..airtel..com works better on some stuffs while sometimes internet..ng..zain..com becomes preferable.

OK sir... Is it safe to clear all data of the system app updater? The amazing part is that if am updating any other app, the network is always strong but if it is mui, it is as if the phone does not recognise that am trying to use d network.

This issue of redmi note 8 not updating on airtel is becoming annoying, this is the same way I couldn't update to 11.0.7.0..... I cleared the cache of the system app updater it's still the same thing. I've been trying to update to 11.0.8 ever since it came out.... But to no avail. What else could anyone suggest abeg?

Settings>Apps>Manage apps>click the three vertical dots by the top right hand>Select show all apps>scroll and look for system app updater>click clear data>select clear cache

New update is out for redmi note 8. I tried hard to download the previous update but it wasn't possible. I tried to clear the cache of system app updater as I was instructed, but whenever I opened the system app updater, I never see any option on how it can be cleared. Pls, how can one clear the cache of the system app updater on redmi note 8?

Android 10 is not yet available and it doesn't require any special tweaking to install a full ROM since you aren't flashing a Custom ROM

Thanks my Oga. But if the full ROM that will be needed to get android 10 will require any tweaking, them I won't bother cos my heart is very faint. As they often say that tweaking isn't for the fainthearted.

1. My Redmi note 8 is currently running on mui 11.0.4 but the update am seeing now is 11.0.7, does it mean that I failed to notice the 0.5 and 0.6 when they arrived or they didn't bring them at all?

2. Pls is the mui 11.0.7 bug free?

3.Will redmi note 8 get android 10?

Pls house, am I the only one experiencing this, cos am frustrated already. My phone can download anything but this recent update mui 11.0.7.0, av tried it several times. It will never leave 0%. Pls what can be the cause? The phone is redmi note 8.

My airtel 4g is very poor recently. I can't even download the recent update ever since. Most of the time it's 0.0kb/s. It only speeds up when am on YouTube. Pls is anyone experiencing this? Or what can be the cause of this, if there's any?

I was surprised when I saw infinix s5 of helio p22 effectively playing pes 2020. I always thought that anything less than helio p60 can't play the game.
