konfused: To all and sundry who says Igbos are not marginalised, can you give one tangible reason for the anomaly that Reno pointed out.
It's very obvious, but due to the hatred they have for Igbos, they will say it doesn't matter.....
Sometimes I wonder what is it about the Igbos that makes every other tribe in Nigeria hate them. When it comes to all ills associated with Nigeria, all other tribes re not exempted, so why the hate.
Name any crime associated with Nigeria, you will not fail to see an individual from every tribe that has been involved one way or the other.
So why always the IGBOS.
Ka Chineke nyere anyi aka. You guys have governors, senators and house of reps members, all elected by you and you alone. what exactly did you elect them for if they can't represent you on a federal level. all they do is embezzle funds while being lauded first look inward before you shift the blame outward |

The one who called said his name was Engr Wale from Pipeline petroleum marketing company. Even the name sounded like a scam. The aboki is also hon usman mohammed, and the product is durad150 made in Germany, the idiot was stressing that part. Anyways I and my friends let him finish his pitch while the phone was on speaker and then we rained curses on him These are their numbers 08154438042 08186607853 08022696529 |

most of you people don't even realise that He is just giving you old news. we have just concluded phase 2 out of the 3 phases necessary for a nuclear programme. the two plants are to be sited in itu, akwa ibom and geregu, kogi state. for the wailers crying about it being a ploy by this administration, the first one will be completed by 2025, and this programme has been in active planning for over 10years |

blues20: Dude, did you go through this post from page 1? Who fired the first shot? Was this thread created against the Yoruabs? Was it not in celebration of Biafran achievement over 3 years civil war? Why are you speaking from both side of your mouth? Who is talking about empire and kingdom? Was there any mention of empire and kingdom from the post? check yourself very well. You, as a Yoruba, do possess an innate insecurity on anything Igbo... that's a fact. When you guys stop poke-nosing on our issues, then you'll begin to recover from your inferiority complex. @ the bold, don't kill yourself on how we will survive, cuz we've been doing that. Our status.... can attest to it, irrespective of over the years marginalization/balkanisation of our land from your Federal Government. This all started when someone tried to correct come errors in the thread and y'all became insecure and defensive of what you felt was an abuse of your heritage. to me the truth is this, anything worth its salt in this world can speak for itself, just like christians don't have to defend God cause we believe He is the almighty and our defender and not vice versa personally, i really don't care if some people built or didn't build war machines decades ago, i care about what they are doing now |

1 ewedu and amala 2 owamber has anyone on this thread actually read the history of Nigeria prior to colonialism? the Yoruba empire was the only one in the entirety of West Africa to survive right up to colonisation. the Igbos didn't even have a centralised govt. the most they had was the long juju at arochukwu. not even a kingdom. and now you guys come here to form bosses on NL. ask yourselves this, if Biafra does break out what exactly do you have to offer? you all wail about being treated badly by the govt, yet you have senators, reps and governors voted by youbown hands. y'all should look inwardly for the geniuses in you rather than place blames elsewhere |

No need for the anger in this thread. Biafrans pumped out some serious tech in a short period. LOOK IT UP! yes they did. but the question is, where are they now, all we have now is just a generation of money hungry, tech lazy people living off former glory. what happened to the geniuses who created these. what happened to the Biafra of then. now Igbo land is only synonymous with fraud, and fake products. apart from Aba what else can igboland showcase as produce (and I don't mean coal, oil or Igbos in diaspora 'cos those aren't doing it for the motherland) BTW I'm proudly Yoruba |

Warship: The only projectile technology they knew was guided rocket aka missile.
If they knew how to build bullet/shell technology, Nigeria troops would have perished and vanquished.
If they had gone an extra mile to successfully build a jet engine technology, Lagos, Kano and Kaduna, would have been reduced to rumbles like Berlin. yup, I agree but they would have needed more time, tech and way more funds than what Biafra had at that time. even Germany during WWII spent billions on their tech but still lost out on the nuclear bomb development to the USA |

obailala: At a meagre 5,000mw, Nigerians enjoyed up to 18-20hrs power supply accros the entire country for months. I can assure you that 7,000 to 10,000 can translate to a steady 20-22hrs accross the nation. The only thing is, when power becomes fairly stable, it would drive industrialisation, and with a large drive in industrialisation, the power demand will increase monumentally and then even 10,000mw wouldn't be enough any more. But with the current state of things (non-industralised Nigeria), even 7000mw would do wonders. You've got it all wrong. for starters over 40%of Nigerians do not have power at all. even 7,000mw is barely enough for Lagos ( the most populous state) to get 24/7 electricity in all its environs |
